Came to this location and Aj Wilson the manager on shift offered us a fair solution and was kind and helpful. Will make the drive out to this Ace (an extra 15 minutes away) for all my future needs. Went in looking to buy a cordless weed blower, had one of the staff members approach me asking if I need any help, he proceeded to give me his knowledge on leaf blowers, and turns out he gave an excellent opinion on what to buy, great help.

I previously left a review for a situation that was very unlike the normal care the employees give. I was contacted right after by Dan their GM. When I was able to call back I was informed Dan wasn't in the store but his assistant AJ took over. AJ handled my previous complaint above and beyond what I was expecting. Cudos to Seright's Ace for going the extra mile to make things right, they obviously care about their customers.

I want to give a shout out to Dan, the store manager at the Rathdrum Ace Hardware.He understands high level customer service and overcoming obstacles to solve a customer problem. I had an issue with the battery on my 3 year old EGO lawnmower.Much of the issue was supply chain, beyond the control of the local retailer. I contacted Ace via their website and Dan personally got back to me by phone. He ultimately got me a new lawnmower which was above and beyond what the manufacturer was willing to do re their warranty. I was super impressed with how he handled things in such a calm and professional way. I was once the president of the Spokane downtown business association and I have been exposed to alot of owners and managers. Few have impressed me more than Dan and his willingness to “get things right.” 5 stars!!!

Just moved into the neighborhood. I needed a snow blower and after researching the best place to buy it I found out thr price is the same anywhere so decided to give the local little guy the business rather then some big box company. Glad I did. Not only did they deliver it for free they filled it up with gas and gave me a tutorial on how to use it. Thanks Jake. Since I've been in a few times for other things. Everyone is extremely helpful and nice. I will be giving them much if my future business.

I went to Ace to buy a chainsaw in a ice storm for Christmas and my windshield wiper broke on the drivers side. Not only did Dave Badore help me with my many questions and purchases he went out in the storm to replace my wipers. Thank you so much Dave For going that extra mile. Excellent customer service and hire!

The customer service at this store is phenomenal. I’d like it on the record that I have purchased an item from this store in the past (which was a good experience) but my review is based on more recent experiences I’ve had by going in to help socialize my 6 month old puppy who is afraid of men. I felt silly going there for the sole purpose of training my dog but I felt completely welcomed. Not only did the staff remember him by name on our second day but they welcomed him with smiling faces and gentle pets (&treats!). One of the male employees (I’m so sorry I don’t know his name) went out of his way to help make sure Dozer felt safe and comfortable and I feel like we made huge progress with his fear of men. I know this isn’t a pet store and it’s not their priority or job to help my dog but I felt just as important as any other customer there and due to that welcomed feeling they have gained me as a loyal customer and a strong supporter. I love this store.

I don't write reviews very often but this place is top notch! I bought a pretty expensive zero turn mower from them and ended up finding it for $500 less at a different Ace Hardware in Spokane a few weeks later. I was going to return the mower and buy it for the cheaper price at the other Ace Hardware. However after calling and talking to the assistant manager AJ, he said they could give me $500 in store credit instead of having to hassle with returning it! I thought that was very generous of them and it saved me a ton of hassle/time. In addition, all the staff there seemed really friendly and AJ was awesome to work with during the initial mower purchase/store credit conversations.

I am re-writing my review with a more positive outlook. I had originally given them 1 star and have come to the realization that I was wrong.The manager has been quite helpful and the employees are knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable and Ace is an asset to our community. I will shop here more often.

The Rathdrum store has lots of stuff to help you fix, maintain, or build other stuff. Employees are there to help amateur customers find more stuff. Employees have their good days and bad days because they are not robots and are humans. If this store doesnt have what your looking for or the employees bug you, then it sounds like a YOU problem, and take your problems else where. Review over.

