Stopped in for breakfast but just missed the cutoff so I had the lunch buffet. Chicken was cold on the inside, gravy tasted like it had cream of wheat in it and was just overall not all that good. Asked the server a simple question and got a snobby response. I was with 3 other people and they said their food was just okay at best. Will not be going back again.

If you're reading this and like a great burger, stop in. You won't be disappointed. This has to be one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I ordered the single bacon cheese burger with fries. This thing was amazing. Hand crafted burger, fresh toppings, the bacon was amazing as well. It came with fresh cut fries......I was in burger heaven. The service was great, staff is super friendly and the place was clean. We were pulling our camp trailer and there was plenty of room to park. This will be a re do for sure.Parking: Plenty of parking, even enough for your rv.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to the Hot Springs. Loved all the knickknacks and gifts for sale. The food was good and so was the coffee. My husband had the sausage breakfast and really enjoyed it. I had a Denver omelette and it was delicious. I love it when food is served piping hot. The hash browns had no seasoning and were a bit bland tasting, but nothing a little salt, pepper, and ketchup couldn't fix. The service was fast and friendly too. Will definitely be stopping by here again when passing through the area.

A nice mom & pop restaurant with friendly service. It took a bit of time to get our food but was worth the wait. Lots of knickknacks decorate the place; ranging from purses to hats and shirts. The salad bar looked good as well but we just had sandwiches.

Just stopped for breakfast. No breakfast after 11am. That sucks because of day lights savings. Ordered the paty melt and finger steaks both of which had a wierd texture. My freind got the buffet had to ask for lettuce. Whopping eight customers and the waitress said we are kinda busy we will get it out soon . Overall bad experience will not be back.

We'd been driving for hours on S95 heading back to Reno and what a beautiful drive it was, that we forgot about the time and we were hungry, not alot of restaurants out that way, so when we came upon this Country Cafe Cabin, we thought ok, well were hungry sure why not.From the outside looking in, looks very small and maybe a good burger experience but we never expected such a treat!The portions were huge, the service was fast, friendly and personable. It felt as though we were at a friends house having a great dinner.So, if ever on 95 you need to stop in and relax and enjoy a nice hot huge meal!!

Nice little place, food was fresh and tasty. My kiddos fries were limp and soggy though. Once we ordered and got our food, our server was not seen again unfortunately.

Just had breakfast here. Aside from the hamsteak being dry, the rest of the food was really really good....the pankcakes are a taste of heaven. See for yourself

Waitress was horrible , she acted as if she didn't even want to be there as if it was only a paycheck, she didn't even come and check on us not even to see if the food was ok or if we needed anything else ... I had to go up to the counter to ask for our coffee, and Ketchup and an extra side of toast , I received a eye roll ! Food was Horrible, we didn't even finish our meal which we ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast, chicken fried steak tasted weird, like it was old, and our food came out cold !!! Will not be back at all !!! Our table was the 4th table in use in the restaurant , you were not busy at all !!! 10-31-23 @ 10 AM

I have eaten at this establishment for years. Normally the food is phenomenal! However this evening 06/17/23, I ordered a dish that I have ordered dozens of times, the chicken fried steak, and was sadly disappointed. The gravy was curdled with milk surrounding the steak. When I spoke to the waitress, she took the plate back to the kitchen. When the plate returned the curdled pieces had been scrapped off with a new gravy placed on the steak that still was surrounded by the original milk. It was very apparent to all at the table that the steak was the original dish. This breaks the Idaho Food Code. This restaurant was always a frequent stop when traveling through the area multiple times a year. After this dish, I will think twice about stopping because the consistency and quality has changed so dramatically.

My husband & I stopped for lunch here after a 2000 mile motorcycle ride over 10 days. This was our last stop before home. I had my 14 wk old toy Aussie puppy in a carrier I wore. Not one restaurant between Emmett Idaho & Sturgis asked me to leave because of my puppy. I have a ESD card for her but hadn't had to use it. After I sat down a hostess/waitress rudely (I felt) told me I could not have my puppy inside. I asked about her being in training as a therapy dog. She was condescending (I felt) & rolled her eyes, telling me emotional support dogs are NOT therapy dogs. At this point I was road weary, sore & my husband was hungry so we moved to the patio. I was upset that she had been so dismissive regarding a persons need for mental health support of any kind. At the same time I didn't have the energy to question her behavior. I have been in supervised mental health recovery for a number of years. It felt like she was judging me for needing a little emotional support. About 10 minutes later another woman left the restaurant with her dog & felt the same way. She said she felt as if she was being looked down on for needing her ESD. There are so many ways this could have been handled. Just be aware, this is not a very inclusive, welcoming or understanding place to stop for a meal. Our personal waitress was wonderful. We had met this restaurants owner in Council & stopped because of his recommendation. We won't do that again.

Excellent pricing, bring your appetite as the burgers are big, lots of portions!Parking: Located off of Highway 95 in Midvale, parking lot, side road parking and a back lot for busses and semi's!

Went here for Mothers Day and we were very disappointed. Nothing like a rubbery rib eye that’s all bloody with a pile of mashed potatoes to soak up the blood and why don’t you just throw some gravy on top of it all and call it good!!! Didn’t know gravy goes on a ribeye. The halibut tasted like grease to say the least. No thank you!
