Always have had good experiences here and I go often.I do wish it was more organized. The prices are amazing- thrift stores anywhere else are so expensive so if you are used to shopping in the west at DI stores I suppose some complain about the "high" prices here, but honestly DI prices are SO cheap! Try shopping at a regular thrift store out of the west- then you'll find over priced items.

This Deseret Industries is located in Rexburg Idaho. It's a nice thrift store with a surprisingly good selection of clothes, kitchen ware, yard stuff, tables, couches, and a lot of books and electronics. Most everything is cheap and easy to get ahold of. It's a wonderful place with kind workers.

I love this place. I got a really good sound system for dirt cheap. Sure, my speakers are 45 years old and probably need some maintenance, but they were $7 a pop.

somethings are priced well others not so much. Not all shoes are in the same condition. And to ask $6.00 for a pair of Walmart shoes that are falling apart is not right. I was hoping to get some dress up clothes for my girls but $3 for a tutu that is from the $1 Store?? They need to have a few people that only do pricing. That know brands and quality. Some clothes have stains them or holes and they still want $5 for that shirt. Rexburg is has a lot of low income families and students. I don't feel like the pricing is fair on a lot of items. I tried to find a way to contact management but haven't found an email.

For a company that gets everything for free they sure try to rip you off I was in there today and they had a small tub of lego/ duplo bricks they wanted $100 for so I asked if it was a typo or a mis print because I know that happens sometimes and one of the associates quite rudely asserts it's not a typo even though there was a bin of what appeared to be Legos next to it for $8

Someone seriously needs to hire a new person to price items at this store. I have been to several DIs throughout Utah and Idaho, and this one has the highest prices out of all the others I have been to. Even compared to the DI in Idaho Falls, the same item will be half the price in Idaho Falls than in Rexburg. I think it's just frustrating to me when I end up spending more money on used items than if I were to buy it new from Walmart. It seems like every time I go into that store, I hear others getting frustrated and saying similar things. It is also frustrating to me on how inconsistent the pricing is. For example, I found a used paperback poetry book for $.50 (and the original price was $1.45). And that's fine. But right next to it was a book by the same author, and the same size, yet it cost $1.50. So at the register, I asked why that was, and if I could get both books for $0.50? The manager that came over said she would meet me in the middle and do a $1 for each one ... Which was confusing to me because it would have been $2 anyways? It's not so much the cost I care about, but the principle of it. They should at least price less than the original price, and keep their pricing consistent.

Thank goodness a goodwill opened up here. Sometimes you'll find a good deal here, but more often than not you'll find something in used condition for the same price as you could get it new. I've found plenty of Walmart brand T-shirts priced higher than they cost at Walmart. The other day I found a game you could get for $20 on Amazon priced at $75 here.Be careful buying dishes here too. A lot of vintage dishes have lead based paints and DI doesn't do anything to check. I found a recalled dishes set the other day and told one of the managers it was lead based and he grilled me about it for so long before deciding to go talk to another manager about whether or not they can sell it.DI used to be great, but it seems like they've grown accustomed to not having any competition here in Rexburg. It's a pretty bad sign when a thrift store consistently tries to sell used goods for more money than they cost brand new.

Good thrift store with a wide selection. They keep it pretty clean inside. The donation drop off is always super fast.

Above average thrift store but I have liked it less and less over the last 5 years. I always check here first before I go to Facebook market place

Worst management I have ever seen. They treat all of their employees like garbage, always being condescending and rude without offering any means to help solve personal issues. Very unprofessional, and I am very disappointed to see this behavior from an LDS institution. This isn’t just a one time thing. I’ve seen it many times… I feel bad for the employees whom they abuse. Do better.

Honestly, I adore this store. But the resellers are allowed to get away with too much. I waited for them to bring out the racks or shoes, and before I could even get to them a reseller had taken over half the pairs and dumped them into his cart. He took them to a far corner or the store and started going through them, looking each of them up to see which pairs were worth anything. That shouldn’t be allowed, it’s absolutely unfair to people who are actually at DI to buy things for their family.

Alot of good reviews but kind of confused ....comparing to the other DI stores between here and Layton Utah this one has some of the highest prices I have ever seen in a thrift store. It looks nice but not sure if it's worth traveling too. Best of luck to the local area.

