I am so glad I found this pet store! After moving here, it was hard to find a pet store that truly has your best interest in mind. I trust the products in this pet store, and the variety is amazing! We started incorporating freeze dried fish into Whiskey’s diet, and his coat is so soft! He is loving the different frozen raw food options and kibble flavors. Also a good chew and toy selection!

I had such a pleasant experience here. Today was my first time in and I was immediately greeted when I walked into the door. The gentleman working noticed me looking at some cat food and asked if I needed any assistance. I was so grateful he noticed me in the middle of a busy hour! I had some questions about my cats diet and believe my pets have some food sensitivities/allergies.The associate helping me answered my questions and hooked me up with some samples to try at home on the house! I have not been treated with such hospitality before!I also love the fact that Mountain Paw Pet Supply is a small locally owned business. The atmosphere is very welcoming and I am so grateful for this company and their knowledge on pet nutrition!Thank you, guys!! I will be returning!!

I came in to shop for my dog Ayla’s birthday. I’m so glad I discovered this amazing pet store! They have everything natural and amazing for our pets and I was able to purchase some high quality treats and 2 sniff mats for enrichment feeding. The staff was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and even sent home treats for Ayla’s birthday party! They were so sweet and asked if I could bring Ayla in after the party so they could show her some love! Felt like the perfect place to love your pets well. I’d like to introduce everyone to Copper. He is, in my opinion, the pickiest dog to ever have lived. Mountain Paw Pet Supply has literally solved all my problems!After YEARS of searching for the right food that he’ll eat, I found Acana (Duck & Pear) at Mountain Paw. Y’all, I kid you not - he’s been eating this for MONTHS now with no fuss.Most recently, I went in searching for a healthy dog bone to help clean teeth. Again, Mountain Paw to the rescue. They suggested the UnHide Chew. It’s simple two-ingredient recipe makes me confident it’s safe and healthy, and the flavor means Copper is ACTUALLY enjoying it!Shop local. The customer service, inventory, and the happiness of your pet will make your visit to this store worth it.UPDATE: the bones have lasted over one month. Bought more since they’re so loved by Copper, but they have a great lifespan!

Excellent service, very knowledgeable team!Cooper is 8 month old Dachshund and our older dog Bones are eating healthy and they love it. Their food doesn’t list a paragraph of by meat products and a multitude of other ingredients. We recommend Mountain Paw team with 5+++ stars.

I highly recommend taking fur babies here. We adopted our labradoodle at 5 weeks old after her mother stopped nursing the litter. The large commercial chain we first went to recommended high end canned puppy food, which sounded reasonable for puppies starting to wean, but it came out gassy, runny, the same gray color, and not long after she ate it. 🤢 I was concerned of how little nutrition she must be absorbing for it passed through her so quickly and frequently, and how it may effect her intestines. So then we took her to Mountain Paw, and the owner is a wealth of information on specific foods dogs should eat and why. He even gave us free samples to find what she likes best. No more digestive issues with the freeze dried raw food and goat milk! Just mix a serving of each together with a little warm water, and now she licks the bowl clean!

Very nice store. I was recommended by Gooddog for some dog shoes they couldn’t provide for my German Shepherd I thought that was super nice that they support other stores.They didn’t have the correct size, but they pointed me in the right direction ,which I thought was very nice .Highly recommend

I love this pet supplies store and will not frequent big box pet supply stores again. We've been going here for about 2 years now after a recommendation from a friend; the staff is knowledgeable about food recommendations and pet health - they truly care about animals. They have promotions in which you buy a certain number of a product and you get one free, which is helpful as I have 4 dogs! They are in great health and happy doggers thanks to the food recommendations and the raw goats milk we have them on. The owner is very kind and sometimes even throws in a few extras (yesterday we got dried lambs ears; in the winter I got a Christmas neckerchief for my littlest!). I just feel like it's almost "Cheers" when I go in there, they remember me and my dogs' needs and I am so happy to support local!

We've been getting food, supplements, and supplies for our three dogs from Mountain Paw for over two years and truly cannot recommend this business highly enough.We always do a lot of research into clean, raw, and humanely sourced foods and supplements and like to rotate foods, proteins, and brands and are extremely selective about what we will feed. We know that we can trust Brandon and Emily's expertise when it comes to suggestions and with the products they choose to stock in their store (or that they will very kindly order for us.)The store, while small, is beautifully laid out and organized. All employees have been helpful and friendly and visiting the store is always pleasant.Our dogs are family members and we prioritize their wellness, happiness, and safety. We will continue to support those needs (and Mountain Paw) by getting our dogs' foods and supplies here.

If it wasn't for Mountain Paw Pet Supply, my Labradoodle would be going through many veterinarian visits to see why he was sick on a daily bases. Buying what I thought was good food at a local grocery store was making our dog so sick that he was vomiting daily. When I saw Mountain Paw Pet Supply off of hwy 41, in Post Falls, I stopped in to check it out. A very kind man named Brandon asked if he could help. After telling him my story, he knew exactly what I needed. He gave me many samples to take home at no cost to me. He said, "Try these, see if he likes any of these and if he starts to feel better." Within two days, my Doodle was perky, playful, and no vomiting. Now, one month later, my Doodle is a happy, playful boy!! The service and the kindness Brandon and his staff gave me, not to mention the knowledge, makes me highly recommend Mountain Paw Pet Supply.

I've come here several times, both with and without my dogs. The staff is always super friendly, and they usually offer to help carry the boxes of raw patties that I end up buying when I'm out there. They have a good selection of pet food and treats, and a decent selection of toys and other items. I love coming out here!

If your still shopping the box stores your pet is missing out. The staff here are amazing! They really care and want your pet to be healthy and happy. I have not once had a question skipped over. Our Shepherd was overwight, poor gut health and yeast problems. With their help we set up a plan and 3 months later he has lost 20 lbs, eating excellent foods and is yeast free! Thank you so much for your shop!!

This is my go to pet store. Any question I have asked about a specific product, its uses and safety Brandon & Emily knew the answer. They carry USA &Paraguay chew products( bully sticks, gullets, small antlers ,all sorts of strange things my dogs love and a big variety of them). I love that they are not made in China. When I switched to raw food Brandon knew which one would be good for my little dogs and they love it. Try them out ,they have a wonderful store with really good products ! Ditch the big online ordering and shop local!

Love this store! The staff was super nice and extremely helpful in helping me learn about their premade raw diets. They have a great selection of dog toys, food, accessories, and supplies. And their prices were the same or cheaper than I would pay online. Will definitely be returning!
