Unfortunately Sportsman's is under new management at the headquarters. In just a matter of weeks their floor space has been cut 43% a lot of the taxidermy has been taken down, which sadly was my kiddos favorite thing to look at. Especially mainly being locally focused. I can see them shifting to a highend market pretty much everything clothing wise now is all Sitka, Simms, etc. which does not fit our local market. They carry even less localized fishing gear for salmon, steelhead, and sturgeon. Their fly fishing section is absolutely pathetic now. It is also pretty much only staffed by highschool aged kids that if they're not just standing around talking don't have any knowledge on what they're selling. Sadly as much as I hate to say it I will not be suggesting anyone there or be shopping there myself much longer. I would definitely go to North 40 better selections and typically a dollar or two cheaper on the same products. Even though Sportsman's claims to match or beat prices I've yet to see it happen.

Worst experience I have ever had in a sportsman warehouse. Came in around 2pm on a Saturday with no one to help me. There was one cashier for the whole store who was quite slow while her coworkers just stood around not helping. Waited in line for about 20 minutes for the price to ring up wrong. Apparently they priced the item wrong on the floor and didn’t want to adjust it for me. All while this was happening an off the clock employee was chatting up the cashier and telling me I was the person that moved the product on the floor. I would give this store a 0 if I could. Worst Sportsman Warehouse I’ve been at in this Nation.

Very friendly employees! I have been shopping in this store for years. They helped me with what I wanted and were very helpful. They have more experience.

The new fishing manager they have in there is super rude and egotistical. I asked a simple question and he immediately shut me down and said I was dead wrong and need to stop talking. I left the fishing department to get some new camping equipment and was headed toward check out when I seen him yelling at a cashier with a beard about how he isn’t allowed to be further than 4 feet from his register even if he is the only cashier on shift. I go in here all the time and it seems like the new fishing manager and store manager are ruining things. They treat all the employees like slaves or work dogs.

If you are into outdoor hunting, fishing, camping, and other activities, this is the place to go. They have a well stocked and well organized store. The customer help is well above average.

I live in colfax. I called to make sure someone from archery would be there. Was told yes someone was there. Drove all the way down and was told he doesn’t work weekends. But was offered help if I wanted to come in during the week. Sorry but I have a job. I cant afford to take off work for that. Can’t stand being lied to. I won’t be back.

Sportsman's cancelled half of my online order, charged me full price for the entire order, and refused to give me a refund for the item that was sent to me. They offered a credit for a fraction of what they screwed me over for. I will never buy something from Sportsman's again.

The people here are always so helpful and friendly, and I go here a lot. There's plenty of free parking and handicap parking, and they allow your dogs to go in.

The evening shift employees seem inconvenienced by your presence in the store (with the exception of some very friendly and helpful gentlemen at the gun counter).We wanted to try on clothes and rang the bell at the fitting room serval times. No one came. So we went up to the counter and asked the person working the scanner if someone could be paged to the dressing rooms. No one came. We waited just over 15 minutes in total and weren’t helped, so we left.Store is very clean though and we’ll stocked. No complaints about the store itself, just the customer service.This review is the result of multiple visits over several months, not just one bad experience.

This place is going down in flames. Went there on the 4th of July and although it was nice they were open they were not prepared to have a few customers usually anymore there is only a couple cars in the parking lot but they probably had a dozen to 15 people in there and could not accommodate service to the shoe section.

DO NOT GO AFTER 5PM. The parking lot has 75% of their lights that need to be replaced. It's dark & dangerous.... too easy for thieves. Stay aware.

Every time I go here I get frustrated with the terrible customer service. We rang the fitting room bell 4-5 times and waited 15 minutes and nobody ever came to help. Many of these boots are stored in the back and you need someone to grab them yet nobody is ever near the clothing section to do so.Only reason I go here is to look at gear before buying it elsewhere.

Bought my steelhead gear at the sportsman's Whrehouse and hooked up pretty good. My $700 Okama rod broke while casting. So I don't recommend that brand at all.

My mom calls this yhe man store lol. They used to be much more friendly to men than women. I think that has changed. Everyone was super friendly and we found the cutest youth sleeping bag!

This is a good place to shop for your hunting, fishing needs, camping or outdoor needs! Saw some camping gears at a discounted price. Prices are competitive and staff are friendly and ready to help. I like it when somebody in the store ask you if you find things ok or if you might need assistance. Lots of parking right next to the store.

Awesome place for anything outdoors from clothing to guns. Great ammo collection rimfire included. Great knife selection but can sometimes be difficult to get an employee to show you the knives. That being said this is my go to for anything i need. Good prices.

Customer service SUCKS..!!!Been in the Lewiston store twice and WAS going to spend almost 600 dollars the first time and 200 the second time. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO HELP A CUSTOMER. PLACE SUCKS..!!

I went to the archery desk to ask if they could diagnose the cause of arrow wobble in flight. Chad had me bring it right in and after a few tests determined the cams were out of time and the rest not aligned properly. He got me fixed up right away and had me shoot. It was like having a bran new bow. I bought this bow bran new from a very reputable shop. They put a custom string on it when I purchased but apparently never checked the timing. It has a solid back when at full draw for the first time since purchased. I always just thought the soft back when full drawn was just how that bow was. Could not be more impressed with Chads knowledge and helpfulness in getting the issues fixed right away.
