Stopped by with a big group for dinner tonight. We ordered a variety of different plates and we're all super happy with what we received. The fries and fry sauce really hit the spot. Our waitress was very energetic and made us feel right at home. We will definitely eat here again when we stop through.

A rare gem. Small corner bistro with tons of personality. I am a huge pretzel bun fan and they had me at “served on a pretzel bun”.Order with sweet potato fries and it comes with cinnamon marshmallow sauce. Come here for good food, come heated for great service, come here to support one of the best little bistros I’ve experienced in a while!!!Pictures of Sexy hot ham and cheese

Excellent sandwich. Attentive waitperson. Must go back and try more things on the menu. Update: Went back and had Richard's Reuben. Excellent! By the way, the Pineapple Cake IS THE BOMB!!!!Went back. The WidowMaker #2 is a killer Carrot Cake. Spendy, but great!

Went with the family. Nice to have more than a burger joint on the North side of the lake. My boys got steaks, my wife got chicken, and I got an Indiana Jones sub. I wasn't crazy about my sub, but my wife and son loved what they got. The English chips were really good! Staff could have been a bit more friendly. Ambiance was awesome; kudos to whoever decorated the place!

Had a breakfast here before heading to Bear Lake, the food was delicious and service was super friendly! And bonus, I met the cutest dog ever ❤️ Not sure who her owner is but she freely walks around the area, and comes to Cody's for free bacon 😅

Definitely worth the stop. Great customer service and the food is great! I ordered the sub and asked them for no bread, low carb, super good!

The ambience was fun with 20s motorcycles and 50s Hot Rod magazines around the room. The wall opens onto the road so you can see outside clearly and it's fun when people walk by.My son in law and I had the Brandon burger. It had bacon, 2 patties, blue cheese crumbles sauteed onions and the other normal fixin's. It was pretty good. Not the "best burger I've ever eaten in my life" good but it was very good for just a small burger place. When we were there the fryer was broken so we couldn't get anything fried (wings, onion rings, cheese curds, etc.) That was a disappointment because I like to try onion rings everywhere I go but stuff happens so what can you do? They also couldn't do any milkshakes so that was a bummer. The ladies all got some version of their flatbread: a philly cheese steak, a pepperoni, and a buffalo grilled chicken. They all liked their orders and the flatbread was really good. We'd definitely go back but I'd like to go when everything is working so the full menu is available.

Good variety on the menu. We came in at 5pm, but wasn't told about the 1/2 rack of ribs special. We had burgers which were good. The Brandon Bacon Burger had an odd taste, once the mushrooms were taken off, it was better. Moderately expensive. Nice place to stop after a day of fishing at Bear Lake.

First time here and so pleased. Debanie was our delightful server and the meals we had were excellent! Wonderful sweet potato fries and onion rings and the ham and swiss is truly sexy!

Went to the Paris location! Man talk about a great place with a good atmosphere! The food was fantastic. We ended up getting some apparel on the way out. You could tell that the chef took pride in making each meal we ordered. Really an awesome experience. We will be stopping there each time we go through from now on!

This was my third time eating at Cody's in Paris and I have been impressed every time. The theming is absolutely spot on; the best thing is the shop rags used as napkins. This is a sit-down restaurant, not fast food, and the service is at an expected pace. I have gotten a sandwich, tacos, and burger and they have all been excellent. The fries are fantastic! I would like to try a milkshake one day, but am always too stuffed to close the deal. This is for sure the best restaurant in Paris and I will most diffidently be back.

Everything we ordered was out of stock, the items they did have were terrible and half of our order was incorrect. I ordered a burger and when it came out it was burned to a crisp and it was about the size of a slider. The table next to me ordered the same burger and when theirs came out it looked completely different. It was just altogether a pretty terrible meal.

We saw this place as we were driving through Paris, and figured we’d stop and patron a local business instead of a chain while we were on vacation. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant is cool, especially if you’re a car guy. But the food was simply “meh”, nothing to be excited about, and the service certainly left something to be desired. The waitresses, especially ours, didn’t seem like they wanted to be there and were less than friendly. Almost as if the customers were an inconvenience she had to tolerate, instead of the lifeblood of the business. Our glasses were dry most of the time we were there, and the waitstaff seemed to be more interested in chatting with each other than serving your customers. Hope this improves.

First off, the food is fantastic. Just wanted to get that out there. For whatever reason, tonight was not good service. We waited a good 45 minutes to get our food. The servers said that it was a hectic night, but it really wasn't that busy compared to a normal restaurant.Recommendation: Great food, order to go.

We came here after spending all day on the lake and made it a point to drive to the Idaho location because we thought they might have a better beer and wine menu. In fact on their website they show the Paris location beer and wine menu and when I asked them if they have craft beer they didn't even know what I was talking about. they went and got someone in the back who said they had one blue moon and that was it. none of the things listed on their menu they had. I ended up getting the blue Moon and that was the only time they came for drinks. We waited for over an hour to get our food. We only ordered three hamburgers and some shrimp. Once we got the food it was very underwhelming. my paper thin Patty was still raw in the middle. as soon as we got our food we asked for the check we ended up spending over 90 minutes in this place with terrible service and subpar food. It's honestly been 10 or 15 years since I've had such bad service. Also. A couple came in just after 8 pm and the staff said "we're closed". She said your web site said your open till 9. She responded and said no that's the one in garden City. I promptly hopped on my phone and sure enough, your web site said open till 9 in paris. They seemed really frustrated. They even asked if they could something to go, and they were turned down. For the owners response. if you pay attention to who patronizes your restaurants and leaves a review you will see how many reviews they have left. I didn't just leave you a one-star review and walk away. I left you a very detailed description of my entire experience and the best you give me is a canned auto reply asking for more information? That seems to be the same reply you give to everyone recently. I'm a local guide with over 900 reviews. When I leave a review I try to give a lot of information. Maybe you should read my entire review and look at what I said before you leave a canned reply. Maybe this explains the service in your establishments.

