We have stayed at Motel 6, Rexburg several times. The rooms are clean, the staff is always helpful and friendly, the location is a close drive to everything and it feels peaceful. You can’t beat the price! A tip: book well in advance when semesters change, it always fills up.Rooms: The rooms are simple and very clean. There is a bed, big TV at a nice level to watch and small table with 2 chairs. There is a little refrigerator in the room.Safety: It feels very safe.Walkability: There is nothing to walk to from this location, you will need to have a car.Food & drinks: There is no Continental breakfast, however there are some great breakfast places in town.

My family and I stayed here and loved it. The reason why I give it 3 stars is because they don't serve breakfast and they charge to much for the food and drinks they have in the front lobby but the staff are very friendly and they are pet friendly also. And there TV did work the greatest but either but that's okay I guess. And we also enjoyed our stay and the rooms are very clean also

My wife and I were moving to the area but our apartment wasn't ready yet. I called on the phone to reserve the unit and showed up (around) 2:30am. Payed, signed something, and got the keys. Got to put room and it looked okay. This isn't a luxury hotel by any reach. The bed seemed clean, but the sheets had some stains. The top sheet also had some stains. The shower curtain wasn't the best. Didn't do a great job of keeping water in the tub. There shower head seemed to have enough pressure to cut through metal, I don't think an ounce of dead skin was left on my body. Felt kind of good honestly. It was a quiet and physically safe place to crash for the night.

It looks like this place used to be better at providing basic service. All the ratings of 3 or above seen to be from 6 yrs ago. Be prepared for most things to be missing some of which you can ask for (shampoo, toilet paper, clean towels, garbage bags replacements) other things you'll have to get on your own (hot chocolate, dog poop bags, ice. Come on, really you can't even have those). Maybe the dirt in the hallway could get vacuumed up after 4 days? Maybe my room could be clean. Some of the front desk staff were very helpful. I would give them 4 stars. However, housekeeping gets zero stars. Maybe there are not enough staff or maybe managers are not present? Whatever the reason things don't seem to be getting done as they should be.Noteworthy details: Provided dog treats and welcomed my pet.

The good:- EXTREMELY friendly service-Cheap.- Has what's needed for a night's stay on the road, including a washer and dryer with soap available for purchase at the front desk.- Right off the highway, but surprisingly, it's not too noisy.- Close to gas and 10 minutes away from a walmart for travel essentials.- The room was clean enough, it's not a 5-star stay where everything is scrubbed spotless. The linens, floor, toilet are clean. The con:Metal bedframes have sharp corners, you really need to watch as you step around them. (Hello bruised shins!) Would love to see them changed to something safer, especially if someone travels with kids or pets.- People slammed doors and it's very audible, could use the thingies that stop that from happening I suppose.

Our family is among those who were very satisfied with this motel 6. We stayed two days there. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The towels were clean and there were a plenty of them. The microwave, fridge and hairdryer worked well, as well as a tv. The freeway didn’t bother us. Maybe, because we came from a very loud city where we sleep listening cops on cars and helicopters chasing criminals on a nonstop basis. So, we slept two nights at this motel with open windows and traffic wasn’t annoying at all. No loud neighbors were on those days. For us, personally, there was nothing wrong to take away any star from my review. And myself, I divide places to those I will come back or I will not come back. I would definitely come back to this motel if I need to stay anywhere on my way to Yellowstone National Park.

The room was dirty, not sure how they have all these positive reviews for cleanliness. Our bathroom was not clean, the shower was beyond filthy. Two of the towels were clearly not washed one with body hair in it. The hallway smelled of mold, dogs barked all night, and the locals were speeding and stunting on the road right beside the hotel.

Very clean, nice people at the front desk. Well kept inside and out. My only complaint would be with furnishings. Hospital like in nature very plainly and cheaply done.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good my stay was, considering I already have a hard time being away from the security of my partner and my own bed. When I arrived the staff was friendly and very accommodating when I asked to switch rooms from the first floor to the second. Again, I felt more secure being on the second floor as a lone female traveler- sucks it has to be that way for women- but regardless, I felt much safer. The room was very clean, as were the linens and towels and I’m a stickler for cleanliness. The water was hot and the water pressure was strong, so strong I had to cover my nipples to keep them from being battered. The walls were pretty thin, I could hear the guest in the room next to me from time to time, but nothing a little white noise couldn’t fix. The bed was alright, my body felt fine each morning after waking up so no big complaints. If I ever return to Rexburg I’ll most likely stay here again.

