It was super clean and well set up for a thrift store. Prices are also super reasonable! Most of the baby things were only $1, while at Goodwill they are usually more like $3-$5.

I love this thrift store! They are so friendly and keep the prices low. No matter what the brand is, they keep the prices the same. Most thrift stores will up the prices, but they don’t which keeps me coming back. They also provide discounts for teachers which is a plus. I can get cute clothes for less than half the price, which then helps me save money so I can get supplies for my classroom and the kiddos. Thank you for your low prices and friendly faces ❤️

Usually this is a nice place to shop with prices being reasonable & the employees kind. This previous Saturday, however, My Husband and 2 small children were shopping in the store and when my 3 year old started to to throw a fit (my husband took a toy away) He IMMEDIATELY took her out to the car. The door had no more swung shut behind him when a very rude young employee announced loudly "That gave me a headache, I Absolutely HATE screaming children"That was MY child she said she hated. No one loves to hear a child yell, and that is why she was removed immediately from the store. There is no room for Hate in this world right now, especially against small children.We expect the employees to keep their sentiments to themselves in the future.

This is a phenomenal thrift store. I have moved here to live with my son and his family. This place has provided me so many things that I needed to get started. When they say thrift store they actually mean that they price things affordably. It is so sad when you go to a thrift store and you can't afford to buy what they're selling because everything is over priced. This place is top-notch. Will visit frequently.

The animal shelter thrift store is one of the best thrift stores I have been in, ever. It is clean. The goods are in first-class shape. They have a nice selection. More importantly, the people working there are really really nice. I love going in there to browse for all kinds of things. I'll admit, I'm cheap, and I buy most of my clothing and other things from the thrift stores even though I can afford much higher cost goods. But why spend more when you can get great things right there at the animal shelter thrift store in beautiful Ponderay?The service at the thrift store is really good, too. The docents who are taking care of the products there do a great job of pricing them, getting them in the right shelves, and taking care of any questions you may have.

The thrift store is fine. However, the place to give donations requires you to drive through a very narrow lane with a dumpster partially blocking the exit. Do not go through this with a large SUV or pickup.

Rude, crusty cashier got her feathers ruffled immediately when we asked her if unmarked item qualified for discount. She asked if we seriously needed a discount on a 4 dollar item and looked at us like we were trash. We weren't thanked for our purchase and she was downright RUDE and MEAN. I can't believe someone like this even has a job. There are so many good people laid off right now with real customer service skills. The shelter needs to put this employee in check, she needs to go. We have donated there in the past - never again!

Good thrift store with decent prices and friendly staff. Take advantage of the sale items if you can - different color tags for 50% off. Good selection of books alphabetized by author. Best of all, the money you spend goes directly to benefit the Panhandle Animal Shelter next door.

We always find great treasures at panhandle! Great prices too but we always leave an extra donation in the jar because you can really find some amazing deals and all the profits help an amazing organization. 👏👏👏👏

The clerks generally ignore me when I walk through the door, although they seem to greet other customers with a welcome or by letting them know the color of the tag for the day which is discounted. Likewise, during checkout I am generally ignored, as was the case today until another clerk stepped behind the counter to help customers who were patiently waiting while the other clerk chatted with someone. I'm not sure if the employees are paid or volunteers, but they could use more training.The benefits of shopping at the Panhandle Animal Shelter are good prices and that the proceeds go to the shelter. They've changed their name in the last month or so, but they still support the shelter.

The animal thrift store is a wonderful place to find that one thing youve been looking for! A great book collection, clothes and winter gear when the seasons here, and the proceeds go to The Animal Shelter. A great way to support the local community.