Once again Seright's gave me superb customer service, which even included a brief personal story and honest review of a locally designed and manufactured personal snow plow. When I asked the very cheerful and polite cashier if I could use one of my almost 3 year old discount coupon, I actually got to use 2 of them!! I'll always be a happy Seright's customer, they're great and friendly folks.

Store was very clean and organized. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. It did have a corporate atmosphere though. The greeter was very personable and friendly. She did need training on product location and inventory however. Over all the experience was good.

No wonder the Ace in Rathdrum, Idaho were voted 2019 business of the year. Their customer service is phenomenal. We called them to fill up our propane tanks . We were about 3 minutes to the store when & were needed our propane tanks filled. The temperature was going to be down to 15 degrees. We were a couple minutes late & they waited for us to get there. Thank you so much for caring & now our family will be toasty in our fifth wheel for the next days of very low temperatures 😍

There are a couple of employees who carry the load with great customer service. Today, for the first time I had the audacity to return an item. When the "assistant manager" realized it was a return, his face soured and he asked for my Ace Rewards number. I told him I didn't have one but I did have my receipt for the unopened perfectly packaged $5 cable cover plate that I had purchased two days earlier. Again, with a bad attitude he informed me that my return would be "hassle free" if I had an Ace number. I told him a perfect item with a receipt should be "hassle free". The Ace Rewards program is shoved down your throat at check out. I know the employees are acting in response to corporate demand but it's offensive comrade. I don't want a text, call, email, or mailing from you. Knowing that your staff will try to intimidate me if I return items in the future has caused me to reconsider where I will spend my money.

I'm done shopping here forever. I only made purchases here because it was convenient and close proximity to home. Since it's one of the most expensive hardware stores, I try to use their coupons when possible. So after being denied the use of one of their coupons due to an error in their own product pricing, I decided to return everything on that receipt and call it quits. That's not the small town customer experience I expected.

I am bothered by the way they send you coupons that are not valid until a week or two later. You have to read the fine print and go back a couple of times... I realize that they are not the ones who make those decisions - corporate makes the coupon policies, I am sure. Nevertheless, it is what it is...

This business will always do what they can to answer questions or make suggestions in solving any home repair problem. I recently had an associate help me for almost 1/2 hour to solve a problem which required a 20 cent washer.

There is a HUGE lack of training by management at this store. There are on average of 3-4 people on the floor who really don’t know a lot about fixing things or general hardware/plumbing. When headed to checkout get ready to wait for at least 10 minutes. Cashier NEVER seems to have the ability to scan an order in and always needs help from the manager. And no one on the floor can see that there is 7 people in line because they are usually not that observant. I HATE THIS STORE and will drive 8 miles out of my way to avoid it most days and I only live one block away. You’ve been warned. P. S. They usually close the doors before the stated closing time on the hours placard.

We went here Sunday, 3/26 at around 2:30. We were greeted right away by a freindly staff member who showed us exactly what we needed, and things were going great. We made it up to the register where a gal started being a total drama qheen about us having latex gloves (we were buying leather gloves, not latex - not that it matters). She was incredibly rude - to us and another checker, telling her to check us out on a different register that wasnt even open. We felt bad for the second gal, as the first one was such a jerk to her (and us). She glared at as from about 15 feet away - like we had a horrible disease - and nagged at the other gal. Totally ridiculous! In a small town with 2 harware stores, we will never go back to this one! ...and the gal with the latex glove issue needs to be fired for her behavior towards her customers and co-workers. So incredibly unprofessional and rude!

I was at the Post Falls store and they did not have what I needed. They checked online and Rathdrum store had 2. The associate suggested I call the Rathdrum store before heading out there. I was put on hold as they looked for an associate, the call was reverted back to the front line, I was put on hold again. Anyway I described what I needed to the associate who answered the call and his response was, “I THINK I got some of that.” Before I could say anything else he says, “aha ha ha bye!” I suppose I’ll look elsewhere.

Luckily this small town Ace Hardware has two things going for it.....helpful staff and good selection. They almost always have what I need, they are always friendly, and they also have good sales on items I need.
