They are the best with animals and people. My poor cat good attacked and the saw him right away. Took great care to make sure that my boy wasn't going to be more uncomfortable then he had to be.And I can I tell you for an emergency (or what I feel is an emergency) the cost didn't hurt as bad as it could have. If I move away I would still take any furever freind to them.Thank you for the love in my boy. My fur buddy is doing much better

Was visiting from northern Idaho when my dachshunds back went out- they were willing to stay after hours for us to drive up there and I’m so thankful- they were able to get her medicine and within 48 hours she was a whole new dog again. Thank you!

They're very professional, but yet down to Earth people who are most excellent in dealing with many types of animals. I trust them implicitly with my furry babies. I also love how economical they are and how easy it is to get your pet seen especially in emergency and serious life threatening situations. And I hear they make trips each year to our town's city hall to help make sure rabies shots are updated and given while city hall updates city tags. They're truly full service and a wonderful veterinarian office to help care for your animal babies.

Have been going here for years now. They are always nice and friendly. Prices are normally the going rate. I have never thought they were trying to add things to get the price up. They always sound very knowledgeable up-to-date on the latest techniques and troubles animals have. We are happy to have them and the care they give our animals.

Brought our cat in after an emergency visit up in post falls and was told to get connected with a surgical specialist in Spokane. He got shot and the bullet shattered his femur. The specialist told us they were too far out to take him and to contact a local clinic for a last ditch effort for someone to do an amputation. Luckily, I called North Palouse clinic Monday morning, and they got me in THE SAME DAY. They treated us respectfully and patiently and took our cat in right away. Dr. Carnahan not only took care of him on the same day but also took her own images and decided that she could save his leg. No amputation needed. It was 1/4 of the cost that we were quoted from the specialist, for a procedure far more complicated than an amputation. You honestly pray for people to help in times of need and Dr.Carnahan and her staff helped us beyond what we could've hoped for.

I have been looking for a good veterinarian since the day I brought home my puppy, almost a year ago. I am pleased to say that I have finally found one!! I love this veterinarian office! They are very thorough and good at what they do. They are very good with all the animals and they're very good with all of the humans too! 😉 Great people! I could go on for days about them but I'm sure you get the point. 😁 10 out of 10 for sure!

I'll be looking for a new vet if possible and use them as a last resort. Took my goat in for pneumonia and knew he needed a shot of Draxxin. They told me they didn't hear him cough once and didn't hear ragged breath. They also told me his blood levels showed low Magnesium, but no mention of how low or how to correct. After acting like I was overreacting, they took an xray and confirmed pneumonia. Not 5 minutes on the ground after I brought him home, he had a coughing fit and I could hear ragged breath still. It was only after consulting with another vet that he told me some of his symptoms are due to low Mg and I needed to supplement. So $300+ later I got a diagnosis I already knew and zero help on how to solve an issue THEY pointed out.

They drove over an hr through a snow storm to put our dog to sleep for us so he wouldn't have to have another bad night. They were kind and made it as easy as possible for us- considering the situation. I'm so very appreciative of them.

This is the best vet around! They saved my beloved cat's life several years ago, and went above and beyond to do so. Dr. Anders has worked diligently with us to get our dog's seizures under control. They are truly fantastic, and everyone on their staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and caring.

I wanted to establish a vet for my two dogs. I was told about Dr. Sherry's. I brought them in and my visit was nice (It was so we could meet.) I got a rescue dog and took her in too. I Seen Dr. Langworthy. I liked him. He talked and shared info.One later, possibly broke her foot. I called and made an appointment for the next morning. I called when I got there to wait in the car and watched ppl going in and out. I called and said I had been waiting for a hour, they said. Oh we didn't have you on the schedule. I said you did when I got here to check in. Than she said. We were just coming out to get you. What's your name?.Was not happy with that, after sitting there for an hour. Long story short. I was told it would be an hour and a half. I came back. They were all sitting eating. ( Which would be fine, except) I was there for hours. I waited again and just with the visit with Dr. Sherry, I was not happy. They never gave her pain medicine, I left , stopped and had to call and ask if I should have gotten some for her broken foot. I had to go back. It was an all day event. I had left my house at 9:am ,got home after 4 pm. Not right for my fur babies.

