Absolutely love this shop! We wandered in to take a look and ended up spending a couple of hours there and even came back the next day! Charlotte was delightful! She answered all of our questions, looked up the different stones for us and I think we tried on just about every size 7 ring in the shop. We’ll definitely be back!

Just went in today and instantly got a bad vibe from the lady that runs it. She treated everyone of her potential customers as if they were thieves and going to steal. My friend asked to look at a ring and she gave some attitude until my friend bought the ring and then she was quick to change her tune but only to my friend. Just rude I would’ve bought something if she wasn’t so RUDE!

Initially didn't go in expecting much. Just a typical gift shop. Had very cool products. Lots of nice art and trinkets. I ended up getting a pop gun for my son and a ring for my wife. The worker was so nice. The ring didn't end up fitting my wife's finger so the cashier let us come back and exchange it for another. Amazing service and great products. Loved my visit here.

Some very nice Native American made items, rugs, Katchina Dolls, knives, bowls, etc. Notice posted "Authentic ..." native artists sign some of their merchandise. A bit pricey for the average senior. Attendant was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Easy for a wheelchair to get in n out of.

We love this shop. Staff are friendly and great about answering questions. She often will tell me where the craftsmen are out of and about the products. It's hard to find tourism trinkets specific to Idaho but they have a great selection.

Beautiful items to buy. Great quality and there is something for everyone. A very kind lady working the jewelry counter and cash register helped price out an antler for me. Will return anytime I am at lava.

Lot's of cool stuff here! We found all kinds of awesome trinkets, animal skins, knives, and cool crafting materials. Walked away with some really cool coyote and bobcat claws. Super cool place!

What a quaint an amazing little nook in town and beautiful items for sale or a little souvenir to remeber lava hot springs by its was hard to hold back the wallet from going crazy in there with the options they had be sure to do yourselves a favor and stop in! If you don't buy something I would be surprised but guarentee you'll find something you like or would buy! 🤠

I really wanted to buy a beautiful ring from this place but as soon as I asked to look at one, the old lady behind the counter was SO RUDE!! She rolled her eyes and had to get up off her chair and was not interested at all in helping me find a ring. Maybe she was having a really bad day but it left me leaving the place and not buying any of her beautiful rings.

My daughter and her friend really enjoyed visiting Dempsey Creek Trading. They did wish that their collection of silver rings would have been updated with new options, but they still found a couple they couldn't live with out. We will never visit Lava Hotsprings without picking up a souvenir from this cute shop.

This is a review for the place next door. I wish they were on google maps so I could warn everyone. They charged me $109 for two water guns and one tshirt. If I didn’t have a good heart I’d wreck their whole store up. Like who in the hell charges that much for dollar store items?

We walked in to purchase rings. The woman who helped us was hesitant to even pull the rings out. When she did, she was extremely short and didn’t really want to assist us. We moved over to allow her to help others checking out, and she made a comment as if we were going to take something. Needless to say we left without purchasing anything and will not be returning. Out of 10 others in the store we were the only customers treated this way so it’s hard not to assume it’s because we appear to be Hispanic.

This is the nearest, most wonderful place. The operator is the most wonderful, kindest, and warmest person you will ever meet. There is such an eclectic selection of merchandise that you will have trouble deciding what to take home. Don't come to Lava without visiting Dempsey Creek!!!

Loved visiting this shop while passing through on a cross country roadtrip! Right on main street by the hot springs and they were super pet friendly towards my two scotties in the shop. A neat little store with cool souvenirs!

Customer service is horrible. They seem to stereotype all younger looking people into a group of thieves or non-customers. I walked in with a lot of cash on hand, and left with all of it. I would not recommend this place.
