Typical Family Dollar. Kind of messy, miserable employees, similar layout.. just the same as the rest. 3 stars because I wasn't expecting anything different.

Family dollar i have never had a bad experience with a cashier or employee at this location . I'm always greeted as I walk in and offered assistance before even realizing I in fact need it . That being said It was not always this way I remember when this store first opened and I was tooken back a few feet when one of the casheirs was very cold and spoke sternly with a frustrated look on her face as if I was interrupting her valuable time .It really got to me ,I thought wow she must truly not want to be here or hates the position . A few days passed by and same cashier same presence and demeanor so I thought ok another bad or off day for this lady and she was just all around rude . So I decided wow if I see her again next timeI was gonna keep a smile no matter what so returned a few days later and she was there same look same tone just rude bun all mangled off to the side so I smiled she looked at me as if I had no right to smile at her register and then I reminded her how waunderful to see her again and asked her if she lived there or if she just runs it on her own ,And told her wow I can imagine ur just exhaustedShe took a deep breath and for a split second there was a uplifted sense that someone understood her stance and demeanor and acknowledged her long shift and actually was interested in her dayAnd she smiled .When I saw the change in her eyes as if a tight rope was loosened and everything else followed .She even told me to have a nice dayThat nice day meant more to me, than all the nice days that day. Said from auto pilot, say it cuzz youv said it 1000 times over and over .It was genuine. So I've decided to always be genuine speak with a actual interest and respect and to smile even when inside im thinking now what isle is that lotion I saw the other day on .and from that point forward Family Dollar has been my favorite place to go when out and about and I'm always reminded about the little grumpy lady who actually made my day with a genuine smile and have a nice day .

I liked it better before the remodeling. When I go in not a hello, not nothing, the place is a mess!! This place needs extra workers cleaning up the isles and stocking shelves. Not much of a selection on kitchen curtains

Usually go here when I don't want to run to Walmart but lately anymore I get my stuff and wait three times longer then it took me to get my items for someone to come to the register. I don't blame the cashier's I think they just aren't very staffed so they have lots to do in the mix everything.

I've always liked shopping at Family Dollar because the prices are great for some awesome things. But this time I noticed the soda was at a higher than at Walmart. That is the only thing I saw today. I'll still shop at the local Family Dollar, I'll just have to watch the prices carefully from now on.
