This is a beautiful hotel, very clean, and a great breakfast. However, my husband and I booked it for our wedding anniversary. I am 7 months pregnant and we have our toddler with us. I specifically booked a king room online so that my husband, my pregnant self, & my toddler could sleep in the bed comfortably. When we got to the hotel they said they had to upgrade us to a room with 2 queen beds because their kings were booked out. This is not an upgrade for us whatsoever though, it’s super inconvenient, and we all slept uncomfortable in a queen bed.When I asked if we could have a discount on our room because of the major inconvenience they said because I wasn’t a rewards Marriott member that my priority for a king room came last. They gave out all their king rooms to those “more important” essentially. This reservation was booked a month in advance and I checked in early the day beforehand. All emails stating I would have a king bed. I was a paying hotel guest and should’ve been notified that my room could have been given away (and was). Very disappointing with the way it was “handled”, I didn’t feel taken care of at all, and it was a real downfall to our anniversary weekend.

Rooms were comfortable and clean and very well maintained. The on-site breakfast was outstanding - loads of fresh fruit and great variety of different cold and hot food every day. LOVED the location outside of Yellowstone and sitting on the river. It was wonderful to be out of the crowds of Yellowstone and it was quiet and pretty scenery. Sitting on the patio by the river for breakfast and at night after hiking all day was a treat. The short drive to the park was beautiful and gives you easy access to the town of West Yellowstone. Had a wonderful experience here at SpringHill Suites!! Nearby Earthquake Lake was a hidden gem - don't miss it.

Exceptional all around. We got to stay here for 2 nights to see our friend's wedding. Very quiet atmosphere and seculated. We stayed during the week day, so there was barely anyone around. We ended up having the entire pool and hot spring to ourselves at night. Absolutely fabulous experience, especially since it was our first time as a family sitting in a hot spring.We loved that the hotel offered a complimentary breakfast every morning as well!!The room is spectacular, clean, luxurious and the workers are very kind to us and more than accommodating. They went above and beyond to get me what I needed when I had a question.This is a great option for those solo traveling our small families that want to be away from the city and need a nice place to relax and unwind. Thank you Elizabeth and staff for such a wondering stay.

We stayed here 10/27-10/28 for the closeness to West Yellowstone. It’s a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. I love the view from our hotel room. The indoor pool was chilly, but that didn’t stop my son from enjoying himself. I personally loved the outdoor hot tub. It snowed while I was enjoying it. The view was incredible. The breakfast was pretty good too, minus the eggs. The pizza next door was delicious and my son loved their ice cream. My only complaint is I asked multiple times for them to restock the pool towels and they never brought them out so we had to drip dry before heading back to our room. The girl working the front desk seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She acted like she didn’t want to talk to me when I asked questions about the status of the roads to enter Yellowstone.

We were driving to Big Sky and the road closed right in front of us in Island Park. Luckily we had just passed the Springhill Suites and turned around. They had a room for us at a pretty good rate and it was lovely. The breakfast in the morning was more than we hoped for, and we got back on the road. Thanks for a restful one night stay!

We loved everything about our family suit, but somewhere along the way the cleaning staff had failed to check and wash the trundle sheets/mattress before we came! Huge urine stain that never was taken care left by someone before us. Quite disgusting! Called to have them replace it and 5 hours later called again and was told they were pretty busy and would try to get to it. Sorry but once you see a giant yellow stain on a bed you would like that taken care of immediately. Gross!

This hotel should have negative stars as should its parent company, Marriott. Our family dog was ATTACKED by the hotel manager’s dog while staying at this hotel. The attack was not prompted by our dog as we were just walking through the hallway to go outside. Our dog was leashed, theirs was not. This attack led to a $1,000+ emergency vet bill and multiple follow up vet visits. The hotel manager was extremely disrespectful, rude, and dismissive of their responsibility in the attack. Marriott and the hotel manager have both stated that they are not responsible for any damages as a “hotel employee” was not involved. Think twice before staying here. If your child or dog was attacked by an employees animal would you not expect there to be accountability? Don’t expect any here. In fact, expect them to FRAUDULENTLY charge an extra $500 to your credit card after the incident.Safety: Unsafe.

We have stayed here many times. EVERY SINGLE TIME our kids use the pool, they get sick. Last time we were there we even heard another family stating the same thing. Then we get in the hot tub and there's a dead fish in it. It's too bad, because it's a great location. Me and maybe others wish they could clean it better. Our kids are currently sick again because of it. Not sure if we will come back again until it's addressed.Safety: Not safe to swim

This was an absolute gem of a stay. The location is incredible, situated directly on the river with views of the river from the outdoor patio and fire pit, as well as from the outdoor hot tub.The suites and common areas were well kept and clean, and I was impressed to see three EV chargers in the parking lot provided to guests free of charge.Besides the very nicely furnished suite with a comfortable bed, cozy couch, and very nice bathroom with glass shower, I'd say the hot tub, scenic views, and breakfast were the highlights here. Added bonuses were the coffee always ready in the lobby and generously sized mini fridge for those packing groceries. Of course, you're probably looking to visit Yellowstone while you're here. It's a very scenic drive of about 20-25 minutes to the West Entrance, with scenic views the entire way.There's a great grocery store for essentials just minutes north of here with very reasonable prices. If you can wait to fuel up till you cross into Montana in the area of West Yellowstone you'll save 20-50 cents a gallon.We would definitely stay here again for another visit to Yellowstone.

