Kato and Penny are always well taken care of at Petco. Kato is a senior and takes considerable patience to trim. Two other groomers in Old town an and Preist River refuse to trim him, Amanda at Petco gets the job done and never complains. I leave a nice tip too. Kato is relaxed and happy when I pick him up so, so.i know hes taken care of properly.

Amanda worked wonders with Quincy who has not been groomed for 2+ years. I’m sure she took so much patience to whittle through all of his mats. Thank you so much Amanda!!

This Petco is one of the best for customer service. I like Amanda in the grooming department & so does my puppy Myrtle .. I recommend Amanda highly.

Horrible Experience!I was a new customer and came with my 2 dogs for their groom appointment. Got inside with one dog and they told me they needed my rabies vaccine documents before they could check us in. I asked if they could hold his leash while I go grab it from the car, it was hard to handle that with him as he is still a puppy and they said they couldn’t touch him till they got the vaccine card. Even though they could pet him when we came in. So here I go back out to get that with my hands full with no assistance from them (and there were 3 of them standing there watching me). Then I get back and into my 15 min consultation before they could take him to get grooming started when I mentioned I gave him a calming med to help with the groom, telling them it was prescribed by his veterinarian. They then told me they couldn’t groom him if he was given any calming medication. I said it was prescribed by his veterinarian for his anxiety with grooming… I said you’re welcome to call and confirm with his veterinarian. They refused to groom him. So I told them this was an awful experience and I’d never be back or let my dog stay to get groomed here anyways. They offered little to no customer service and weren’t accommodating at all! I’d never recommend them to anyone! Go somewhere else! Oh and they wouldn’t post my review to their website either, just wow!

We were told our dog couldn’t come back for grooming because his back hips are to bad. But that we could come back for nail trimmings. We appreciate the honestly and them not putting our dog in any discomfort. They treated him like a prince and took care of him this grooming we had.

Friendly, speedy, clean, and they clearly love working with animals! They we're able to trim and buff my dog's claws, a task that has been difficult for some groomers as she is a little touchy about her paws being handled.