Like all thrift stores the DI can be hit and miss. The selection is fairly decent and has a variety of styles and products available. Prices are competitive and typically good value. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the store is well kept. Generally speaking the store is good, the staff are good and the products are mostly good.

This Deseret Industries has a big selection of clothes for both men and women. There is a lot of speakers in the electronic section; as well as quite a bit of old electronics. Mostly good prices, but some are a bit pricey. Every so often they have sales that are pretty great! Most of the employees are friendly and helpful, sometimes they may be having a bad day or something, but overall their pretty good.

Book selection is very good at this location. Cool clothes are harder to find. Lots of suits, slack, button shirts. Always clean. Always great service. I purchased a bed frame and they were super helpful in loading it and making sure it had all the pieces. Also a good place to get dishes. Lots and lots of dishes.

This thrift store is awesome! We had so many cool finds. It’s clean and organized, fairly priced, and the staff is always friendly. I would recommend checking it out.

Service is fine but prices are terrible. If you’re looking to buy a cracked laundry basket for $5 when you can get a brand new one at Walmart for less, go here. Dishes, which are priced $2-$3 at DI are cheaper at Target. Most items are poor quality and are priced like new. Clothes are overpriced for the quality. Go to the Family Crisis Center Thrift Store instead! Way nicer and better organized and much more reasonable prices. I have no idea how DI moves inventory. Everyone I know complains about their prices.

I can almost always find a good deal here on what I'm looking for. I've been kind of disappointed with the baby clothes though. The prices are really inconsistent. Some onesies are $3 while others are $1, even if they are the same size and have similar details. Also, I've found that this DI is a little more pricey than the one in Idaho Falls. But it still has great prices and great finds!

The whole "appointment" thing during COVID was weird, and caused me to throw out stuff I would eagerly have donated. But I know they were short-staffed. The store inside is immaculate. A surprising percentage of brand-new clothes. I'm new to DI (having lived outside the West for decades) so I expected a Goodwill-sort-of thrift store. This was more like a thrift store in the corner of a Ross Dress For Less. Maybe they just got a good deal on a big volume of new clothes. Anyway, I'm glad they're there. Just not quite as interesting to poke around as would be an equally sized thrift shop.

I usually only buy books from DI. I am a big book buy and have probably purchased 100+ books from here. Love the wide selection. The large LDS population provides for the books I look for at the most affordable rate you can find most of the time. It is one of the better locations I have been too.

Lots of great stuff! Everything is clean and organized. The clerk even checked my CDs to make sure they were in the cases when we were checking out. One was missing, so they saved me some money and disappointment there!

The new manager prices everything too high and won’t budge on anything . . . even if it’s a 15$ lamp that costs 9$ brand new at Walmart. This D.I. has gone downhill and it’s sad. They’re supposed to help the community out with low priced items, but instead we get this.

Great store for buying pretty much anything. Their electronics are pretty dated like 90s and early 2000s, but they're usually priced ok. I've never bought clothes here but they have a large selection. They also have a good supply of books that are cheap. If you're looking for any LDS books come here before going to deseret book. The selection is a little small compared to other D.I.s that I have been too, but you can find some good gems. The most I've spent is $3 on a church history book that would have been $40 at deseret book. The cover is a little mangled, but it's worth saving $37. The staff is also super nice!

Most of the items put out are affordable and in great shape. The employees are usually pretty helpful. The layout of the store is also straightforward. On top of these, there is just a general clean, friendly environment.

This location is amazing!! Seriously they have the nicest name brand clothing and shoes if you are willing to look. We moved out of the area and I have been to dozens of thrift stores that just can’t compare to the DI!

You can get some great finds here! I got some Ralph Lauren, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, and other top brand shirts for like 5 bucks each. It was sweet. It is based on people's donations though, so there isn't always great stuff.

I hit this DI up everytime I visit my sister in Rexburg! Love this place. You can find good stuff. The only complaint is that the pricing is often hit or miss. You can find 2 of the same thing with a major difference in pricing. That being said if you find a deal, it's a deal!!Sometimes the management will adjust the price. Not always though. In general, I reccomend.

Its actually pretty great honestly. I have gotten so many deals out of this it is quite strange. I was able to build a gaming computer for my brother thats been doing everything hes wanted it to. From this store we picked up an i5 4570 processor with a lenovo motherboard with wifi onboard, 4 gigs of ddr3 ram and some random graphics card. We added a power supply ram and a better graphics card and bam. Working computer for under $100