Stayed here for a week and everything was pretty top notch. Staff was great, room was great, the whole experience was great. The main parking lot is a little small but there is overflow parking right up a short set of stairs, maybe an extra 50 yards. Yes, it's right on the main road but everything is on the main road in Island Park. Very convenient to the west entrance to Yellowstone ( about a 30 min drive) If your visiting the area and need a place to stay, this is the place. Young blond girl behind the bar was very informative and suggested a few places other than Yellowstone to visit, Mesa Falls and Soda Springs. Mesa Falls is definitely worth checking out. I would stay here in a heartbeat.

Beware the superficial and misleading POSITIVE reviews. There is a common thread amongst the more critical reviews.Managed by Ensign Hospitality. I found their staff to be disengaged and their management to be less than helpful and petty. Very disappointed.The location is awful. If you are solely looking for a secluded place that is aesthetically pleasing, this may be for you. If you would like to have somewhere to dine in the afternoon or evenings, I would steer clear.

Great hotel in a lovely location, about 30 minutes to West Yellowstone. Very comfortable and clean rooms, friendly staff and quiet atmosphere. A plus was having real eggs and half-and-half at breakfast. Minuses, which reduces it to four stars - bar was closed during our visit and WiFi was poor. WiFi was unusable during peak periods and often couldn’t connect. Very few restaurants in the area. Overall, good stay and would return again.

The rooms are very clean and made very comfortable. The breakfast is provided and it is amazing! The customer service was absolutely incredible!! I floated the river and it has great scenery. The water is so clear and all the rentals were very nice and stable. It was such a calm and relaxing fun float. The drivers of our van were very nice and informative all about the river it’s self. They were also able to answer any questions I had. It’s a wonderful float to do with family and friends! The E-bikes were tons of fun as well to ride around all the trails and definitely worth renting for $39. I’m definitely planning on coming back to Mack’s inn!

Our stay here was exceptional. Everything was clean, in great condition with extra amenities and aesthetic touches throughout the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick to help. The view from the patio was beautiful and so easy to enjoy in the comfy furniture around the cozy fireplace. Hot tub and pool were both clean and well ventilated. Food ordered at the bar was tasty with a great variety of selections to choose from (light fare). Pizza at Mack’s Inn was a huge hit for all family members. We wanted to try Sabor’s also but Mack’s pizza was so good we had to revisit. Definitely worth the extra minutes drive from the park entrance. Would most certainly stay here again.

We celebrated our anniversary here. They treated us like celebrities! We really appreciate the personal touch they added to our stay. The management team went above and beyond. We really enjoyed the amenities, food, jacuzzi and close restaurants. The view of Henry Fork River out our window was amazing.We can’t wait to come back again and again and again!Rooms: Very comfortable rooms. Beds are very comfortable. All the amenities make it very easy to stay.Nearby activities: There is a ton to do in Island Park. With short driving distances. We also got some E bikes at Macks which was much more fun than driving.Walkability: Able to walk to all restaurants. There are transport buses to take you to the head of the Henry Ford river to go paddle boardingFood & drinks: Morning- complimentary breakfastLunch and Dinner - Have to go across the street to Cafe Sabor or the pizza place.Appreciate the cookies!

Thank you Springhill for having 3 bed rooms!!! Our family of 5 loved all of the space to spread out and the sleeping space of your 3 bed, 2 bath rooms. What a treat! The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast good and breakfast staff welcoming and it was quiet for a good night's sleep. I would 100% recommend and stay at this hotel again!

This resort is a beautiful vacation spot in Idaho! Lakeside, with several lovely amenities footsteps away, you will thoroughly enjoy your stay here! The view is beautiful, lovely riverfront seating to enjoy a summer evening, and a river dock to easily access the river for fishing, paddleboarding or kayaking (rentals available!) We were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the live music that was happening across the river at the restaurant- what a fabulous ambience! This was just a rest stop for one night for us, but we are already planning a family holiday here again so that we can spend more time enjoying this great family spot!Rooms: Spacious, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom room, with kitchen and living room. We loved the river front view from our room. Very clean and comfortable. Nice bedding and cozy beds.Nearby activities: Loved the nearby restaurant Cafe Sabor and the ice cream shop! Loved the access to paddle boards, kayaks and more!Food & drinks: Breakfast was very good and I really love the all day coffee station!

We stayed in late April 2023 for a hub for our Yellowstone National park trip. Great hotel well maintained and very updated. Staff is great and quick to respond if we needed anything. Complimentary breakfast every morning was a awesome start to our day. First 2 days the eggs were a little salty but the last 3 days eggs were great. Very comfortable cozy feeling at this hotel. Great location for west Yellowstone entrance.Rooms: Spacious clean and nice river viewNearby activities: Yellowstone National parkSafety: Very lighter for returning to hotel late evenings. We were so happy with our choice of staying here. This hotel was divine! One of the best views and the best staff that are so kind and attentive. I had some personal problems during the trip and the staff helped me out with solutions. I was super grateful.The location, the amenities, the view, the breakfast, it was all great! We just stayed here during our Yellowstone/Tetons exploration trip last week. It’s kind of between the 2. It isn’t far from West Yellowstone so there were plenty of stores for incidentals and snacks. We were impressed with the professionalism, hard work, and teamwork of the young staff. They helped one another out (regardless of the area they worked). Everyone was so friendly and accommodating! The rooms were spacious and clean - and the river views were so lovely to wake up to! Breakfast was always fresh. Like others have said, the only thing that could make it better is more food choices, although everything we ate was fresh and delicious! And there were still some open restaurants we were able to enjoy as well.
