The French Dip sandwich and cheese burger we had were very good. The fries that came with our sandwiches were first rate and the serving size was very generous. We felt that it would be worth going out of our way to eat here again. The place was clean including the restrooms. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable. We will recommend Hardware Brewing to our friends & family.

My wife and I have been to Hardware Brewing several times after it recently re-opened under new ownership. Service is outstanding and the food is great. Today we stopped in and I tried a special of the day, a chimichanga plate. I honestly did not have very high expectations. I mean, yeah, the food has been good here, but now we are talking Mexican food. Small restaurant. Kendrick, Idaho. Hardware Brewing. Put all of those things together and you don’t really expect to have an incredible south of the border culinary adventure now do you?Wow, was I surprised.For context, I love Mexican food. I’ve traveled Baja from one end to the other. I lived in San Diego and Arizona for years and practically lived eating in little authentic taquerias. I also love to cook. Especially frijoles de la olla or “beans from the pot.” (Pronounced fray-hole-ace day lah oyah) This is one the the most basic and historical side dishes in Mexico. Moms in Mexico always have a clay pot of these pinto beans cooking on the stove and they are served with just about everything. If you go to a Mexican restaurant that claims to be “authentic,” just ask them if their beans are frijoles de la olla. If they don’t know what you are talking about, their beans probably came from a can. Period.My plate came with a chimichanga (nicely garnished), rice, beans, pickled red onions, and salsa. Well, it sure looked authentic. Then I tried the beans, first thing. AMAZING! Perfectly prepared and great seasoning. Melt in your mouth good. This was the real deal all right. The chimichanga was perfectly cooked with the chicken filling tender and well seasoned. The Mexican rice was excellent, the guacamole was on point and the pickled red onions had just the right crunch with the ideal kick of lime that perfectly complimented the rest of the meal.In short, one of the best Mexican plates of food I’ve ever had.I was amazed. I was so amazed, I actually went back to the kitchen to compliment the chef. I met a lovely young Latino woman coming out of the kitchen door and I asked her if she had made the frijoles de la olla. She said that she had and it came from a recipe of her mothers that had been in the family for generations. And it tastes like it!Run, do not walk, to Hardware Brewing in tiny Kendrick Idaho and pray that they have this permanently on their menu!

Love how this historic building is being preserved in such a beautiful way. Exceptional dining isn't just about the food, which was amazing, but also the ambiance and service. This place has it all in spades. Our server was a delightful person, sharing recommendations for her favorite meals and bringing us tasters of the drinks to help us decide. The food is beyond good, too. You can't go wrong with anything you order. We will definitely be back!

My husband & I went for the Prime Rib Special on Easter Day. It was amazing! The Chef/Owner Layne came out to our table to ensure we got the very best cut & My Oh My, the flavor, texture, & temperature was perfection! We were treated like royalty by everyone. Our server Grace was awesome & very good @ her job!We had an exquisite dinner with a very friendly, warm environment. We'll be frequent flyers!!Thank you to a wonderful TEAM!!❤️

The food the service staff and atmosphere are all excellent, my only concern is with portion size. We were there for the mother’s day special menu and had both the prime rib and ham dinners. The prime rib special was quoted as a 14 ounce cut with potatoes, carrots and broccoli. The meal was delicious, however the cut was definitely not close to 14 ounces. I believe it was much closer to an 8 ounce serving, perhaps even as lean as 6 ounces. This was certainly not my first prime rib, and if you’re going to promote it as 14 oz you need to do a better job with an honest delivery. You need a scale in the kitchen to see what a 14 oz cut looks like. Additionally, the serving of ham was barely sufficient to make a sandwich. We are sincerely wishing you a successful entry into the restaurant business and I hate to provide a less than satisfactory review, however you seriously need to improve your portion size offerings.

They just opened up on Feb.14th with new owners...Best place hands down! From the moment we walked in and until the moment we left, Amazing Place! Food was all homemade and very delicious! We received great service from the waitresses. Probably the best in a long time honestly. Very clean as well.

We were visiting my brother and came to lunch here, excellent service and good food. We had to purchase some pint glasses as well. We didn't just have one waitress which was awesome numerous came over and checked on us made sure we always had a beer. The flights are decently priced. Cool atmosphere and welcoming. Looking forward to going again the end of this month.

