My favorite place to go for ALL things outdoor related. They have amazing prices, as well as an incredible product selection. As far as I know they have the best recycle policy for car,truck,tractor and utv batteries out of anyone! I take all my batteries there for a $10 in store credit which is amazing! Definitely the place to go and browse if you haven't been there.

Great outdoor store. Mostly for farm and ranch but also caters to city yard maintenance. Nice fishing and hunting supplies. Large store staff can help you find things.

As I pulled into the parking lot & gazed at the large building, I was instantly filled with excitement. Giddy, I imagined my many DIY project plans, leaping from the pages of my notebook & into reality. Upon crossing the store's threshold, I immediately recalled why I avoid the place like the plague. Endless possibilities stretched out before me, everything I could possibly need & more. Unfortunately, according to my budget calculations I can only afford free. I walked around reading product info & admiring this & that. I must have fallen into a black hole/time warp type thingy, because before I knew it, 5 hours had flown by & it was closing time. I saw lots of cool & interesting things & I look forward to returning someday. In the meantime I took pictures so I'd have a visual reminder of products & their prices.

This was a really good sports store. It had a large selection of clothing and sporting goods. Their gun section looked very good and their ammo was in very well supply. It was like a tractor supply and sporting good store on steroids. We enjoyed it.

Customer service in the gun department was horrible. Of course, I went elsewhere to purchase all my guns, ammo and targets and wrote the gun department off at North 40 Lewiston, Idaho. It only takes one time and a whole lot of word of mouth. He was the short, skinny guy with glasses. I'll point him out as I'm sure not all people in the gun department are ignorant and rude and not helpful at all in helping to get a brand new Stainless steel Springfield Garrison 1945. I actually got it in WA and saved money and they had the tannerite I've been looking for!

Employees everywhere, if you can not find what you are looking for. There is always an employee close by, and they will take you the product. Even though it is not their area!! Very wonderful place to shop!!

Absolute favorite store in Idaho! They have it all: guns, tackle, Ammo, farm gear, tools, clothes, and every cool think you knew you needed and didn’t know you needed!

This is just a great store, picture the best sportsman's store meets home depot! We hate Home Depot, so if we need a widget or a pipe, caulking or nail, we start at North 40. If you need walking, hunting or work boots their selection is fantastic, and there's always a clerk around to give some assistance. Every type of working man's jeans is available with deep sizing availability, as well as shirts and long underwear. I don't know what most of the things are, but it appears you can build your farm from the ground up, with irrigation, machinery, tanks, etc. available. Guns and ammo, huge fishing department... I could go on, but the point is if you're an outdoorsy type, you need to visit them. There's always a clerk to steer you in the right direction!

I went into this store on 2/11/24 indending on buying a firearm when i went to purchase I was laughed at by the counter person helping me as i am a washington resident and i had no idea the laws had changed and i could not purchase the firearm as of jan 1st 2024. the situation was frustraiting enough but getting rudly laughed at by the counter person was uncalled for. ill be making my usually north 40 purchases at other local buisness now. i know nobody cares about customer service any more especially large buisness but thats what happened nontheless.

I was visiting friends in Lewiston for several days and they took me there to show me what items they offered. I was very impressed on what they had and how big this store was. Prices was reasonable on many items and found some hard to find and unusual items too. Very friendly staff along with knowledgeable about what they sell.

So this is one of my favorite stores, but I went there today to get inserts for my arrows I previously purchased there and the kid at the archery department tells me they don't sell inserts for the arrows that they sell. Unbelievable. I will say I've always felt the archery department is far from the best part of this store.

Service was ok they honored a mismarked price but acted like it was my fault they mismarked it......also was followed after about 5 mins in the store and was never asked if I needed help ....also the guy cleaning the flore literally complained because I was in the isle he wanted to buff.....

Went there to get a jacket for my sister before our flight because she left hers at my parents’ house. Big selection to choose from and the store looked like a lot of fun to browse; we just didn’t have the time. Found what we needed, and even came across some real Idahoan cowboys in the parking lot! I was happy with our trip.

This has happened several times now but today I called to find out if they had certain parts that I was looking for. The guy I spoke to (Paul) said he THINKS they have them. I told him I live 25 miles from them and I don't want to make the trip if they didn't have what I needed. I asked him to confirm that they do have the parts. He said yes we have them I said great I will be on my way!I get to the store, Paul is out to lunch and another employee comes to help and informs me that they DO NOT have what I needed and that Paul didn't know what he was talking about!This cost me a 50 mile round trip, time and fuel for NOTHING!Management says they are sorry, I aggre that they are!

Best store around that meets the agricultural communities needs! Every one I go to makes me hope we get one in my town. Ranch and home and tractor supply fall way short compared to north 40 and I have no problem driving 2 hours to get far better quality at the same price or even way cheaper.