It's located on a highway so very good for a stop over. Looks like whole motel was renovated. It was cheap too. There is all I have to say on the good side. Now the cons:- bed was very dirty, the cover was never washed. The sheets had yellow stains and black hair under and over the sheet. Same goes for pillows, so we ended up sleeping all dressed and on top of it in our sleeping bags like we did in forest.- very thin walls and windows, we could hear all night people walking, talking, slamming doors and listening to music both inside and outside at the parking lot.- room appeared to be clean overall, but we had some random bugs on the floor.- towels were dirty in stains- no shower gel or shampoo- toilet seat was broken and sliding under your butt 😀- not enough towels, only one set provided. This experience has set us back as we couldn't fully recharge for long drive.Rooms: Renovated rooms, could be so much better if service was fixed

I don’t want to say that the hotel is bad. We had 12 hours on the road and a stop to rest and sleep was necessary. The hotel indicated that it was renovated, but I think a clean room is better than a quick renovation. The bed was all stained, the towels were stained and torn. the toilet is dirty. Soap, shampoo at the front desk - I had to go downstairs to get the soap and shampoo and go back to the room. The bed does not match the room description, pillows are small and thick too, there was no blanket to cover. No hair dryer either! Coffee is like water with a coffee smell. The price of the room is nice, but I will not stay there again. only Nice guys at the front desk!

For a cheap stay, this Motel 6 delivered well. It seemed quite new. Motel 6 doesn't have a lot of frills. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. I appreciated the quiet a/c. I'm a fan of the laminate flooring in the room. I knew it was clean unlike carpeted hotel rooms which you know are always hiding loads of dirt and grime. They only offered soap -no shampoo or lotion-which was perfectly fine. In the lobby there were snacks to purchase. The television was nice with plenty of viewing options. It was just fine for my family of eight. (We had two rooms.) One star off because the first room we were given hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant.

I am only rating this motel a 4 star due to the front desk girl Marie and the fact the rooms this time were amazing. But with Marie she is always going way above and beyond especially for the guest and the crew we’ve noticed over the times we’ve stayed here. I never once saw her not doing something or helping the crew she’s always on the go, go she’s always cleaning, making cards for the people coming or she’s always doing something I hardly ever see her on her phone unlike the other front desk person Dalin he’s always on his phone and seems annoyed with the guest but with her she’s always doing something. Another thing is Marie, with her is she’s always cleaning the lobby, restocking it or doing inventory and it always looks amazing after she gets done plus smells amazing I don’t know what she uses but it smells like home half the time other times we’ve come and the lobby just looks disgusting not clean and very unwelcoming. We’ve also noticed with her when she’s not in the lobby she does the laundry or out helping housekeepers when there is another front desk person, cause we see her sometimes through the hall way or the windows doing laundry. It all just depends on the day we’ve noticed but she always seems happy to help. She’s also very talkative and nice she’s always fun to talk to especially about animals, vehicles and states she’s been to but the most favorite thing we’ve noticed with her to talk about is classic vehicles her eyes get so big and her smile widens especially if you show her photos of the classics that you own like we did because, now days most adults don’t even know what a classic is but with her, she wants to learn more and she enjoys talking about them because when she had checked us in she was quick but she had a full conversation with us about classics cause she drives a 5speed standard but while she was talking to us she had everything ready for us and it was quick so we can go to our rooms. We didn’t wait for cards to be made or ask what room we’d be in either cause she called us ahead of time and asked our preference which was very nice so when we got there she had it did and done which was the fastest we’ve ever been checked in so thank you for that. Now the others they don’t ask they just stick us in a room and take a while to get the cards done. But overall marie is always fun to see for us especially in the mornings or afternoon with her cheerful attitude and greeting she always asks us if there is anything that the motel needs to improve, if there is any recommendations of places that we should see or go to, her main go to is big Juds’s she had amazing things to say on that food joint which we went to and it was amazing😍 best food we’ve had for a long time from a food place. She also recommend the Christmas river, the label Lake (ice palace), mountain river ranch and a few other places to do during the winter months here with family. This girl though is a damn hard worker and is amazing. Now on the rooms they been amazing this go around last time we came our room looked like someone stayed in before we got there cause the bed was a mess, the bathroom was a mess the floor wasn’t swept so we did ask to go to another room which at the time was also Marie and she apologized and did give us a new room which was more nicer like the bathroom looked amazing, the bed was amazingly tucked in tight and looked like the room was done that day. Which just meant two different people did the rooms differently which is okay but the one who did the room prior should take lessons from the one who made our room that looked amazing and do better at rooms because nobody wants a room like that. So currently they have very good hardworking people there this week who actually love their job and not there for a check.-Dee J.

