This shop is really great in my opinion. This shop has great selections, knowledgeable staff, and very reasonable prices. I don't know how they keep most of the everyday items prices down. They have great sales. I'll keep going back.

The staff is amazing very quick in and out, and are always very friendly. I would recommend buying through them anytime. They gave me honest answers and were very knowledgeable about the equipment they carry. I have been to several places and the fact I'm a veteran I'm very impressed on how they conduct business very professional.

Waited for over 45 minutes for someone to help us. There were at least four guys working helping others when we got there that part I am fine with. What was not great was a guy watched us walk in stand at the counter while he helped someone else, when he was done helping that gentleman asked if we had been helped,which was annoying because you saw us standing there and no-one helping us. Then said he would be right back to help us. We waited for 20 more minutes for someone to come help us. You could hear them in the back chatting. There were several people waiting to be helped. This is the second time I have been in there and this has happened.

Great place to shop, but if you purchase a suppressor there you may have to review the entire process yourself and make sure everything is being done correctly. I purchased one only to find out over 4 months later that they hadn't completed submitting my forms... Don't just rely on them to get everything done on their end without checking in on it yourself.

As a lot of the reviews already mention, this was by far the most pleasant place to conduct my business. I worked with Bradon, whose patience and expertise exceeded my expectations, which resulted in a confident purchase. The customer service is outstanding. The Team (everyone that I spoke with) was pleasant; great attitudes, conversing as if I was someone important, and grateful that I did business with their establishment as if I was their first customer. The Gun Shop will always be my place for all things 2nd Amendment.

I've been in gun shops all over the country...this one is at the top of the list. From a retail perspective, clean and well organized. From a customer service standpoint...EVERY employee greeted me and was personable and helpful. I just moved to town and walked in on my day off, zero intention on buying anything. Honestly...I was so impressed with the staff...decided to go ahead and grab $650 worth of stuff. Great service, great shop. In Idaho Falls...Ill be shopping here for my needs and wants.

Had the chance to speak with Rudy over the phone about Rifles he provided me with excellent information that helped influence my decision.It doesn't seem to happen that often where you speak with a salesman, and they give advice based off of personal experience instead of just hearing about technical specs he provided me with those as well. I ended up ordering a rifle from your store and had it transferred to my local shop in Indiana. The rifle was on its way the next day. I wish google allowed me to give 10 stars because you all deserve it. you just gained a life long customer.

I have never been treated so nice in any store in my life. Everyone that works at the Gun shop is so helpful & nice. From the girls that greet you when you walk in to the guys at the counter who are very knowledgeable and helpful. Jake spent 45 minutes to an hour explaining the different suppressors to me. I can't thank him enough for helping me figure it out. I went in with my son to get him a hand gun, the young man I can't remember his name, sorry. He took the time with us to find a hand gun thst fit him. I will be a customer for life. Thank you all that work at the Gun Shop.

I recently purchased a handgun here because I was recommended this place by my parents.Each time I’ve been here, the staff has been extremely friendly, willing to give their opinion on certain topics/weapons, etc.However, I was sold the wrong optic for my handgun. I was apprehensive to bring it bad as the sign at the register says “no returns on optics”, regardless I brought it in.The technicians offered to put it on for me, so I obliged and then was told I was sold the wrong one and they would like to exchange for the correct size. They also offered to mount the sight again, to which I agreed to. After about 30 minutes I was told that this optic does not mount to my firearm, and I would need a 3rd party plate - which is an additional 50 dollars. They told me once I bought the plate, to bring the weapon back in and they would mount it for me.I got the plate, brought the weapon back and they proceeded to mount the optic again. To which I was told that the screws were too long, and that this happens.No solutions were offered, other than go to a local place that sells screws, and pretty much was given a “good luck” with no solutions other than I’m stuck with a useless $250 dollar optic that doesn’t mount my handgun correctly, unless I can find screws the correct size, which I have not been able to do.TLDR; People are friendly, but was sold something that doesn’t fit my handgun and I have to find the solutions to fix it.

This place is fantastic! Best prices I could find anywhere. When I visited the store they were very busy. I feel like this store is adequately staffed and everyone is very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a gun, ammo, case, holster, etc. They were great!Also, they are pet friendly. Did a great job of making my Great Dane feel welcome!

This is by far the best gun shop in the surrounding area. The management and staff are top notch, and the owner always insists on keeping prices fair! The selection of products is superb. If you’re looking for anything firearms related, this is definitely the place to go!

As a novice gun buyer (who had done a bit of gun research on the web), I found the salesman, Lyndsey, knowledgeable and friendly. Even though there has been a general shortage of weapons across America, here I was able to examine several of the handguns that I had decided upon prior to my visit. There was no hurry or pressure by the Lyndsey and there were plenty of agents available to work with other customers.The entire encounter - questions, selection, and purchase - was a good experience and I do highly recommend the Gun Shop of Idaho Falls.

Love these guys they helped me with my purchase even to the point of telling me to come back in 5 days cause that's when a sale for the handgun was going on saved me 50 bucks, little intimidating going in to the store looking for a handgun but the sales person think his name was Josh set my mind at ease and helped me with choosing the best gun for what I needed. These guys are awesome!

This is one of my favorite gun shops in the state but today witnessed something that I wasn't impressed with. A customer came in with a S&W EZ Pistol that would jam up every mag no matter what kind of ammo he tried. And the employees basically said the only thing they could do is buy it from the customer and sell it as a used gun for the fraction of the original cost. And so they intend to sell a gun that doesn't work. And they also mention sending it back to S&W but said the turn around time was roughly 10 months, which isn't true at all, its typically 2-4 weeks. Not impressed with their responds, they should have sent it back to S&W right away. Hopefully this was just a fluke thing and not a representation of their business model.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE: I went in as a first time gun buyer looking for a home defense gun. I had a great experience. The gentlemen that helped me was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, and considerate of my price range. He was willing to teach me how to work the gun as well, because I didn't have much experience. They gave me great options to choose from and I came away with a great purchase.

Wow! You can look at my reviews and see that I go to a LOT of gun shops all over the Pacific Northwest. This is definitely my new favorite, if only it wasn't 500 miles from home. The service, the selection, the prices and the atmosphere were all 5 + stars.Right now is a tough time to be in the firearm industry and many places are taking advantage of the "Pandemic" scare and shortages by hiking their prices. This is NOT one of those places. I was actually able to buy a hard to find gunpowder at LESS than what my local store was selling it for pre-pandemic and 30% less than what they are asking now.The Gentleman on the back counter was super friendly and the young guy on the front counter was awesome as well. Thank you for making a couple of out of towners (NOT out of State), feel right at home. Next time I'm down that way, I will definitely bring more money.

Out-of-state resident here. Stopped by one morning and was told by three different employees (after explaining I was a resident of my state) that I’d be able to purchase a certain gun. When I came back to the store later in the day to make the purchase, I was in the middle of filling out the paperwork when a different employee told me I could no longer make the purchase because my state’s laws prohibited it.I understand that there’s not much they can do about the law, but it’s disappointing when different employees tell you different things.TLDR: A pretty nice place, but watch out for employees telling different stories about gun laws.

If I could give a zero I would I hate to be so negative but when I stand there for a hour without anyone helping at the gun checkout and it is infinitely more infuriating when I can hear the employees laughing and socializing instead of helping me and the three others waiting for some other worldly force to a help us I have never so blantly been ignored by staff before I would understand if it was busy but it was not there where four customers including myself.

They went above and beyond in getting us a simple part we broke on one of our pistols that no one could get for us. We will continue to buy from these guys for a long time. Thanks.
