Soda was completely flat, the kids didn't know how to do the co so they offered us a couple of warm waters instead.The food smelled like the oil was really old, I took a piece of the hamburger and tasted gamey.Bottom line we were just scared of the whole experience and didn't ate the meal.

Food is great! Reasonable pricing for a restaurant in Lava. Around $11 for a burger. We loved the garlic fries. Kids meal for $6 with fries, corn dog, and drink. 4 stars for the food and a bonus star for the atmosphere.

Such a cool experience! There’s seating on the upper deck of the bus, so it was really fun to sit up there. The garlic Parmesan fries are so good 😋😋 my 7 year old did have one complaint though… he says the Hot Dog was “too big” 😆

We took a break from a day of tubing to grab lunch and honestly, couldn’t have been happier with the food and service! You really can’t beat a $6 kids meal nowadays and the service was just as awesome. $9 for a cheeseburger didn’t feel too high for being a tourist spot and lemme tell ya, it hit the spot.The fries might have been a little undercooked, but the garlic parm flavor was so good.Pro tip: ask to buy a few Capri Suns to toss at thirsty tubers that float by. This was absolutely a highlight for the kids.Kid-friendliness: The kids ate almost 100% of their food and the employees were so nice to them.

So sad to give this place a one-star rating. The place had a fun atmosphere. It was located on the river. The people were very nice. The fries were amazing. However, the burger was definitely NOT worth the price. The hamburger with thin and burned. The cheese slice was thicker than the hamburger itself. I would definitely not recommend the hamburger. 😞

What a fun place!!! Door was good and reasonable. Large hot dogs and good burgers. My son (12) gave it a ten out of ten. Very friendly staff here too.Best part was the setting. Upstairs there is plenty of cover seating with several tables. They have outdoor seating too. From all these areas you can watch the river. Very fun place.

What a neat little gem tucked away right by the river! Place was slammed but the staff were so friendly and efficient. We had a larger order and within 15-20 minutes had all of our food hot and so tasty!! Loved the view from up top the bus and the manager was right, it’s hot up there, but the view and uniqueness countered all of that!! This is definitely on the top of our list of things to do when we return!! Totally recommend!!

Got two cheeseburger meals, cost over $30 for burger patties that were smaller than McDonald’s kids meals, a tiny portion of fries and a water bottle or can of soda. Would be more okay with the price if they gave you more food! Potatoes are cheap, don’t skimp on the fries! Maybe they portion better on different nights, but I don’t recommend going on a Sunday. Should probably give the kitchen crew some better training, like at least explain to them the burger patty should be the same size around as the bun, not have a one inch gap all around. 😬

Loved the gourmet burgers and homemade garlic fries! Such an amazing place for Lava because we didn't have to bring our grandkids into a busy packed restaurant and we could sit outside at the tables by the river. The managers were great...they were fun, fast and accommodating besides grilling up the best burgers ever! The burger bus is our favorite Lava food. Thanks Jake and Libby for taking care of us!

the price was okay, but the food was disappointing. the cheese on the burger wasn’t melted and the meat was mushy. the fries were so salty that i had to wipe off the grains of salt to enjoy them. the service was poor. i get that people can be new employees or whatever but there were multiple interactions with the staff that fell flat. keep in mind i paid around 17$ for my meal so my expectations were a lil higher. half of my group went to a different place and i regret not going with them.

OBSESSED with this cute double decker bus! the whole vibe to this place is amazing and the food is as well. The river next to it is relaxing and such a perfect combination with the vibe of the bus. you can sit outside or up top of the bus! so cute and such delicious food. All and all together could spend all my days in a vibe like this. I highly recommend!!

Don't waste your money here. Double cheeseburger was tiny, one iceburge lettuce leaf, tomato and onion on the side. Hot dog was cold. Parm and garlic fries were too salty and soggy, and somehow burnt at the same time. Ordering food was disorganized. Only ate here because we had already walked to this location and had a hungry toddler that didn't want to walk any further. We then waited 1 hr for food to be ready. Only reason why it gets a 1 star is because it is next to the river and you can watch tubers go down. They don't have a restroom to use, told us to go to the portable restrooms on the other side of the lawn/park. They dont let you dine inside the decker bus either. Please stay away!!!!

There’s nothing better than getting off the river and slamming a burger and fries. I’ve eaten here several times and never had to wait more than about 20 minutes; this was during their busy time. Food is great, parmesan fries are killer. I can’t wait to get back there.

I’m not one to leave reviews, and I will try to leave a review that is accurate.1.The location is great and the tourist attraction of the double decker bus is cool. There is outdoor seating next to the river which makes eating and waiting for your food a delight.2. The food made me laugh as I was expecting the burger in the photos I saw on google. Some photos show a gourmet burger with a pretzel bun but what I got was a little 3 oz burger that looked with everything thrown together from across the room with oily fries. That was after a 50 minute wait.I just didn’t appreciate spending 30 bucks for two meals that if it was at a fast food joint would be classified as dollar menu items.It’s a fun touristy thing to do but don’t expect much from the food.

So good!!! If you’re patient and find a time to order food that is not during their rush hour , you’re going to eat one of the best god damn burgers there is. No joke.These people work super hard and there’s only like two of them working at a time… so be realistic when ordering. They usually always have a long wait time but any time that is not rush hour you’re going to be good !! Thank you guys for serving really good food.

We waited for over 45 to receive our food, which I wasn’t too bothered by because I assumed the food would be really greasy. Unfortunately the fries and the burgers were completely cold. Ours was the first order to come out of the kitchen in over 39 minutes so I am not sure how that could happen. I assume they just let it sit for 15-20 minutes while they took other orders. We ended up spending around 40 dollars on 2 cold burgers 2 orders of cold fries and 2 Luke warm sodas

This experience was terrible. I called the owner before hand by one hour to let them know we had a party of 20 coming at 1:30. Once we got there the employees showed up late to work and told us they couldn’t start our burgers for 30 mins, Not a problem, we sat to wait. Once we ordered it took them 2.5 hours to cook 20 burgers. It was a joke, the employees were not nice they kept telling us to be patient. We finally got our lunch by dinner time. 4:00pm. I would say don’t go unless you are willing to wait 3 hours for your food. Not recommended!!

I've never left a review for anything but this one deserves it. First off, way overpriced for what you get (over $70 for 4 burgers, 4 fries and 3 cans of soda). Second, after an hour and a half someone in our party finally went down to see what was going on and found our food sitting on a table getting cold, when she told the lady that was our order, the lady argued with her. Finally got our cold food after almost 2 hours. No apology, no explanation, no trying to make things right. It's a neat idea and a nice spot but that was the first and last time I'll go there

Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while, the garlic parm frys were really good also! They also toasted the bun which I love. My partner said it was one of the best burgers she’s had in a minute! The beef patty seemed like it was hand made and not frozen!

Your loud music that you blare, hoping to attract customers, totally disrupted my experience while soaking. We stayed at The Lava Hotel, and you are located right next to their private pool. I have stayed at The Lava in the past and came back because of the QUIET private pool, so it was so very disappointing to have to deal with your extremely loud and mostly outdated music while trying to enjoy a peacful soak. Your music can't even be heard from the main street, so all you are doing is hurting another business' business by blasting music as loud as possible. Please consider another form of marketing!
