Lots of inexpensive stuff. Lots of stuff that you can’t find anywhere else. A bit cluttered inside and out. Some things are more expensive than Walmart… you can find good deals if you spend the time to comparative shop. This is definitely not my go-to place in Preston. If you need to kill some time, this place is kind of an experience… I’m really not all that experienced in these stores, so it might be a really good one…

It's nice that there is a place in town that is open on Sundays. There are usually good sales and prices and I found they rotate stuff enough to keep it interesting.Staff is pretty helpful for the most part.UPDATE 3.31.2024Ok, this place just keeps getting stranger. One of the employees all of a sudden has an Australian accent and she swears its real and whenever I go in there at least one employee is standing outside smoking.

I like family dollar but I had bad service in there I was trying to find something and then the manager wouldn't stop looking at me weird and wouldn't stop following me making me feel uncomfortable and then she said if I wasn't going to buy anything then I had to leave if the manager is like that they should put somebody else that knows how to not be rude and disrespectful

The manager lady kicked me and my friend out for walking around we did nothing horrible service they should find a new manager that knows how to not be rude to people.

Easy to find everything you are looking for. Quality isn't the best, but you get what you pay for. Staff is always willing to assist and make friendly conversation. Great location right in town for easy access.

I love family dollar! I go all the time!But today I went and had a HORRIBLE interaction with the manager! She was so rude and VERY unprofessional!!! I heard that she’s had many complaints! If she’s going to be like that they need to replace her with someone that ACTUALLY had customer service skills and not a bad attitude

Remodel made the stoor cluttered. Staff is great, manager works her butt off trying to stay on top of the crapton of stuff sent in daily.

5/19/2023. Still a mess. Asked for help pricing 15lb bags of fertilizer as i am literally getting shoulder surgery in 2 weeks, i told this to the csr. Girl acted put out, gave me wrong price on 1 of 2. On 3rd and 4th i asked, she said i'd have to take it up front. I said well i can't carry it at all because of my shoulder. Finally said i guess i will go outside and find a cart. Not at all helpful. I don't know why i go to this store.!!!!! 5YEARS AGO went into the Preston Idaho store, big mistake. I keep thinking they will ACTUALLY get inventory on shelves. Nope they have it in boxes snd carts snd scattered so you can't even push your cart thru store. IT'S ALWAYS THIS WAY! I will go to the Franklin Idaho store from now on. Clean, well stocked, and organized!

I Will Pay for your gas if you would not give them the time of day or any of your pay to prove a point. If you are a local and need something think twice about were you spend your money cause this company abuses there employees uses them to the fullest then to be be trespassing because I did not return keys when I was sick and had a doctor's note. And even after I return them I am still not allowed in any of them so if you remember or know anything of the situation and you can shop somewhere else instead of giving them satisfaction that would be great.

Great low prices, well organized so things can be found quickly, and good selection. The staff could be better at locating things when you need help and feels a bit crowded but still worth it.

Very friendly customer service. And lots to choose from. Only have one complaint about this store - their greeting card section is very disorganized which made it impossible to find what you need. Finally gave up looking and went somewhere else. This has happened twice.

I enjoy shopping there and the people that work there especially Mindi and Patty they always greet you and are always willing to lend a helping hand to make sure that you find everything you need and if they don't have it will help you find out who does. Is a wonderful place to shop and enjoy all the people who work there

This is a great place for someone that likes the browse window shop. But even though they got her less stuff there. There still larger times don't have what I need. But I always seem to manage coming out with an arm for staff the bought. Lol. Lol. Lol.

Always a big mess with merchandise in boxes everywhere. There was a box cutter knife laying on top of a box where a kid could easily have access to. Also, wasn’t open until about 4 hours after they were supposed to be. I like this store but they really need to clean it before someone gets hurt.

Almost every time I've been in this store within the last couple months it's a mess products on the floor items waiting to be stocked on shelves can't push a cart around without running into things thus store was better before it was remodeled

I have to update my review. They have recently hired new people making it more pleasant to be there, the aisles are cleaned up and shopping is enjoyable.

The Preston store is so dirty and has been for a long time! Please get someone in there and clean it up! There are boxes everywhere in the isles, hangers and other garbage all over the floor, and even around and behind the cash registers are very unorganized and dirty!! We need this store but it needs to be cleaned up!!!!

This place is ok. Props to all the people that work on holidays. But some of the older ladies there are so rude and not friendly and lack in customer service. Don’t work here if you don’t like to talk to people.

Okay selection of merchandise. Slow checkouts, most times I have to wait in line for someone to come to the register. There is one lady that is always very friendly and always at the register, when she's not there I typically know I'll be waiting a while.

The store was horribly filthy clothing was all over the floors where you had to move it so you didn't step on it there was a lot of merchandise in the wrong spots the only nice thing in the store was the cashier she was very pleasant

Iike this place, but I am tired of going in there and there is nothing on the shevles it is boxes on the floor or on carts, you can not get down the iles because of boxes and boxes and more boxes of stuff all over the place.
