Yoke’s has helped our family keep costs down while staying at the water park. We order two large, fresh take-n-bake pizzas from their deli (where the staff is friendly and efficient), and enjoy them as easy lunches and dinners for a few days. It’s a treat to grab a dessert and some beverages while we are there, and the prices seem quite good (compared to grocery stores in Spo Val where we are from).

The good: good meat selection, produce is also decent and fresh. Sales are usually things I can use. Better quality than Walmart or Grocery Outlet. Staff is nice.The bad: as others have noted, the deli is understaffed and rarely answers the phone. Lunchtime on a Monday in winter a sandwich can take 30 mins because only one person is making them. Would love to see two or three more people behind the counter during rush hours because honestly the food here is better than any of the local restaurants.

For the most part a very friendly staff. I will say the deli department needs some work. It's especially difficult to try to call in orders. I've been on hold for 20 minutes before... they never answered. I would call the store again to see if I was transferred to a desk phone or something and I usually get a rude response from whoever answers the phone. I know things get busy, but it's because people like your food. Get a proper phone or order system. I have seen the deli intentionally leave the phone off the hook to block it from ringing. At least tell me that you are too busy to take an order and I'll figure something else out.

We love this store. Very reasonably priced. A wonderful selection of produce and meats. The deli has a great sandwich menu and other food items.

Decent selection and good prices, but the staff can be a bit iffy. Most are pretty nice, but 2 in particular have be blatantly rude and petty with my family over the last month. Seriously considering skipping entirely and sticking to the Grocery Outlet in Smelterville.

Called in an order for fried chicken dinner, which is hit and miss at Yokes, and requested a freshly cooked 8 piece dinner. I asked three times if it was a fresh batch when I picked it up and was told each time that it was fresh. I got home 14 minutes later and found our definition of fresh is grossly out of sync. It was so dry and tough I'd be willing to wager that it had been cooked Yesterday!!! Never again, as this was the second time I've been swindled by the deli!!!

Delishious Deli sandwiches and the ladies making them were so nice! They had to make 42 sandwiches for an order they just recieved and still helped us and worked us in fir our sandwiches for our Hiawatha trail ride! Thank you. I understand it's the Holiday season, and if you're shorthanded and you get busy in the deli BUT when you tell a customer it takes 8 minutes for a batch of chicken tenders to be cooked... DON'T FORGET to put them in to cook!!It took 25 minutes to get chicken tenders!!!!!No apology just exasperated look and sigh when needed to slice meat for another customer who came in 15 minutes after I ordered chicken tenders!!!!

Yokes has the best produce, great selection of meat, their deli makes the absolute best sandwiches and they are way cheaper than subway, my kids love the pizza pockets from the deli as well! All the employees are very helpful and so friendly

I love this store. Not only do they have the freshest produce in the area, but their deli is incredible!! Freshly-made sandwiches and pizzas...delicious!In the warmer months, they offer a large array of outdoor plants at great prices, as well as a pharmacy (year-round).

Love having this store in the silver valley! Great produce, great meat, but the deli is a our favorite part. The pizza is amazing and it's the only place we get it from!! The chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection. I have no doubt everything on that menu is top notch, and the service is excellent!

Small town store, big time service. Checkers are the best in the biz and the Deli is fantastic. This is definitely a jewel in the Silver Valley and a great supermarket, and more. Locally roasted coffee selection as well as a meticulously kept produce section. They also support local area schools and organizations. Highly recommend!

Their deli sandwiches are the best anywhere, always has been tho. Only reason not 5 stars is because they take an unreasonable amount of time to make them busy or not. I can say this because I used to work there so I know how long it takes to make a sandwich there and it isn't no 20 minutes. More then once they have forgotten my order all together forcing me to have to wait twice as long. I'm always more then polite about it tho. Because they do make the best at a great price!

Walmart is 3 miles away which isn't bad but Yokes has some of the best meat selection and the best beer selection around. Yokes is my goto for either of those and of course all those last minute things you need real quick.

The deli was so fresh and friendly! The people checking you out are a whole different story. The guy didn’t say one word to me or the three other people I saw him check out. I’m not saying we have to be best friends but you could at least tell me when to run my card. You probably need a change of career bud.

Prices are higher than Walmart for most, not all, goods. Limited selections as well. Parking lot is a pain. Having said that, employees are always friendly and the deli serves up a rather large tasty pizza for 10 bucks.

Our Yokes is so great.We have such a good deli , it,s the place for entree,s and san.s, and the dept. managers are all good. The employees have all been there a long time so I don,t buy that stuff about P&S being a bad employer.

Great store and when Fresh Friday rolls around, can't beat the deals!! Friendly employees in every department. But, this Yokes has the absolute best Deli around!! My husband can't get enough of their fried chicken!

Went to Delli no one in line 2 girls in back one is cutting a pizza for called in order the other is making chicken the I one cutting the pizza comes over and fills up the jo Jo's and walks back to the pizza and yells be there soon don't want this pizza to fall on the floor waited another 7 min and left won't go back ever if I could give 0 stars that's what I would have given them

Well stocked and a bit over priced. The 3 star rating is due to the young man working in their deli. We felt like we burdened him by asking for chicken. He was more concerned about who got a brake before him. His attitude was horrible. Rolling his eyes at other staff members and making rude comments rather than doing his job. We bought chicken Friday night and Easter SundayBoth days he was horrible! I have been a business owner and he would have been fired in a heart beat for chasing away customers.

I love this store. Killer san.s in deli. A really great butcher. Good specials on some Fridays. They cut the pizza into tiny pieces tho. 14 pieces! I am not paying 3 bucks for a 2 in .piece .I was back today. My Reuben was great. Love the cheesey sauce. Just needs a pickle slice.I ordered more meat to make 2 at home. It cost $1 than the san.. Only 1/4 lb.which is exactly what they use to make the san.s. it,s $28 a lb.?? Something wrong with this picture.

I really like this little grocery store they usually have everything you need and the employees are always friendly. And you can not beat the deli there sandwiches are great and cheap it's hard to beat.

I was on a road trip from Seattle to St. Paul, Minnesota when I stopped in Kellogg, Idaho. I don’t eat much on these trips, only a half sandwich in the evening when I stop for the day. I was excited to see Yoke’s had a deli and could make a fresh sandwich for me. Brenda went out of her way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Great grocery store! You only have a couple of choices while staying in Kellog: Yokes (local folks) or WalMart (a monger who drives out local folk) 100% of my business will go to the local folk who keep the community strong. They have everything you need. The employees give off the small town friendly vibe that you can no longer find in over sized cities.

My go to spot for deli items (4.99 sandwiches!!), and groceries. Fair prices and great selection. Also the Kombucha station in the back with rotating local flavors is a fun treat and great price.
