It was only to inform them they need to be honest about the ages and physical condition of their animals. Being 12 years old rather than 4. As well as the physical condition of the animal. Based on information the day of adoption it should not cost 600$ less than 24 hours later for a procedure that was said to be unnecessary for 6 to 12 months. It was 2000k and one year before he was sent to the Bridge for kidney failure.

We went to go adopt an adult dog. We were welcomed with open arms everyone was professional skilled friendly knowledgeable. The place is clean well maintained and well cared for. Definitely recommend if you're going to adopt adopt here. No animals are harmed. Please donate they are trying to get another building.

Worst place to get your animal spayed or neutered! I have always got our animals fixed here due to low cost and reasonable price. But we got our last cat fixed a couple years ago and our female cat is still in HEAT!

Great staff, friendly. They have a lot of animals outside in pens you can walk around. Some potential adopters who don't understand animal behavior staring intently at some of the more aggressive/scared animals. 😒 Went here for low cost last minute vaccines for dog boarding for a last minute trip. Moderate wait (15 minutes). They were busy, but the vet took the time to explain some findings on my aging pup and recommend some changes which was helpful.

The staff was terrific in helping find solutions for some feral kittens and cats. Not only did they recommend a product to help the kittens with digestive issues they helped direct me in spaying and neutering the feral colony. The care the feral cats received from the shelter was professional and caring.

Amazing staff! All my dogs have been adopted here, and always will be. I would rather support my local shelter than ASPCA I have been supporting. Plan to cancel that, and send my monthly check here, hoping they get a new shelter. Shop local!!!!

We come to give some love to the animals. We haven't found an animal that seems to fit into our family. But they always welcome us to visit the animals. The staff is kind and always treats us very well. It's a great place to donate.

They are great for helping animals, but some of the staff are very rude and not very helpful. They have yet to answer ANY of my multiple emails about my missing pet and have been rude whenever my fiance has gone in person to see if our furbaby had been brought in. They also do not update their website or post all the pets found or available for adoption, which is very upsetting and makes me wonder why they have the website at all.

They are awesome! I just moved to this area and I fell into hard times and couldn't afford any dog food and had none for my two dogs. They hooked it up with a bunch of dog food and dog bones. The staff was very helpful and friendly and even showed me locations for cheap neutering. The location is kind of hard to get to on maps because it brings you to a old rundown house trashed area with very malnourished dogs. If you keep going up the hill there is a very nice facility that they are actually at and are looking on changing locations because of this reason.

Make sure you get it in writing, because they will and did "bump" our interest in a dog for one of their volunteers who "wasn't sure" and just became sure after we were told we could pick him up after the 10th of May. BUT now, we don't get KODA unless the "volunteer" doesn't pick him up on the 12th of May after 430pm.

Caring staff and reasonable prices. They guarantee your fur-ever friend to be a good fit.I was brought to tears, as an elderly man there picking up his senior pup.(It had been brought to the shelter, because the gentleman went in the hospital and nobody could care for his dog.) The dog was adopted out, then brought back, because it wasn't a good fit. When the elderly gentleman got well, he was able to get his dog back! Such a Happy Ending!

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. We adopted "bingo" from them and could not be happier. This was the best experience I have had. I wanted to look at shelters to "save" a dog instead of buying one but bingo has done so much more for my family than he will ever know. I recommend Lewis Clark animal shelter if you are ever looking for any animal. I can not thank the staff enough for helping us adopt the best dog in the whole wide world.
