I stopped in the Ammon ID store to check on a firearm in stock. A stencil on the front door says something to the effect” If we dont have the best price then we’ll beat it”.I showed an older man with grey hair and glasses of an ad from an online store ( there were multiple in the same price range that I could produce from different stores) for the item that they have in stock. His reply is that Sportsman’s would only compete with big box stores and wouldn’t even look into it. Kinda pissed me off with the attitude. I’m not the one with the sign on my store stating to all what I’ll do for business. Even if the price would’ve been a little higher than what I showed him I would’ve bought the item. Wouldn’t even check into it.I went to another store in town and it’s not a normally stocked item but the individual said that he’d check on Monday with their supplier and see if they could match or get close to it.Update:Sportsman’s staff contacted me the next day via email and addressed issue stated above. I appreciate the quick response and their commitment to honor what they said.Thank you.

Google says they are open from 9 AM - 9 PM. Showed up at 8:08 PM and they are closed. The employee walking out said they closed early. Would be nice if they updated their hours so we didn’t waste our time. A couple of other customers in the parking lot were just as confused.

They had a lot of ammo, but nothing I was looking for. They also didn't have any reloading tools that I was looking for... And it didn't look like I had any powderI walked in, and was walking around for a few minutes, and it looked as if all the employees were enjoying more of their time, talking with coworkers or friends.Generally speaking, sportsman's greets you within walking in, and you will be graded quite a few times in your visit, but upon being here, it was as if everyone was doing their own thing, and didn't care to talk to anyone else.(I had a handful of questions, but generally was able to figure out that they had nothing in stock)

When emergencies happen, there's no one at the Counter, not one. No button or nothing. As a mother that is ABSOLUTLY TERRIFYING.I will buy absolutely everything in that store somewhere else.

Online hours said closes at 9:00pm, store employee was locking the doors at 7:58pm. We watched 4 different groups of people (in addition to us) walk away in frustration. Not a good way to do business. Idaho Falls, Idaho, Saturday 3-23-24.

I’ve been in 3 times in the last month or so and I’ve had the same experience each time. There seems to be nobody on the floor to help you out with questions. The cash register has 1 employee playing on their phone and the room right behind the registers has 2 or more people having personal conversations. I want to like this store so bad but unless you do all your own research before you go in and know exactly where everything is you’ll be lost in here with a ton of questions. It’s like shopping online but in person. I asked the cashier when was the best time to come in when they would be fully staffed and she said they’re never fully staffed. I told her I never get help and I needed to go to a different store (Cabella’s ) because they’re more helpful and they treated me like a “Karen”. Listen to the customers, we want you to be successful.

What's there not to love about Sportman's Warehouse? I mean come on, it's all things outdoors. There's stuff animals to thrill the kids, good prices and outstanding sales on everything outdoors from shoes to shotguns to shells.It's easy to move around in the store. Their staff is friendly and usually knowledgeable. They have a decent selection.I have purchased a few firearms, bino's, and accessories there. I have also purchased hiking shoes and other outdoor gear and supplies.

Great store with a great fishing selection. Tough to find a employee to help me though. Once I did he looked in the back to see if he had any more of what I was looking for. He didn't but that's okay! Love the local rods and tackle selection, seems like it was curated for local fishing which I love :).

Drove clear from Blackfoot to buy tackle for lake trout. Online they say they close at nine. I’ve been here many times just before closing in the past. But when I showed up at 8:10 they were closed and the store hours on the sign said they closed at 8:00pm. If you are going to change your store hours you better change them everywhere. Not just on the front of your store. I drove to Idaho Falls for nothing and wasted money in fuel. I have had luck finding what I need here but I was not impressed by this to say the least.

Sportsman's is still my go to out of all the big box stores that have in recent years opened in town. The employees are always nice and the selection they have in stock never disappoints. Prices are still high compared to online but hey they have to pay all that overhead somehow. Also nothing beats wanting something and having the option to have in your hand within an hour. Saturdays you'll find the newest litters of puppies for sale lined up along side of their parking lot. This is not put on by they store but they allow it to happen. I go get my puppy fix a few times a year then walk away knowing that my old dogs at home won't pee on my floor lol.

Store is neat, clean, and well stocked except for the only thing we went in to purchase, which was the mix to make summer sausage. First we asked where we could find it, and we were escorted to a general area and was told that it was in this area somewhere, and then the clerk walked away. We were disappointed because my dad uses a walker and can't stand to terribly long. One of the reasons why we asked for help. We'll we couldn't find it, so we did ask another clerk for assistance, and he walked us where it was suppose to be at and it was out of stock. We were disappointed 😞, and on our way out, we saw the female clerk who assisted us when we first arrived standing on the outside of the counter just talking away and having a good time. She seemed to want to socialize instead of help the guest. We were very disappointed.

I came with my wife today and tried to buy some work shoes. We were waiting in the shoe department to see if someone was in the area, we nocked in the storage room no one answered so we asked someone to send a person to help us out. Some called on the microphone and the lady was in the upper level just sitting at a table while 6 people were waiting for someone to show up. When she came downstairs she looked like she was disturbed and not wanting to sell anything. We asked her to show us a pair of shoes in 7 1/2 and she responded that she didn’t have any shoes available with that number and that all shoes started at 8. She was very rude and not helpful. Very dissatisfied

Waited at the dressing room for over ten minutes for an employee to come and open the door. I was then hassled by the employee to only bring 4 items even when the store was clearly not busy. Absolutely ridiculous policy that only encourages me not to buy at this store.

I don’t think I’ve had worst customer service in a long time. And I just kept smiling. But apparently everything that could go wrong with my order did go wrong, yet I was expected to be the one to fix it. Instead I left everything on the counter and spent $300 at a different store. The price wasn’t the problem. In fact the pricing was great. The entire visit was a cluster and when a person gets that frustrated trying to deal with someone who doesn’t listen but assumes what you’re planning on saying, then it’s just not worth buying anything and wasting more time. I did give two stars because of the pricing and selection. Maybe I’ll find another one on my travels and it won’t be such a difficult process