Good food and great beer.They are working on getting their brewing operations back online, but they have an excellent selection of beers in bottled and on tap. I have to say the patty melt was outstanding, the sautéed onions were delicious. Definitely worth the trip to for an excellent meal.

Everything was enjoyable, but I felt it was a little pricey for what we ended up with. Also my wife noticed we were somehow overcharged on our beers. Atmosphere was awesome, and the beer was great. The mushrooms are fantastic, not just battered and fried, they were unique and delicious. The Kendrick sandwich I got had very little meat on it, and we ended up ordering the sliders which were delicious.

We were lucky enough to celebrate our wedding reception here and had an amazing experience! Working with Christine was wonderful - she was easy to work with, communicated quickly and went above and beyond for us! She even decorated the tables for us! The staff were friendly to our guests, food was awesome, and beer was great! Definitely recommend for your celebration.

Wanting to catch a game? Just looking for a good bite to eat? Trying to find a place to hold your event? This is the spot! With excellent service, delicious food, and reasonable prices you can’t go wrong. We had my birthday here. They opened and reserved the place just for us on a Wednesday. We had access to pool and shuffle board. They even presented me with a gift and gave us a tour of the brewery. Everyone had a wonderful time! Even if beer is not your thing they also serve great local wine, cider, and soft drinks. I had ordered some appetizers ahead of time, they were freshly cooked and ready upon my arrival. Oh and I can’t forget to mention that the beer is excellent, the Stout is one of my favorites. Make sure you check this place out when you get a chance!

We went to the brewery for my daughter’s birthday. It was our first time going there so we had no expectations. Immediately upon entering the brewery we felt welcome. The atmosphere was chill. The service was great! The food was wonderful! Everyone enjoyed playing shuffle board! We LOVED it and now we plan to go there for my husband’s birthday too. 😊

The owners are amazing people and so very accommodating. We had a large group of 18 people and came in after the kitchen closed. I had called before hand to let them know a large group was coming and they kept the kitchen open for us. We had a great time with great food and beer. Such a great place and we had an amazing time! This is the third time I have been here. First visit was really good. Good service, good sliders, good craft beer. The place had just opened and we were there for lunch.Second time I had a craft beer and "Kayak Kabobs" Beer was good; service was just okay, kabobs were dreadful...cold, large chunks of tough meat. Inedible.Third time, I noticed the kabobs had been taken off the menu. Date ordered bite size and a salad. Slow service, did not get the salad and had to ask for it. I asked for a second beer and never received it. The waitress (and it was the same one all three times...MELODY) acted like it was a huge inconvenience to bring us what was ordered. She spent all her time at the bar flirting with the owner, Doug. It wasn't like the place was busy; three tables. AND it was a Saturday evening.Took forever to get the bill. I double checked the ticket to make sure we weren't charged for items that were ordered and never received. We weren't, but I did not enjoy leaving a "tip" for awful service. My date insisted upon it.Don't get me wrong. The beer is good and some of the food is palatable. The service was just TERRIBLE. Once I receive terrible service, I NEVER go back. There are only two places in Kendrick to eat but I will not be returning to Hardware Brewing Company EVER because of the service.

LOVE IT! Quirky and unique environment and location (refurbished old buildings are so cool!) in a quiet little town a quick drive from Lewiston and/or Moscow, Idaho. The service was great, the beer selection was perfect (and tasty!) and for wine drinkers, they've partnered with local wineries to offer a great selection. The food was better than most brew pubs, served uniquely and interesting. Highly recommend!

I had a really hard time deciding what to choose from the menu, because everything sounded so good. Brisket sandwhich and steak bites were great, but the sliders and fries were amazing. Good selection of beers. Comfortable and beautiful interior. Server went way above and beyond with service - especially with my 2 year old nephew.

We have been here several times and the business keeps getting better and better. The owners are almost always in house. If they're not mingling and making new acquaintances then they're cooking or serving. The bite size and fries are excellent and the oatmeal stout is one of our favorite local brews. Definitely worth the short drive from Lewiston and a fun dining atmosphere.

My husband and I love coming here. The food and beer is great and we love what they have done with the building. When it gets busy things can get crazy but they always get to you. Their Ruben is amazing and they have a decent wine selection too!
