It’s sad when you see an employee stealing from their own work place. I saw a female employee missing a few teeth putting something in their pocket. Maybe they need to do a better background check. Keep an eye out Zamzows. She was very friendly though.

Horrible customer service. Rudest elderly white haired lady at the register. Gary's not much better. The negative reviews here are spot on to what I experienced as well. No personality and full of attitude like you're bothering them. Never going back to this location. The only saving grace was the young gal working there; the most professional of the bunch.

The good: A good variety of products to choose from.The bad: There’s nothing they can do about rude or discourteous customers but employees have options. While checking out the clerk helping me was interrupted by another customer entering the store. The clerk turned her attention away from me, the current customer. After making my purchase of their product humagreen, I went to apply, but reading the application instructions it began at step 3. Well what happened to steps 1&2? I called, they informed me that humagreen is the 3rd step of the zamzows lawn program. It’s very misleading, although I was informed that humagreen will still be beneficial it’s not made clear that humagreen is a 3 step process.

Went in on June/16/2022 just before 6pm. I was asked if I needed help. I explained what I was looking for. There was definitely miss communication with the older gentleman who was frustrated with my questions, and belittled me for not knowing things. When I asked questions about the product for clarification again. He actually raised his voice at me to the point I stepped back and said “hey all I’m doing is asking questions”. In an effort to calm him down. He was still heated after this so I exited the building/situation. All I was looking for was a fungicide for my home garden. Customer service 0/10 I know they have good products for top Dollar, and I was willing to pay that just all around frustrating.

So if you live in Idaho, you will find your way to a Zamzows someday. Then wonder how you managed without them. Awesome chain, and the Middleton branch is by far my personal favorite of the ones I've been to. Haven't had a single bad experience and I've been there a lot. Personnel very helpful and kind.

Always very good customer service. Young man helped me bring my many plants in to store and put everything in my car. Everyone there is always friendly and knowledgeable which explains one reason I have so many plants!🙄

In my opinion, the houseplants at this location are either actually dying or close to it. What a difference to see the beautiful, healthy houseplants at the Eagle store! It is so small, the selection of products is just not as wide as the Eagle or Chinden locations. Will not be back.

Sadly I just had the worst customer service experience at this Zamzows. The sales person asked if she could help. I needed crabgrass and nut sedge remover for my lawn. Even though they had the product this salesperson says no no no it’s not the right time and starts talking about pre-emergent when we’re going into fall. . I didn’t ask for her opinion yet she gave it to me. They had the products too which kills me. What kind of salesperson tells you no. If I want to put crabgrass or nut sedge killer on my lawn “why is it any of your business”? Is that called an anti-salesperson? I won’t be back....

I LoVED stopping in here! The lady was so nice and sweet to me and my daughter. We found really awesome plants (the reason we stopped in) and their prices were awesome also. Zamzows in Middleton is a great store. 💞

Cutest little Zamzows I ever did see! Exceptionally knowledgeable, attentive and friendly staff. I have never gone here and left unsure about what to do with whatever lawn or pet problem I have. This is true for all Zamzows I've been to but the middleton store is just so stinkin CUTE! If you're in the area swing by and love on their resident cat or chat up the cashier, you won't be disappointed.

Went in for some advice on a newly sodded yard and they were very helpful. Gave me great information on what I needed to do to get it to stick and pointed me to their in house fertilizer. Will be back for all my lawn and garden needs!

If you need help with your lawn or garden, this is a great place to go! The knowledgeable staff can help you diagnose tree problems and bugs in your garden. They can even present natural and organic solutions to get rid of your insects. Let it be know, Grandma Z's Fish and Potato Dog food rules!!!

I wish I could give a negative star. Gary, at the middleton store is a sorry excuse for management. Grandma z would be embarrassed . Bad service and advice. Rule #1, never, ever claim the customer is lying. I wouldn't walk in there to fart. Thanks but no thanks Bamzows the clowns.

Always personable and they ordered portulaca for me when I couldnt find it. Very generous with information on lawn care snd gardening and offer a loaner spreader for fertilizing, etc.

Zamzows are my favorite store to get information and advice about my gardening needs. You've always had the proper tools and supplies that I needed to get my garden in yard up and going or to put it to bed in the winter. Zamzows is always near my home and will always be my go-to place for gardening and Lawn.
