More then a little annoyed with the ladies working the breakfast deli. Just wanted a simple breakfast burrito. I guess they have a standing order every Tuesday morning for 230 breakfast burritos. I understand the stress of getting this order done. However, as someone who used to manage a restaurant. You stop and take the moment to help other customers in-between as they walk up. The people with big orders have always understood if it was a couple of minutes behind. You can't count on big orders being there all the time. You can count on people walking in every day though. You can also count on them never returning because of one bad experience.

I had the absolute best experience working with the Deli department. I catered a large event including 100 piece fried chicken and 6 large deli trays. The fried chicken was fantastic and cooked perfectly. Fruit selection was top notch and very fresh as well as the veggie trays. All items were packaged nicely for transport. The staff were very professional and easy to work with. My order was ready at the requested pick up time. Thank you ladies for doing a fantastic job for our special event! You Rock!

Was my favorite place to shop for groceries. Everyone told me how expensive it is, but I used the app, clip coupons shop the deals and utilize the rewards and always saved a ton! Now prices have gone way up and deals are not quite as good so I had to reduce my from 5 stars rating to 3 stars.

My Wife and I ordered the 50 piece fried chicken for our daughter's graduation party. the order was ready on time, the chicken cooked really well and friendly staff. They made a mistake on the cake but fixed it right away.

Multiple times now I’ve walked by Janine or Rebecca berating an employee and it’s very awkward. Usually the employees are very nice and hard working so I don’t understand why management is so ruthless (especially in the presence of customers.) It’s pretty depressing going in for milk and eggs and seeing Janine scream at some teenager out in the open.

Prices keep going up, even with coupons. And while staff is nice, they always seem to have a shortage of cashiers. Expect 5 min wait times when they have alot of customers, even mid morning.

This second time of ordering thru Fresh Pass plus all the other savings available to me was a total big success! The substitution was a larger size for cereal for almost the same price as the one I originally ordered with all the discounts included.

Pricy. Had a fun monopoly game a few years back. Made shopping there a joy. Please bring it back, Safeway! Sometimes, if it’s a good day. Safeway’s parking lot can garner the attention of sports cars, and that is the greatest perk of all.

This is an updated review. I will sum this up as wow what an incredible improvement in customer service for employees! Very friendly and welcoming! 🙏 A+ And the checker a young man who is new is exceptional! Excellent checker! Today the employee at checkout Brandin cleaned the checkout area! And scanner, Amazing! What exceptional service by Brandin and employees lately! Great integrity as well. I don't see anything worth mentioning as dirty, store and fridges are all clean and better than some other stores in town for sure. Excellent improvement at this Safeway! The customers appreciate it, thank you! 👌

Always enjoy Safeway, but this time was great. I was in a hurry to purchase my groceries and get home. My debit card had been compromised earlier in the week so I had cash only. When I got to the checkout I was $5 short so I was going to just not buy 1 item. The sweet cashier/checker was so gracious she said she'd pay for the rest of my purchase and I could pay her back next time I was in to shop! What a great employee! I'm so sorry I don't remember her name but I will recognize her and pay her back soon! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤

When I check out, I sometimes get charged more than the (usually promotional) price on the shelf. Then I go through the line again and return the item or they give me the other price.Promotional items frequently show only the promotional price, and you have to jump through some hoop to get it. This could be a legal problem for them somewhere.I intend to shop Winco and Rosauers until Safeway quits making me put in my id number, and offers straight-forward pricing. I liked the store otherwise.****Update, 10 months later. I went there this morning to basically get a little cash out. Picked up some steaks marked with 50% off tags. It turns out that the price isn't reduced when you self check-out. You have to flag down a checker to run them as coupons. Most people probably miss that they are getting charged full price. This is an either an inept or unscrupulous practice.****And in very small print it says "with card".

Great service, clean, nicely organized. Pharmacists very helpful. Various departments are great. Tellers are friendly and engaging. Have good covid protocols. My store of choice.Most patrons are great. This would be a perfect place if the few deranged patrons who decide they don't need to mask or wear the mask over their heads or chins would respect the store requirement, sadly there are those who just don't care about others health and well being.

Love Safeway! Always excellent fresh produce, quality meats and brands. Affordably priced for the quality products.The only thing that I have disdain for is the self checkout stands. When I talked with an employee when they were first being installed I expressed my concern that the self check out would replace actual employees the person said they weren’t worried. Now it is rare to see more than one employee on a check stand regularly. 😕

I gave 2 stars because they do give coupons at check outs only 2 stars because the people that need to Coupon the most, the elderly do not navigate QR codes. That is disappointing if you want to give someone a coupon give them a coupon. When you require them to download an app and use something they don't understand you're taking the coupon away from the people who needed the most

This truly is the safe way. The food is quality, the help is quality, the price is semi less quality. The only reason I ever go to Safeway is because my stupid Moscow brain tells me that winco is a full five minutes away and its totally worth going to safeway instead adding maybe 10 minutes to my shopping. Don't be like me, but respect to Safeway for being closer to my house than any other grocery store.