Called in a family order of chicken tenders, which comes with a huge serving of fries and a big salad. I have five kids plus my husband. We couldn't eat it all. That never happens. The price was on par for Bear Lake area (touristy) but the quality of food for the cost was well worth it. We got to go because at the time, dine in was closed due to COVID-19. Looking forward to dining in because the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Definitely ordering next time we hit Bear Lake North Beach.

I am sorry to say I'll not go back there again. We go to breakfast every Saturday and go between Timbers and Cody's. Yesterday we went with my granddaughter. My husband and I ordered the 2 eggs, 2 sausage links and 2 pieces of toast. My granddaughter ordered the waffle and 2 pieces of sausage links. 15 minutes after ordering the waitress came to tell us the waffle maker was not working so I ordered her a pancake instead. 10 minutes after that she brought my husband and I our meals which were cold and told me the pancake was coming. I gave my grand daughter my fruit and she had received her sausage. Her pancake came when my husband and I were finished eating our cold overpriced meals so I asked the waitress to put it in a go box to which she covered with watery syrup. It was like mush when we got home for her to eat which is only a few miles to Montpelier from there. I like the atmosphere of Cody's with the garage look. Most of the time the waitress is friendly and helpful. The food is overpriced with small servings but it is a new business just starting. But after yesterday we will not go back. We paid 9 dollars per plate for my husband and I cold food which took forever to get. They did not charge me for my granddaughter food which was not edible so that was nice.

My husband and I both ordered the Carne Asada Quesadilla. Not impressed at all! I would compare it to something I would get from Taco Bell. My daughter ordered the Beef Street Tacos and they were just “ok”. The atmosphere is darling and I loved sitting next to the garage door that was opened so we could enjoy the fresh air. However, the waitress did not want to be there and it was obvious. She was extremely annoyed that we even showed up. She never even asked us if we wanted a refill. Luckily, there was a fountain machine in the back so we were able to refill our own drinks. Basically, the atmosphere is darling the food is nothing special and the service sucked.

We came here a 3 or 3 years ago when it was called the Paris Cafe and enjoyed their chicken salad with cranberries sandwich. When we came back to try them again it's now called Cody's gastro garage. They don't have the same menu items but they do have delicious food. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meals. It's nice to go to different, quaint, non-chain places to eat.

Very disappointed in Codys-drove all the way from Bloomington with starving kids (after checking both the website and Facebook to make sure they were open). Door was locked and no answer on the phone. Had to drive back to bear lake for food! Please update your hours so they are correct.

We tried to stop in here today. Looked like a cool place with the open air dining. We sat at a patio table (no signage about wait to be seated.) After a few minutes of waiting and watching the two young waitresses, here is what we found. There were two of them, not busy, just standing there talking. Then one answered the phone and the other went into the the back. We thought that surely when they were done doing what they were doing, one would come out and bring menus (or something to acknowledge we were there trying to patronize their establishment.) Instead, my wife watched as the two reconviened behind the counter where one jumped up to sit on the counter and they started taking selfies. My wife finally went in and asked if we had to order inside or if they come out to the table after they were done taking selfies? They appeared inconvenienced and one said she didn't realize we were sitting outside so she would come clean off the table for us and grabbed two menus. My wife came back to the table and told me to move the stuff on the table because they were going to clean it off (it was the "cleanest" table available on the patio but had crumbs all over it and was obviously not wiped down or sanitized after the previous customers, as per CDC and local health district guidelines.) Instead she came out and sat menus on the table. My wife quickly picked them up and reminded her that she was going to clean off our table. She told us she thought we were sitting at the next table over so she was going to clean off the beer bottles from it. She obviously didn't have any intention of cleaning our table. In addition, the menus she placed in front of us had food on them and were not clean or sanitized. The final straw was when she said, "Just to let you know, we are out of......" She proceeded to read us this list so big that she had stuff written on the sides too (apparent by her having to turn her pad sideways to read the rest of the items the were out of.) Out of curiosity, my wife asked what they do have and she named off a few things but almost all of them included, "except...... that normally goes on it". Not that we were planning to stay after the cleanliness issues anyway, but we listened to her give her "We're out of......" speech, we said no thanks and left. Absolutely worst dining experience we have ever had, and that in itself says a lot. Won't be back and don't recommend it to anyone going through Paris ID, to go to/return from Bear Lake, or any other reason you might drive through that town.

Great little spot. Try the dipping sauce for sweet potato fries then try to guess what it is. Prices very reasonable and food is good. Definitely will go again.

Don't be put off by the odd name - this place has solid all-American fare for a reasonable price. It ain't health food! But it IS pretty darn tasty, won't break the bank, and made of real food (no filler in the meat - all ingredients seemed high quality)

I have tried to get takeout at least 4 different times from this restaurant. Either the phone doesn't work, they are out of propane, they are out of supplies, ingredients, an excuse every time. They need to get Gordon Ramsey up in there to fix all the issues that are going on with this place since they "reopened".

Travelling through the area and stopped in for lunch. I've never had an eatery exceed my expectations to this level. Everything about the experience (food, service, atmosphere) was exceptional.

Food was very good. I visited there with my Aunt and Uncle and their grandchild. It was a interesting place to eat but not really kid friendly. Not in terms of having a bar or provocative in any way but not really anything for children to do.
