It was a horrible experience taking my first little puppy there for his first nail trim. He was about 12 weeks old and 4 pounds at the time.First of all, the woman at the front desk acted like she was just saying “hi” to him, then she disappeared behind 2 sets of doors with him! She handed him to a groomer (I could see through a glass window after she went through the doors) and she came back out.I was terrified, asking her questions, and she knew it was my first time taking any dog or puppy to the groomer, as I had called and spoke to her ahead to of time. Then they (an additional lady went in to help) groomed him while he screamed. All while I was asking the front desk lady if I could be with him, what they were doing exactly, and expressing my concern and stress to her the whole time.When the groomer lady took him out, I saw that they had cut his whiskers completely off!!! They cut more too and all I wanted was a nail trim! I was furious but still in shock and shook up, wondering if it was normal, and said you should never cut whiskers, especially on a puppy and they said it was fine.This was about 4 months ago and his little whiskers are finally growing back now. I was thoroughly traumatized (and so was he during it) by the way they did it by basically kidnapping him as well. Then I paid them my money for their grooming “services”, interesting.I have felt like complaining to them ever since and wonder how people can run a business like that! Am I wrong, is that all normal for a dog’s (or small puppy’s first time) nail trim or grooming?

I take both of my dogs (Golden-doodle & Shih tzu) here and have never had any problems and my dogs always look great! I love the groomers here they are wonderful, the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are always soo booked out! If you don't book your pets next appointment at the time of your current appointment it takes over a month to get in ... sometimes almost 2!! Otherwise they are fantastic.
