Went in with my dog, a toddler and an infant and the rude lady at the grooming desk couldn’t be bothered to even help open the door so I could get in. The website says walk ins for nail trimming but she informed me that I have to have my dog updated on shots and they need the records. So they wouldn’t help me, then she watched me try to pull the stroller with the 2 kids in it and my crazy dog back out the door. Guess she couldn’t be bothered to get off her butt and help hold the door again. Very rude with no customer service skills at all. Went to Lucky Dog down the street and had the best experience with Autumn.

Hillary is amazing! My dog is at ease when she gets groomed and I am always informed as soon as she is done! I get reminders so I don't forget the appointment is coming up and its always easy dropping off and picking my dog back up.

Thank you, Kayla, for all you do for Tanner and for us!3 years ago:Tanner is a rescue who had been severely abused. He has battled with fear-based aggression. We have had Tanner almost 3 years. Kayla, at the Marketplace Nampa Petco, has been our groomer since 2012 when we moved to Idaho from Alaska. There are not enough positive adjectives to describe Kayla, both as the absolute best professional groomer I have employed over the past 40 years, and as a person. Kayla listens extremely well, asks questions, takes her time with the animal and lets him/her get to know her. Kayla knows how to work with fearful animals like Tanner, and finds great joy in providing a beautiful grooming outcome as well as in milestones related to gaining the love and trust of her clients (I am talking about her animal clients here). She notices all of their moods, tail-wagging, kisses, insecurities.... She is absolutely awesome. Thank you Kayla!Addendum: It is now June 2020, and we are in the middle of the national health crisis. Kayla continues to provide absolutely awesome grooming services every five weeks. We are so very thankful for her. Thank you and bless you, Kayla. You are the best!

Kim was extremely nice and worked with us to come to what was best for our dog. This was our first time and our dog doesn't get along with strangers very well, so we were so pleased with how Kim handled him and the excellent job she did on his bath and haircut

They took really great care of my pup. She is still very new to the groomers in general but they informed me that she was good just a bit nervous. They also helped me understand what I can do to help them in her next visit.

We think Terrie is great at working with our dog. She is patient and calm and our sons dog is a service dog he is never with anyone other than when he is getting groomed. Terrie is consist and treats our dog wonderful. She does a great job keeping him looking great.

Brittany takes good care of my puppy and he loves getting his weekly bath. He has allergies which require a special shampoo and extra care and she is careful to follow the directions. Vet says His skin has never looked so healthy.

Hillary at your Nampa store is awesome. She gives our dogs a lot of love and care - Her love for dogs shows. Plus she always listens to our requests and does exactly that. We use Hillary for all 3 of our Cavaliers on a regular basis.

I have been having our 3 year old Yorkie groomed at Petco for the past 2 years. I have always been satisfied and always request Hillary at the Nampa Petco. I have filled out many of these forms and would like not to continue each and every month.

Worst Service: Three voicemails w/o response. Erased Appointment after confirmation. Not paying attention while speaking to me.Full Review:We went online and scheduled an appointment. We got a confirmation email and code. On the day of the appointment we called the number in the email to check we were still on before loading up the beast and left three voicemails without getting a call back. Finally called the store and pressed 0 for the operator who got someone on the line after 5 minutes of hold music. I was greeted by someone else's name (I gave my when I talked to the operator) by the person who answered who was clearly unhappy to be on the phone and was not listening. I gave my phone number, my partners phone number and she said we were not in the system. I offered the confirmation code and she said they cant do anything with that (then why have it?!). I asked if there was an appointment at our time and she said they were full up. I told her she was not listening, I was not asking for an "available" time and that if she is full up then they do have an appointment and could she confirm that slot to be our dog. She seemed startled and annoyed. I gave her the dogs name and she said there was no dog in their system with that name.Wont be given a 2nd chance.

This is the second time that we took our pup to Petco Nampa and both times their service was excellent. We felt that they loved our baby and both times she left she wore a ribbon/bandana which made her look so much more adorable. We will keep going back to this location to take care of our pup. We love our Petco Nampa store!!

Brittany in Nampa has been Reckless' stylist since he was a pup. He is a Morkie & loves baths, but cutting can be difficult. In the beginning, I wasn't sure about returning to PetCo, but together we have learned what looks best on him. Brit listens to my input & accepts feedback very well and Reckless couldn't ask for a better stylist.

We have a new dog and went to schedule a grooming three weeks out - earliest possible for then. We get there and they let us know then we needed to bring rabies paperwork. The tag wasnt enough.That would have been quality information at scheduling and no, we won't reschedule weeks from now. This place is very poorly run and operated. Find someplace else for your puppers!
