Happy to have finally made the switch to Top Dog after living in Middleton for nearly 2 years!Coming from another groomer in Boise, I really appreciate the fact they asked me what I was looking for in my poodle/mix's cut; the last groomer never helped me with options so I really didn't know what to do with him!The technicians were incredibly nice in going over everything. The groomers isn't my dogs favorite place so they were gentle and slow with walking him back. I also really appreciate that they're willing to work with dogs who may have challenges being groomed; they want to help the dog work through those obstacles to make it better for everyone(dog).The only thing I'll mention to make YOUR life is easier is: sometimes they're busy and they are a small crew. Give yourself an extra window incase something happens with their grooming load.Thank you, Top Dog!

My Katie girl went into shock, stopped breathing and because of their fast and experienced workers she was revived and I got to pick her up and she is just fine. They are wonderful, and always do such a great job on our terrier mix dog. She's super skittish, but they're very sweet to her and manage to get her looking good when she's less than cooperative. They also trim or Chihuahua's nails and he's a grumpy little guy, but they get it done quickly and don't let his grumblings bother them! I highly recommend them

My two chups and I are visiting from out of town and I noticed they were in real need of a nail trim. I was able to walk in with them without an appointment and were seen pretty much right away. I have to say, both of my dogs were received with compassion, understanding and patience. One of my dogs is pretty difficult due to her very dark black nails and bad previous experiences, but THESE ladies were able to clip my dogs nails NO problem! Didn’t have to give her any chill pills and didn’t have any attitude towards my dog. I appreciate the way they handled my pets, they’re real pros. 10/10 Reccomend them.

They are great. They take the time to show you how to take care of your dog's coat at home and don't shame if you have mats. They are really good with the dogs and my anxious dog didn't mind going back for her nail trim.

They were so friendly and were willing to work longer hours during a busy day to make sure our puppy was taken care of! We had no idea our boy could look so great!Update: They did such a great job today I wanted to leave a review, turns out I already did 3 years ago. We've been to a lot of different places in that time with our labradoodle. Lesson learned. This is the only place to go.

Best groomer ever!! I picked up my daughter's dog after he was groomed a few weeks ago. I asked Brittany about grooming my dog because my dog is very aggressive towards other animals. She showed me a separate room where she grooms animals with "issues". I scheduled an appointment. When we arrived she greeted us and made my dog feel very comfortable! I was amazed! Top Dog Grooming is well worth the trip from ANYWHERE in the Treasure Valley!!

Brittney was amazing with Bailey,my 5 1/2 month Goldendoodle, his second time at a groomer so I wasn't sure how he would react. She was very loving and he warmed up to her fast. The salon was clean and calm, and had a very welcome feeling to it. I knew when I left that he was in good hands. When I picked him up, he looked fantastic and was very happy and his playful self. You could tell she took very good care of him. I truly recommend Top Dog Grooming, it's so hard to build that trust with a groomer, however Brittney made it very easy. They did a fantastic job on my terrier mix. My only issue was the price, this was my first time here & it cost $10 more than any other dog groomer I've gone to in the TV. I think $52 for an easy to groom, 20 lb terrier mix is a little too high, even though they did an excellent job.

I have taken my dog here previously to have her nails trimmed and they have always done a good job. They also always have told me I don’t need an appointment for a nail trim. This time when I took my dog in for a nail trim the gal was very short and frazzled. My dog was clearly scared but she continued to rush and be stern. When another employee offered to help and give advise she was also rude to her. I will not be bringing my dog back here. If you are to busy to provide services to animals with care and respect don’t take on more customers than you can handle.

The service here was amazing! They were able to get me in short notice right before Thanksgiving, and were so good with my dog that was nervous. I could tell they did an amazing job with him because when I came to pick him up he was so happy and not in any hurry to leave, he kept running back and forth to them for pets and loves! Definetly will be coming here from now on.

Made an appointment for my malamute to have a bath and brush and was quoted $90-$120...a lot of money, but reasonable for the size of dog and the mats that he had. Brought him in for the appt, the lady hadn't even gotten there yet... and she said he was going to be more, wouldn't give me a price and was being rude to me and the other lady that was there trying to check her dog in. She just kept saying, 'well he's a big dog mam", "he's going to be a lot of work." Yep, that's right Malamutes are big dogs...I told you when I made the appointment what kind of dog he was. She still refused to give me a price and picked up his tail and said "look at that". I said "I'll take him somewhere else and she said okay. Apparently she's the owner...seemed like she just wasn't in the mood to work that day, lucky me...save yourself some trouble and take your pets somewhere else...now I have to schedule somewhere else and wait a few weeks again.

I took my two Aussies here to be shaved and they look amazing! For the past 10 years I’ve shaved my dogs myself every spring to help keep fox tails and other weeds out of them since they are farm/cattle dogs. Their fur is very difficult to shave. I can’t believe how good Top Dog Grooming made them look. I almost don’t want to let them out in the ranch.

Amazing people. My dog runs in and gives them kisses. He is not stressed when he jumps out of car and when he leaves and comes home he is great. Oh other groomers he would come home and itch not here. Happy dog happy owner's. By the way I have had show dogs years ago and I am picky. I also own a breed that is NOT common.

I took my little dog Moxie here first along with a dog I had at the time named Azula. They did really well but moxie wasn’t even trimmed. Just a bath and dry and nail cut. Which wasn’t bad but not what I had requested. Tried to make an appointment again today and the woman who answered was really rude, clipped and short with me. (and claimed “we don’t do small dogs”.) Well then why did you take my small dog previously? All in all I wouldn’t go here again. I would also suggest finding somewhere else.

I was eating next door and saw Emily taking out dogs to relieve themselves. I have never seen a groomer take the time to do that and knew they were the place for my dog grooming. My silky terrier has arthritis and cushings disease, Brittany is amazing in working with my "Joey" and making sure he is comfortable and she truly cares for your pet. Highly Recommend Brittany and her staff!

I bring my dog in for nail trims and the ladies here are so helpful and patient. My pup is very nervous about getting her nails done but they do a great job and ate very affordable at Top Dog Grooming.

Absolutely great! I highly recommend! They did a great job on my dog that has fur like shagg carpet and my dog has super bad trust issues and he acted like he had known her all his life! Great place! Thank you so much!
