Omg....this was wonderful. There was a bit more people there than I expected, but my friend and I managed to enjoy ourselves. I didn't expect the sulfur smell either,so that was interesting,😁. The GPS was a little off base too, I ended up driving past the entrance for parking, luckily was able to figure it out before I got too far up the road. I would recommend putting in a more obvious entrance sign.It was very beautiful in the area. Was there for a couple hours walked away at ease and very relaxed, hope to go back soon.

It was our first visit there. Some friends invited us to go sit in the hot mineral water. I was surprised at how large the hot pool was. The adjacent swimming pool was really nice and heated. It's about 5 ft deep and plenty of room. The restrooms and changing area were very clean. Lockers are provided.Best unexpected deal is the senior discount!

This place is absolutely amazing! It is a little oasis if fun in the mountain valley! Golf course, warm spring water swimming pool and two warm/hot fresh spring water that have a ton of minerals that make your skin tingle! The best (because I am an avid fisherman) I’d the famous Snake River runs right down the middle of town. I highly recommend renting a spot in the camp area so you can set your tent and family right next to this beautiful river to fish! I nailed a huge rainbow. Check it out.Playground: The entire turn is a playgroundRestrooms: Clean and has showersDog-friendliness: LeashedPicnic area: A lot if room

My wife finally got an item crossed off her bucket list, sitting in a hot spring with snow falling on us! Great hot springs, two different temp pools. Can't beat the price 👌 . Well maintained. Good attentive staff.Restrooms: Restroom/shower room/locker room clean and well equipped.Picnic area: It was snowing, so we didn't use it, but it looked good.

Very small town feel, in a good way. Hot tub is variable - you can go towards very hot water or stay on the cooler side. Good pool as well. Clean locker rooms.

We stayed 2 nights at the campground. It was well cared for and clean. Its a great place to enjoy the hot springs, a cold beer and great pizza. The staff in the restaurant were great.

Loved the 110 F hot tub. The larger pool was about 92. Very family friendly. Love the free lockers. Sulfur smell but this is feed by a natural springs. Had a great time and would be back when I am in the area again.

We went to a company party. Great pizza and a cute lil 9 hole golf course. The course plays very slow but it’s beautiful.

Great campground. Ziplines are amazing. Pricing for the pools is okay if you are an adult. But to charge the same for a 2 yr old, is ridiculous. Also to charge a spectator fee of 10 dollars just to sit and only give you back 5 is nutts. You are charging someone for sitting. The pools are also very over crowded. Additionally, while all campgrounds are able to use the showers and laundry, they are locked behind a coded gate making it very inconvenient for what we pay for the site. We would come back, but would not be using the pools at all.

Great experience! We have been going here since we were kids. Open in both summer and winter, perfect for families. Smells of natural sulfur which is actually kinda nice instead of chlorine. Facilities are clean, safe, a little busy but if definitely recommend

This is a great escape from the hot temperatures. Family-friendly, clean, and well-kept. There is a large pool divided in three sections: diving board where kids jump off and dive, cannon ball and flip (also a place for adults to sit near board) then a narrow section to swim, and a more shallow larger area for younger kids/toddlers to play. Also on the grounds is a separated hot spring portion, splash ground and long water slide. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for 11 and under, $1 for infants. They also serve food including ice cream! The music is tasteful as well. Sets the vibe.

Very fun! The zip line course is epic, the warm pool is so great in the winter, and the restaurant is so charming.

Worth the money, especially when it's 25* F outside. Healing and invigorating!

Heise Hot Springs was a wonderful property positioned beside the Snake River. We were located in spot 5 on the golf course campground which ended up being a perfect location and noticeably larger outdoor space. The natural springs was nice and hot and the swimming pool was heated to about 92 which was delightful.

Quite impressed with the newer look. The splash section was perfect for my 1 year old. The warm water was amazing and he loved it. The hot pool area separate from the main pool, is still the same as it has been for years. The water is murky and needs better cleaning system, but it's still a nice little oasis for us in surrounding towns to take the kids. The slide is old and probably an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" situation, but the kids still go on it. Lava is nicer but also quite a drive from Idaho falls area, so having heise close by is nice

Hot pool review. We had so much fun here on an early March visit. Outdoor temperature was 35°, the “warm pool” was fantastic for our 2 little ones, and the “hot pool” (akin to hot tub) was so relaxing and comfortable for adults. Our little ones did safely spend a little time in the hot pool, but it became too hot after a few minutes so we migrated back to warm pool.I recommend bringing some type of shower shoe/flip flop for the locker rooms. The floor did get muddy and wet and it felt a bit icky walking on bare feet. The free lockers are an awesome surprise. There are also benches outside along the pool so you can throw your towel down or sit and watch from the side if you aren’t swimming. The office staff was very helpful in finding us the most economical way to purchase tickets. We found the family package was best for us. It was $50 for $70 worth of tickets so it saved us a little chunk of change and was much appreciated. We rented towels and it was a bargain at $0.50 each!Parking did seem a bit limited, but it was a very busy Saturday and we found a spot with a short walk to the entrance.Beware you will smell like sulfur, so either bring body wash to rinse off with afterwards or plan on showering at home shortly after!Overall and awesome and unique experience and would do again!