This place is amazing. We had an emergency on the 4th of July and called the vet who was on call at a party with friends. She dropped everything and met us there in 20 minutes to run tests on our dog. Lab work was done promptly and results came in all over the place. After calling WSU and pouring over other research, she stayed with us there going over scenarios, possibilities, and running different tests till 1am. There was nothing else we could do so we took our dog home. He didn't make it through the night. It was a shock to all of us but the vet still tried finding answers even after the fact. To say she went above and beyond during a very confusing and sudden hardship to answer our questions and serve our GSD with dignity is an understatement.We had a second dog who was 15 and suffering from kidney failure. Another vet on the team made a house call to put him down in the comfort of our home, in my wife's arms. The vet and his assistant were incredibly gracious and patient. We lost two dogs this year but were incredibly impressed with the people who work at this clinic. It has never struck me as one of those places that offers service after service to increase the bill, but rather gets right to the point and offers candid advice and service. Appreciated them a lot this year.

North Palouse Vet Clinic saved my dog's life. We were camping nearby and she suffered a life-threatening dog bite. Anders was able to save her but no matter the outcome, the skilled care she received and the compassion shown to us by the staff was above and beyond. I don't have the words to express my gratitude for their extraordinary care and skill.

So a recommendation from a friend led me to them. I had a 2 1/2 month old kitten I got before Christmas. They were super nice on the phone and decided to take him in for shots. Then took him back to stay the night and get nudered and front de clawed ( don’t judge) on Wednesday...They called Thursday with an update, that’s was good news obviously and very nice of them and was very appreciated.Anyways Friday I got him when they opened and he was doing very good and very happy and healthy. Took a week to get back to his old self, but had no problems and no issues at all :) happy to say it’s beena week now and he’s loving life and besides being able to clime the curtains he’s exactly the same kitten. They are very good there, they love all pets and treat them like their were one of their own. I could not recommend them enough if your little pet needs anything you need to call them up :) best veterinary experience I’ve ever had.

Took my dog in for a hurt foot and swollen knee joint and I did let them know that he also had a cough. Took X-ray of his foot and they ask if they could take X-Ray of his heart. I said yes, and they had to take another one of his foot they said to get a closer look and zoom in. However the second X-ray was not much better then the first. Told me that my dog had Congestive heart failure and they thought he had bone cancer. Put him on heart medications and some pain medications and put a splint on his leg. The splint came off in about two hours just slide right off. The medications they put him on almost killed my dog he had a reaction and he started to bleed from the rectum and throw up. I was very upset. Called the vet I use to go to and had his stuff sent over. My vet looked at the X-ray and saw no congestive heart failure or heard any noise from his chest he has a heart murmur. The cancer was not cancer it was Arthritis. Called the owner, and ask her why they gave my dog the medications she ( Sherry) stood by her NEW Vet and what she did to my dog and however Sherry did admit that Lindsey made some mistakes... and told me that I was blessed for everyday I get to spend with him. She told me that 3 times. As my dog is in worst condition due to them in and possibly looking at having to put him down. They told me one of the pills was a duretics when I ask which it was not. This vet office is horrible they are very under qualified to really diagnose anything. They have old outdated equipment. So much more to the story, however If I could give them a minus ten I would. Moral of the story take your animal to a better vet. Owners name was Sherry (the one who told me I was blessed for everyday I get to spend with him) the vet that looked at my dog was Lindsey.

Clearly very skilled and compassionate staff. I suggest that Dr. Deanna Orr is best in the business. Approach is most professional and also personal. My Skye and I were treated both with respect and concern. Makes you feel appreciated and the worry of raising a healthy pet is minimized.

There was a previous rating by me, which was incorrectly documented. Please disregard as error.Dear Community,There has been a multitude of animals NPVC has treated for my family. Sam was a Newfoundland that made it to age 15; even though deaf at an early age-amazing he made it that long. He was put down due to cancer, and not being hit by a car. Murphy also a big Newfoundland nearly made it to 10, but his hips gave out. Two Norwegian fjords left NPVC'S watch at nearly 20 and onto great things on the west coast and still are in excellent health.Three cats of which one died at age 13 of a heart attack and whose siblings are nearly 15, healthy and appear to be much younger then their age, also treated by the crew of North Palouse Vetrinary. There were other fjords, now in there 20's, still in excellent health.The thing is , when you look at longevity in animals, it is common to see several things: good: food, genes, owner/vetrinary care and sheer luck. Our family or now others would not have been able to enjoy our fur buddies as long as we all have, with out the support and care of North Palouse Vetrinary ClinicWell done and enough said. Hallie
