The problem with our stay was the weather. We didn’t know it was going to be the coldest weekend of the season. I think if the windows were updated in the cabins then it would be a better winter getaway. The cabins don’t retain heat very well even with a roaring fire. Again it was the coldest weekend of the season. I feel the staff were doing the best they could with what they had. I would love to return in the summer to see that beautiful time of year. Even though we left early due to the cold we were provided with some beautiful sights.

Elkins Resort was just perfect for us. The resort is so beautiful. The rooms have super comfy beds and have everything you need for the perfect stay. The staff is so friendly and do everything to meet the needs of its clients. Then the food is so good from snacks to dinner. Top chef does fantastic menu options. We were there for a family wedding and they made sure everything was set up just as we wanted. I can't thank the staff enough for making this trip one of the best we have had.

We had such a lovely time at Elkins Resort. We will definitely come back again to enjoy and explore the area further. The grounds are very rustic and clean. The restaurant on the site has fine dining options. We ordered several dishes and all were well done. The green lawn in front of the restaurant offers a spacious area for a more leisurely dining.Food & drinks: Good selection. Generous portions

We attended our friend’s’ wedding at Elkins. It was an incredible experience! The facility is wonderful! The reception dinner was delicious as was the Sunday brunch for the wedding attendees! The staff was extremely efficient, friendly, and always available for anything needed! We didn’t stay at Elkins but folks who did talked very highly of their experience!

I live at the lake part time and have been going to Elkins since I was born. The service, food and boating facilities are superior. I have had a wedding there, seen three generations of families there and never have a bad experience there. I knew the Elkins and the current owners are carrying on the legacy of the resort in a very high class fashion. It is beautiful and rustic on the outside but full service and professional in every other sense.

My husband and I held our wedding at Elkins earlier this year, and we absolutely loved our experience. We had our wedding in February, so it was a winter wonderland! Every single person we worked with for months ahead of time was friendly, answered all of our questions, took the time to chat and make it personal, and really cared that we got to make our special day exactly what we wanted it to be. The catering they provided was unbelievable - so good that months later, our family and friends still talk about the meal! I worked with Jennifer as the main coordinator, and she was very easy to work with and was always a quick email away. The morning after the ceremony, we had breakfast at the lodge, and that was incredible too. Cricket came and chatted with us for quite a while. We loved it. Overall, we could not have been happier with our experience. Every single touchpoint, from the first tour to the final check-out, we experienced great customer service and small town charm with a picturesque backdrop. Thank you, Elkins! We can't wait to return and celebrate our wedding anniversary with you!

Went with friends who had been before. They told us it was the best food they had ever had, so expectations were high. I ordered the tri tip. It came out and looked amazing, but when I dug in, it was room temperature. I told the server who took it back and returned a few minutes later. When it came back it was warm, but I wouldn’t say hot. It was fine, and I enjoyed it well enough. Everyone else raved about their food, so maybe just bad luck. The huckleberry crisp dessert was 10/10 amazing though.

This resort is absolutely amazing. The cabin I stayed in had all the comforts of home, oh yeah, and a killer view! It was like owning a well-appointed log cabin. The property is a true gem as well. Private, swimmable beach, hiking trail, great nooks and crannies to lounge in, pick your favorite --adirondack chair or beach towel --plus a full service bar and restaurant. You'd be forgiven for having low expectations for quality seeing how Elkins is is dead center in practically wilderness, but the staff manage to pull off some damn-good breakfast, lunch, and dinner! This place has been around going on a century because of the property, the amenities, and fostering a culture of excellence! Thank you, Elkins!

There is no place better in Priest Lake. I have been going to Elkins Resort for over 40 years. It’s stunning views, great service and a place where you just don’t care about your cell phone or TV. The cabins are rustic and very homey. Great place for family vacations. Kids can roam and be safe and get the best huckleberry daiquiris in the lake. Side note, get the huckleberry crisp!

beautiful and peaceful. A must visit location. Lovely view, small bedrooms in the cabins(who cares), nicely outfitted cabin lake view, prefect kitchen and nice bathroom. The food..wowza NY strip with peppercorn sauce, Tiger prawns, and the chicken and waffles (pics are here!!). The hostess not very into it but all in all a great weekend. Tomorrow night is a walk on the beach.

After working as a wedding photographer in the Spokane/CDA area for several years, I *finally* got the chance to shoot up at Elkins Resort, and let me tell you. I did NOT want to leave. I could work here every single weekend with no complains. The scenery is second to none, the food is ahMAzing (I still dream about that dinner), and the North Idaho vibes are perfect for that laid-back-but-formal wedding.If you are considering getting married at Elkins Resort, DO IT. And then hire me to do your photography, because I absolutely *adore* the place.Food & drinks: The catering at the restaurant was some of the best food I've ever had while working at a wedding.

We absolutely love Elkins and have stayed there many times. Any season of the year is great. We just spent my wife's birthday there. This resort is run well. Many of the cabins have had lots of great upgrades. The food is amazing. Great bar to hang out in. And the staff is always the best, often times going out of their way to ensure your stay goes well. Props to Mike, Tracie, Cricket and the rest of the staff.

I have rented boats at Elkins several times this summer and in years past. The boats are always in excellent condition (and are new every other year or so), the teams at the front desk and down at the dock are both outstanding. We always feel appreciated and taken care of like family. Don't forget to tip generously - these folks work hard in the heat! :)

Elkins Resort sits at a perfect lakeside for an amazing getaway. You are greeted by charming staff, a great bar/restaurant, and an absolutely stunning view of Priest Lake. Northern Idaho definitely has a lot to offer viewpoint-wise, however this is one of a kind. There are cabins on-site that are available to booking/rent to make your stay that much more enjoyable. A recently expanded boat dock stretches out into the water at the boat launch area, where you can enjoy some fishing, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc... You name it.I highly reccomend Elkins Resort for all traveller's or vacationers.

We had dinner and cocktails at this restaurant one night after being on a boat all day on the lake and it was just lovely. Beautiful views, amazing extensive yummy menu and great service!Food & drinks: Loved how many options were on the menu, had the mushroom appetizer, brussel sprouts and salmon and all were so good.

Me and my wife had an extravagant evening when we came here for dinner. We started with the blackened prawns (which were to die for) and I got the potato gnocchi which was great too. To top it all off we had a great server named Kailee. She was super helpful and made our meal even more pleasant. Nice job! Great food, great people. Will be coming back soon!
