Leslie is very friendly and super helpful!!!! She was polite when I called and happily walked to the shelf to tell me exactly what they had in stock before I drove down. There price in the store was cheaper than online - - - and more importantly they had it for immediate use. I believe Leslie also stated they give a military and first responders discount. Outstanding customer experience.

I always have a great day when I go to Rathdrum Country Store. All of the kids and adults who work there have all the answers for any question I might have, the chick's I picked up there were in perfect health and they helped me find the right food for them to help them grow big and beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are AWESOME! They are always willing to answer any questions I have and are exceptionally knowledgeable. Didn’t try to upsell me based on my own ignorance, but gave me solid advice and direction and pointed me to the products I needed. The young man working was patient AND carried my purchase out. Also love that you can preorder your chicks and they carry lots of varieties! My new favorite store!

I recently purchased a black lab puppy and came in to the country store to get Puppy stuff. And they had this puppy starter kit that I bought that I give 5 stars. Every item in there is of utmost quality. And would definitely recommend that to help your puppy start out his new life. Also I refuse to shop at places like Walmart and Petco who have put places like the country store out of business. The backbone of our community is small mom and pop stores like this And I ask that you give them a try before you go to the big stores Because they are genuine good old down-to-earth country folk and I love those people there. And guess what they actually care about the well being of you and your animal!

This locally owned and operated feed store is just that, a feed store. You won't find much inventory beyond feed. However the range and variety of animal feed is impressive.The staff are knowledgeable and personable, being the backbone of long time customer loyalty.The store isn't dirty, but it isn't particularly clean either.Parking is adequate, and easily accessed.Prices here are about 20% higher across the board on everything when compared to North 40 in CdA, 20 minutes away.If feeding equines to chickens and rabbits they most likely have your feed product. Just be prepared to pay a premium for personalized attention and local availability.

The store rook me right back to rhe 60's. Staff greeted us as we walked in. They let us know, that should we need anything, they were rhere ro help. Great store, good ambiance, helpfull staff.

The staff is very helpful. I appreciate their knowledge and support in helping me get started in my adventure in chicken farming two years ago. Additionally, their expertise in determining the right chicks for my needs (laying, free-ranging, stewing, etc), feed, supplies for my laying hens has made my job rather effortless. I'll be purchasing my second batch of chicks in a couple of weeks!

For a smaller store they have everything that the backyard farmer needs for their flock. Great variety of feeds and bedding all the necessary treatments and super knowledgeable staff that always has a smile. Hometown feel! Much appriciated.

This place is always friendly & helpful. They carry your heavy stuff out to your truck. There's always something to look at (chicks, turkeys, antiques, rabbits, etc) A good place with good people.

Nice enough people, I like that they carry Kaniksu chicken feed. But I hate that they keep a hen and rooster in a 4 sq ft cage, all day, every day, for their entire lives. When I inquired about it, the shop owner (I’m assuming that’s who she is) proudly responded “Yep! They stay in there all day, every day!”.Why? What’s the point in keeping animals in a cage so small they can’t even move? I think it’s cruel treatment of animals & can’t get myself to support the shop anymore.

Everything about this store and their other store in Oits orchards in the best. If they don't have what you want, they will get it for you. They can fill ANY need you have. Both locations are one stop shopping for animal needs. They even delivered to my farm. I was tight on time because I was leaving for a horse show. When they found that out they offered to bring it to me.. That my friend is total customer service and support.