Love the new updates it was a great experience. We loved it. One thing that could change is if they would turn the music down some, it was hard to talk to each other on the side of the pool without yelling.Restrooms: Restroom and dressing room very nice and they were clean.

Fun swimming for all ages. They have a hot and cold pool area. Slide and a little splash pad area. We also loved the variety of food and ice cream at the snack shack.

We were there only for the hot springs. It is just like a swimming pool that is warm and then a pool about 1/4 the size of that is the hot pool. It was clean and people were friendly and helpful. The changing area was really nice offered lockers for free and you can use your own four digit code to lock and unlock. No change needed and no key to carry around. There were showers even with soap and for your privacy changing rooms. The only thing missing is an outdoor spring look/atmosphere. It just like any pool. All that said we enjoyed our stay and price is fair. This would be a great place to spend a long weekend camping, zip lining and soaking in the hot springs.

Great clean hot springs with a potent hot pool and a cooler (but still hot) larger pool. Staff was friendly and admission price was very reasonable.

No better place than here to take to your kids on a summer hot day. Waterslides, hot pools, a giant pool, you can buy food inside. Really fun place, fairly priced. Right next to the river where you can also hike while your kids swim, the campground is right there. Just a fun place.

Set in a beautiful location along a river, Heise hot springs is a wonderful place to go swimming and enjoy a soak in mineral hotspring water. There is a newly completed pool that is very family friendly with slides and other attractions for kids. The site also has a beautiful campground with all the amenities. There is a lot other beautiful sites to see within driving distance.

We decided to try Heise Hot Springs.Positives first: the lights were nice and the building looked updated. The locker rooms were spacious with a fun floor design.I did like how there were drinking fountains inside and outside.Front staff didn't seem too excited to be there and not the most friendly.Part of the hot pool floor was sharp and come off under my toe.The hotter pool had no warning that it just drops off to several feet. Stinky, as was expected, from the minerals. Not always hot, depending on how many people were in it.Some spots had a place to sit, others just standing options. The rules were not being followed nor enforced by the lifeguards. The lifeguards were busy talking on one side of the pool as severe PDA was going on the opposite end corner. With young children around, that was quite awful. There was also very foul language being used loudly by another group. The deepest part of the hot pool is 5 feet.It also is not very big.Parking:The road is narrow and steep and parking is on the sides of that road. One side is a dropoff. Be wary.We had thought this place had pizza, we learned that it isn't sold there.Overall, it was an expensive experience and would rather travel further to another place.Restrooms: Spacious bathrooms.

Beautiful place for a day or weekend trip. Have campgrounds, pools with water slide, ziplines, fishing and nice little trails for hiking. Perfect place to get outdoors with the family and enjoy the fresh air and nature!

Great after a day of skiing or hiking around the snow. Night and it was full of teenagers and teeny bopper music, but still a great night to enjoy the hot springs. Especially majestic being in the hot springs while it is snowing. It is seated in a beautiful location. I look forward to coming back after a day of hiking.

Great place to go for the day with kids. The pool is large with a diving board and there's also a waterslide. The hot springs specifically are very hot and very sulfur-smelling. My swimsuit smelled all the way home, and I only spent maybe 10 minutes in there because it felt good, so just be aware. They have locker rooms and a snack bar, although I didn't order anything. Staff were friendly enough and plenty of lifeguards who did a good job making sure people were staying safe.

Great get away. The hot springs are always relaxing and warm. There are times when it is crowded and kids are everywhere because the hot spring pool is small. However, their new pool, which you get access to both, was great. It’s fun and a good way to spend our occasional afternoon. We also love to camp at their campground. My husband walks 10 feet and fishes and we go swimming. In the summer there’s also a zip line, hiking trails and an amazing downhill bike route.

The water is warm and amazing. I can see why people go here. Swimming is super enjoyable because of the temperature. The slide is... historic. It is fun, dated and great. While there, apparently someone pooped in the pool and it seemed like the staff either didn't know what to do or had no desire to do it quickly. The warmer pool seemed like it was falling apart a bit, but that was made up for by the exceedingly hot temperatures of the hot pool. With little TLC, this place could be even more incredible.