Open til midnight. Staff are quite friendly yet professional. They don't fill propane after a certain hour. APP is a must have for discounts. HUGE Parking lot.

The coupons do not work. They are a scam. Every time I come to this Safeway, I am always over charged. In this picture, I'm being overcharged $1 for ice cream and $0.11 for yogurt (the coupon applied to 5/6 of the yogurts). The one good thing the store has for it is it's staff, the workers are wonderful.

Freshest beef in town in my opinion. Newer staff still friendly. cheep chicken Monday's! Great coupons in the app. Produce is always fresh. Breakfast burritos in morning are good. Starbucks in the store as well as dvd rental box and carpet cleaner rental available. I don't recommend the fried foods after 545 6ish they get a lil dry by then. I'd give 5 stars but those prices gotta come down a lil first!

Our favorite place to shop in Moscow. The store is quite clean, the employees are friendly without being overbearing, and the deli employees are arguably the best employees that they have there.Grocery pick-up is fast and accurate.

I have gotten several cakes from Safeway Bakery in Moscow, but it wasn't until this last time that I felt truly grateful. My daughter's birthday was coming up and I have just been overly busy at work and wasn't able to make a cake. My daughter wanted her cake from Rosauers and even though I had issues with their customer service and ability to make a cake the way I wanted in the recent past, I had my other daughter call and get a price from them and I was just floored, they wanted a little over $100 for an 8 inch cube cake (just wanted it to look like a sugar cube)! She asked why so high and the girl said that anything over 2 layers is considered a wedding cake, it just blew us away and it certainly was the last straw in our decision to ever go there again.I called the Safeway Bakery and spoke to Evelyn and asked her how much it would cost to do 2, 6inch cube cakes (we changed our idea, originally only needed one cake) with better cream and fresh strawberries in the middle and no decorations. Evelyn was so nice and she gave us a quote that was well under the $100 that Rosauers quoted us and I kept asking her questions like "for both cakes?" and "for cakes that are shaped like cubes?" Evelyn probably thought I was crazy and that's fine because, at that point, I was desperate because there was no way I was going to have time to do it myself. Evelyn reassured me that was the price and I thanked her.Evelyn is amazing, she really helped me that day, when I needed it the most. She is also amazing at her job, she has done other cakes for us, all equally amazing, all done very professionally and she is always nice. I'm sure you're wondering why I haven't taken time to email before, but I think it was just for the very fact that everything fell into place that day and most of it was due to Evelyn's willingness to do her job and to make sure, as a customer, that I was happy and she fulfilled that and much more. We will definitely make Safeway bakery our go-to place for our family's cakes from now on, they're delicious and they're always decorated beautifully, all due to Evelyn, her talents and her great work ethic.Thank you so much!!Michelle

Your Typical Safeway experience. They do carry a lot of local wines, beers, and cider. Produce is good quality and they just expanded the organic section. Meat department is lacking. Some aisles are a bit tight. Having a Starbucks is a bonus for my wife.

I really like this store, and this review is going to focus on the Pharmacy. What a great place! The employees are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The customer service is 10 out of 10 every time I have been there...no matter what day of the week and what time of day. Even though they are always busy they come right over to help with anything you need.

Really like the people that work at Moscow Safeway. They are courteous and helpful, except the manager, Eric. It's frustrating that the shelves are always low in stock. Yesterday what was left - the fresh cut up fruit was dated the 23rd - 26th. The tomatoes are generally soft. Thank goodness we have Rosauers and Walmart.

Moscow Safeway - five starThis Safeway has a fantastic selection; breads, vegetables, fruit, soups, wine, and beer. They have the best plant and flower selection in town as well. The employees at Moscow Safeway or really kind and helpful. If you live on this side of town and don't like driving very far then this is definitely the place to go. As I said the employees are kind and will seek you out if you're by yourself looking confused. They also engage in at the check out and treat you like you're a human being. Bottom line is the employees look like they enjoy working there - you can often see them smiling. There is a really nice guy at the pharmacy - I don't know who he is, but he's awesome. Five stars for the employees at Moscow Safeway.

Don't hire students. Most unreliable employees ever. I can understand someone missing the alarm, illness or some other life calamity but to deliberately not come to work is unacceptable. #CUSTOMERLOST