Do NOT stay here. While the overall stay might be alright, the management treats their employees terribly. The employees, who make a fraction of what the managers do, work incredibly hard to make the experience good for guests. However, when a concern is brought up from the employees to management, the employee will get fired. This has happened twice this week to 2 great employees that were only doing their job and were trying to improve their work environment. However, because management is only there about 5 hours a week, they don’t care about the environment and would rather get rid of unsettled employees that bring up genuine concerns about ~illegal~ activity. The men who own this property, as well as the Motel 6 properties in St Anthony, Rigby, and Idaho Falls, do not deserve your money. Go somewhere else.

The stay was great. Meets the basic needs of a clean place to shower and sleep. Nothing fancy about the room, it has the atmosphere of a college dorm. I like the fact the floor is laminate and not carpet that has stains from who knows what on it. Room was quiet, I did not hear any other guest. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well.

What do you want in a hotel room? This place is clean, close to BYUI, and the showers are awesome! Most high-end hotels restrict shower water. Not this Motel 6. The pressure was as good as home, which is high pressure for me. What a pleasure! One more thing, I like how room access is inside here instead of your door opening up to the parking lot.

By far the best Motel 6 I've ever stayed in. It far exceeded my expectations because I've stayed in some before that weren't so good. This one was clean, the staff was great including housekeeping. Only downside was no microwave for a person like me who could use one while staying so long, but that was just a small problem, not really taking away from the room. OH and I LOVED the full shower without a bath. It was great!

The room was good. The towels were too rough and the fact that you only serve coffee in the morning was disappointing! I have been to other hotels for $50/night and they have served a breakfast. It would have been nice to offer something. I understand not having carpet but it makes the room colder and sterile so you need more warm decor in the rooms.

The location was fine. The room itself was basic, but clean. We really wanted a place to have a good sleep. Unfortunately, the laundry was down the hall and there were people doing laundry until 1 am and talking. Maybe close the laundry at 11? Also, while the laminate floor is great, it isn't so great if the ceiling isn't insulated well, as we could hear our upstairs neighbours moving chairs around until 1 am. The door to the room wasn't the best fit either since sound kept coming through whenever someone spoke or walked by. The bed felt like it had plastic on it, so crinkled every time that we rolled over. We did not sleep well. One of the towel racks fell off the wall while removing a towel. Needed to be attached better.

Very clean and affordable. I’d give it a 4 star review if I didn’t have to interact with the staff. The overnight staff was very friendly but the morning staff (9am) was not friendly or welcoming. they said basically nothing to me, no “sorry for that” or “how was your stay?” Or “have a great day”. Just lacking basic manners. The beds were very crinkly and the walls to the hallway were paper thin. Shampoo was not provided. It was also not clear if breakfast was provided.

Staff was friendly. This hotel is the basic, no frills hotel. No microwave, no iron or ironing board, no hair dryer, no shampoo, beds were metal frames, no furniture except table and 2 chairs, no elevator -- so I would have thought the price would have been lower. I have stayed in much nicer hotels for less. The room was very cold when we entered however the heater warmed the room in a reasonable amount of time. (It was 5 degrees outside.)I did believe the room was clean - which is VERY important to me.It was close to where we needed to be in the morning.
