I save tons of time and gas money as this store usually has something I need in an emergency or special projects. There's not too many things that I don't purchase just because price might be a little extra than other stores however I find most things competitively priced and I can't do without their Hardware library in the back. Sometimes I pay extra with total satisfaction and I'm getting right back to working on project at hand a few blocks away!

Helpful people and friendly faces when you shop at Southfork Hardware in Parma. Highly suggested and just remember that with the world we are in and with so many unkind people, it’s hard to find good places to shop where you trust the people and products and this one is truly great! Also if there’s an issue, they do their very best to fix it! I refuse to shop elsewhere because of the awesome service.

Rarely go to this store. Prices higher than others and shelf prices not same as prices at check out which are higher than posted on shelf. Go in store and more times than not employee leaning on counter on cell phone. Rude employees at check out and not helpful with item location. Inquired with several people and store ownership is not really known so cannot talk to whoever owns store to resolve issues. Try to shop local but not treated well and find out store may/may not be owned by local person. Inquired who owned the store but employee didn't know. Our beautiful little town of Parma is slowly being eroded by out of state people who are not respectful of the people they should be serving. It is all about the money and how they can "take" the people they consider "less than" them. Parma is a good town with good residents who should be valued and treated well as customers in stead of "shut up, give me your money, and get out of my face".

Awful experience. This store has gone downhill quickly. Aisles are always full of boxes of merchandise instead of it being on shelves. Front counter is always either covered with somebody’s breakfast/lunch or an entire makeup section. Generally the lady up front has to stop putting on makeup, or eating at the counter to ring you up.

Went in to buy some silicone the tag under it said $4.99. I proceeded to go up and purchase it. It ran up 5.99 I told the ‘’manager’’ it was 4.99 he said let me go check he came back said it was the wrong tag I then told him I do not want to purchase it and I want my money back he said to bad sales are final he refused to take any further action I than left and called corporate they said they will call me next week. To the manager this is not how you treat your customer’s you sir should of just gave me my money back. Now your are going to have a big mess on your hands. What’s funny is the receipt and the tub of silicone numbers don’t even match go figure Bad customer service

Employee Rude and would not return a part that I bought 15 minutes prior that was broken because the package was open He said and couldn't resell it why would you want to sell a broken part and he just shrugged at me Said he cannot return it even though I had the receipt and I was just in there 15 minutes maybe 10 even prior to that hooked up the part it was broken didn't work and he still won't return It for me or do an exchange even though it was broken when I bought it not it because the packages open he said.

Wow i have ALWAYS gone out of the way to go to this store to shop until today when i was harrassed MULTIPLE times while i was walking down each isle trying to remember everything i needed by one of the male employees. Im in this store at least twice a month getting supplies and i end up spending 40 dollars or more each time. After he is OBVIOUSLY following me i go to checkout put the things down to pay and he says do you have something in your pocket implying i have shoplifted. I reach in my hoodie pull my PHONE and KEYS out put them on counter and ask if he just accused me of stealing. He does NOT apologize or say anything but my total for my purchases WHICH where screws and a hinge. VERY rude and disgusting!

I rented a Vemeer Wood Chipper from these guys and 2 hours into our work the chipper stopped working. We called to try to get it resolved and the guys had no idea what could be wrong and told us just to bring it back. Once we talked to the manager they only offered to credit us $66 from the $220 we paid to rent it. Their equipment is not reliable and the staff is not knowledgeable on how it works and when it fails they don't do the right thing. Luckily my husband is a certified arborist and has years of commercial experience so he knew how to run it.

I rented a small tractor from them. The thing has never had maintenance done on it. Then they want to charge me and extra $25 for it having a little dust on the hood. Also they taxed the deposit for the tractor. So much for trying to keep it local. I will never buy or rent from them ever again.

They’ve brought in a lot of new products in the past year- an expanded nuts and bolt section, pet products, fishing section, toys, craft paint and more. The workers are super helpful. Love this store.
