Great feed and more store. The owner is long in knowledge and the business..The local shelters are full. Stop breeding and selling caged up animals.Last year we went in for a scheduled dog bath and nail trim. The groomer was stiff and didn't care to offer a minute to meet and comfort my dog. She forced my dog into a small kennel while finishing her break or something. I turned out badly and the nail trim was not finished. Paid the 50$ after i put the food and treats I'd planned to purchase back on the shelf .I was glad to get out of there.

We had so much fun here! The prices are a bit higher than other big name stores, but we feel like it's worth it. You're not just paying for your pet supplies here, you're supporting a local business, AND you're paying for the experience. Their petting zoo is a fun family experience and they don't even charge for it! That's what makes their higher prices worth it to us. Two birds with one stone- we get to buy our pet supplies and make family memories at the same time!

I love this store, both in Chubbuck and Pocatello. I have shopped there for years, for multiple pets. However to the recent newer employee , heavier set lady that was working 2/09/2024 I did not appreciate the attitude you gave me when asking to purchase one of the pets. Treated me like trash for asking a question because you were almost off work (which I know because I overheard you after talking to fellow employee) not the first time you’ve been dismissive and rude to customers.. you acted the same way when a friend of mine and her daughter wanted to look at some fish. You are employed to help customers purchase things… buy the pets they want, it’s obvious you hate your job and in return it reflects poorly on the business itself for hiring you.

They’re my go to.I’m sad about the bird that lives there. He’s alone now. I’m not sure what happened to it. But you can just tell how sad he is. Start plucking his feathers.Please find him a companion.

I went to this place for the first time and saw a baby green iguana in awful shape. it had one single heat lamp which is definitely insufficient. his colors were incredibly dull, his tail and toes were dry, black, and crusty, and was barely moving. he was clearly unhealthy and not cared for properly. there was no way I was going to leave this poor iguana at this store to probably die. I took him home, gave him proper heat, humidity and UVA/UVB and he has made a pretty quick recovery. when I brought him home, he was barely moving and I was almost certain he would not make it through the night, but with proper husbandry he is eating, drinking, climbing and running. he will still make a visit to the vet just to see what medical issues he could have while he was very obviously neglected at this store. I have talked to people in the area about this store and I have not heard anything good. after visiting this animal prison, I visited their location in Chubbuck. it was just as bad, if not worse.

The staff was great the manager was extremely extremely rude and I spent 800.00 dollars on a puppy in there. I didn't stay to buy puppy food because I decided to purchase it somewhere else because of the way I was treated

Nov. 2023 We bought a “toy poodle” (suppose to be) and it’s a standard 40lbs poodle, says our Vet. We paid a premium price for a toy breed.Shame on them.

My cat recently died and it was so heardbreaking. I went in and hung out with the kittens and its always nice to see the puppies there too. Just good vibes. I knew i was going to get another kitten and this little boy Goose made my day. He gets along well with my other older cat Arlo and its good to see Arlo happy again.

This store seems like a small animal hell. I went to look at rats and many of them were missing large amounts of fur and obviously had respiratory illness. Most of their small animals looked miserable, scratching and wheezing.When confronted the employees claimed nothing was wrong. Against my better judgment I purchased the healthiest looking rat I saw and when I got home she already had gone downhill. By morning the poor thing had died despite my best efforts. I would recommend not supporting a buisness who treats their animals like this and buys from such poor breeders.

There is a little red head who works there and she treated my daughter and me so nice, I should’ve caught her name but she was amazing. We were looking at a dog and she told us all the information we needed to know. Most amazing employee there !

My family loves when we need to go get dog treats or toys. They have an adult breaded dragon for a while and appear to take really good care of him, and the other animals. Overall a good place for the basics for many kinds of animals but it is a smaller store so the selection is limited. Fish, reptiles and birds are always sure to have my sons asking if we can get a new pet.

McKee's has always been my go to pet store. They've always been very helpful,and usually have what I'm looking for. They have another store in Chubbuck as well that has some different variety and a petting zoo. I went here the other day to get things for our garden and I was pleased with the prices and found some plants that we hadn't seen anywhere else. It's also locally owned! Big plus in my opinion.

I’ve been coming here since I was a baby. Over 20 years later, I love bringing my babies here. Their animals look well taken care of and are a much fairer price than most pet stores. They have great snack and pet food options. Their petting zoo is so cute and has a bunch of really great animals. My kids had a lot of fun going with their grandpa.

I think it's a Mom & Pop place. It was my Mother's favorite place for Gardening needs . They have Beautiful Fish tanks & Birds etc...Highly recommended! Fun place

The staff here is great they took the time to answer all of my questions. They let me selectively choose fish even though I haven't completely made up my mind yet they waited patiently they helped me find the products I needed. They even offered to carry out the heavy items we had purchased. When I shop here it's like going to see family not just a store that wants you to make a purchase and get out you feel comfortable there and they treat you like you were their family I'll be back for many more purchases

They do not take proper care of their animals. We got a blue tongue skink from them because he was losing toes and wasn't in the proper condition. We've also seen a green tree python there with improper humidity and no place to hang. Absolutely awful conditions for their animals.

My son who is of age bought a puppy from them while we were out of town. They clear dud not know the bread he was. He had worms severely malnutrition. He was clearly taken away from his Mother too soon. Forward 6 months . Hehas not manners. we are spending a lot of money on training and vets to get him to be a good dog. He is a challenge for sure. This place takes any dog for money. Should not take a puppy unless they are vetted first. Should not be selling animals. They are Parr of the community problem of problem pets.

Great store! A little dirty but not extremly bad. The main reason i rated it a 3 is because the prices are VERY high comapred to large chains. However, this is understandable considering it is a local buisness. I have bought many things here and i love to support the locals.

The women (clerks)that I spoke to in McKees were very nice and very knowledgeable regarding planting times for gardens. Nice garden center, beautiful flowers. I did buy a 4 pack of broccoli. Looked all around the store, nice variety of fish if I wanted to put my aquarium up. Had some nasty tarantulas ( I dislike spiders), nice looking dogs and rabbits, snakes, cool gecko and birds. All the animals looked healthy and clean.
