Disappointed, just made a purchase of several items, get home then read email from my credit card company stating that if I made a purchase there in the next three days that I would get 25% cash back for my birthday. I called and asked the associate if it would be possible to return everything and repurchase it to get my birthday reward and he said no, there's no way that's possible. Being in retail management, I would have definitely accommodated my loyal customer. I guess I will just return everything and make my purchase somewhere else. Thank you big lots for helping me realize that you don't cater to your valued customers.

There's a fine line between providing good customer service by assisting them witb their needs and being pushy. One of the associates asked me 5 times in under 15 minutes if I needed help. I could understand if it was different associates or if I was in the store for A LOT longer, but from the time I walked in to the time I walked out was just shy of 20 minutes. Asking that many times definitely crosses into being pushy, to me.

Not bad spent 12 years in this store as a Salesman. It was Sears back in the day though. The help can sometimes be unfriendly and not very helpful. Basically your on your own.

We used to browse here often. We no longer do.The cleanliness, customer service, and item selection have steeply declined over the past couple years.We may give it another try, in the future, next time we have a DIY project. But then again, we may not.

The cashier wasn't as friendly as they usually are. A little short with us but still a good experience. I always find so much I need at big lots and the prices are great compared to other department stores

Purchased a table online and called the store to ask to hold it until a certain date, they said yes that that wasn't a problem. I get a call a week later saying the manager has told them that I have to pick it up the next day or they are cancelling my order. Instead of trying to work with me on it after being told false information, I'm given an incredibly short deadline with no apologies or anything like that. Absolutely poor customer service, will not be buying from them again.I'd like to add that the employees I've talked to have been great. However, Management seems otherwise.

As far as I know this is one of the last good retail stores in the Lewis/Clark Valley apart from Walmart and not everyone wants to drive all that way from the Orchards for the stuff they need or wait for a package in the mail. It's small and compact, but packed with so many household essentials in a convenient location. I'd love to see this place get more business.

Health and beauty is the best section-their name brand items are priced lowest in the area. Also great variety of snacks and canned foods. Like a dollar general or kings-they have a little bit of everything.

I shop here fairly frequently. Pretty good deals. Not sure what they'll carry at any given time. Seem to have good employees especially manager. Toy section not that great, but neither are other stores. Seasonal stock is good.

I loved their Buy One Get One 50% Off deal! Was able to get the curtains for this huge window for WAAAY cheap!! Everybody loves them! I will be back to finish up the touches of dark blue in my living room! So many things you guys have at such great prices! 😁

For some reason my husband loves Big lots, this was my first time ever visiting they had some really cool Christmas gifts and the store was very clean and organized.

Its ok if you wanna shop for stuff Walgreens doesnt want. The customer service is 50/50 pretty decent for xmas stuff. otherwise it always looks like they let two dogs fight in there

I went to Big Lots in the evening on 4/17/21, I was treated pretty rudely. I was charged for a full size sofa, when I had bought a love seat. They told me it was the same price & weren't even going to look into it. I became insistent someone look into the pricing, because it didn't make sense a love seat would cost the same as a full size couch. That's when I began being treated like a problem by the staff. A woman "helped" to cash me out. She was obviously aggravated by me. She resentfully checked their sales prices and found there was a difference in pricing. She didn't apologize, but took the difference on another purchase I was making. She didn't give me the option of having the funds refunded to my card. I could tell I wasn't going to get anywhere with them so I gave up and took the discount. The woman's tone was passive aggressive. I'm a loyal customer of Big Lots and I enjoy shopping at their store. I have bought furniture, home décor, groceries, and supplies for work. During this encounter, I felt like telling the staff I would no longer be shopping there & neither would my place of business, which is a large company in Lewiston. But I didn't think they would have cared. Later when I got home, I called Big Lots and asked to speak with the manager, his name was AJ. He was just as indifferent. As I told him about how I felt, I heard him sigh. Wow. When I was done saying what I had to say (in which I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe it had been a busy day for her, etc) all AJ had to say was "Well we made it right for you so...." NO apology, NO empathy. He was just a dismissive and passive aggressive as his cashier was. I don't plan to let this go. I'm going to call on Monday and maybe speak with a more customer service- oriented person. If you plan to go to Big Lots, just be aware their closing shift refuses to handle their customers concerns well.

Awful service, I purchased an item that had several on the shelf, the price on the shelf was 20.00 at checkout it rang 22.00 checker pretty much said oh well. I told her she better remove the other items or change the price
