It's a conveniently located pet store if you know what you want and don't require customer service. It takes a while for help in the fish department. Same goes for checking out of the store. My patience is tested with each visit but I keep going back because they usually have what I need. The store is generally clean and put together however the front where you check out is quite cluttered and serves as a holding tank. Nice selection of beta fish. I have found beautiful ones there.

The vet staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend for anyone to switch to petco for all pet needs. And the prices are very affordable especially with today's costs of living.

The have very good DOOR DASH service, even in the snow. In-store service could improve, it seems they need more staff for floor service, meaning to attend to customers out on t h e sales area. But the people who do work there are helpful, PetCo needs more people . No photos taken at this time. I love that I was able to order via Door Dash. It saved lives!

I've primarily used the other national chain pet store because wherever I've lived, it's been closest, but I saw a deal for Petco grooming and thought we'd try it after the other place kept missing some of the services we'd paid extra for. I was blown away at how friendly everyone was and how great the grooming was. They even have better prices and some good promotions and deals on top of that. Also, my dog smelled amazing (or even better, didn't smell at all) for like 3 times as long as after being groomed at the other place.

The customer service is phenomenal! When we called to ask to exchange some puppy food, they gladly did it and then grabbed the kind we wanted and put it behind the counter to save it for us without us asking! He was so helpful and made it such a pleasant experience!

I bought a product for our dog to eat and he loved it! So, this morning I went back to the store and couldn't find it. After several frantic searches where other same brand items were, still nothing. One of the store employees asked if I needed any help. After telling him my dilemma, he went into action. After thoroughly checking several areas, he found one bag! But, he didn't stop there. He checked his e-device and said it showed he should have 3. I was holding the one he found, so there should be 2 more. After checking more and coming up empty, he said he could place the order and have it delivered to my house. Also, since the item was on sale: buy one, get a 2nd at half price, he said that would apply. This employee was Travis and he was amazingly helpful and friendly! A+++!

I am here from Salt Lake staying with my grandma. I’ve had to go here a few times to get treats and food for my dog, because my stay just keeps extending.He’s a bit chatty and they’re always really good at letting him meet and smell them. He loves to pick out and carry his chew around the store and I’ve not had any issues with people being upset about that.Would definitely recommend for a quality experience for your pets

I almost always have an informative n pleasant experience. I prefer coming 2 Petco vs competitors. The employees r always eager n willing 2 help n explain. The aisles r a little close but inventory makes it worth the squeeze. N I wish prices were a little bit less than ur competitor, but u can't have everything, can u?

Went downhill after the moveEver since they moved locations Petco has fallen off hard especially in the fish department. They now have a fish section that's about half the size but worse taken care of. The tanks were filthy, it apparently takes them 3 days to stock half the amount of fish, and even with the few fish they had there were still plenty of dead fish in the tanks.It used to be in Idaho Falls that Petco was generally the better place to shop over their competitor PetSmart but I don't know if that recommendation holds weight anymore.If anyone wants to open an exotic pet store for fish and reptiles in Idaho Falls now is your opportunity.

I had a great experience with Petco’s grooming team. My pup went in looking pretty rough, then boom! 3 hours later I picked up a pretty princess.

Was very disappointed with the customer service provided had to track down an employee to get any help they called for him three times over the intercom and still waited 30 minutes just to be told couldn't buy a goldfish when their tanks look like this the only reason there is a one star on my review is because it won't let me leave zero they should be prosecuted for the living conditions of the tanks

The salon was clean, and the staff was very welcoming me in guiding me through our Doodle Heeler mix Jinkx’s first haircut. Paula was so amazing and patient with my 6 month old puppies first haircut and I am over the moon with how she looks!When she opened the door and I saw my previously fuzz ball little doodle/heller mix with a short beautiful haircut, not gonna lie, I teared up. Paula explained where she was and was not comfortable with, and what I loved was she explained how she got around those uncomforts (blow drying- she said she would walk back and blow dry and then walk closer and then repeat as needed). She gave me advice on how to help her to tolerate blow drying more in the future, and said my dog loved getting her teeth brushed.I will definitely be back and can’t wait to see Paula again.

So thankful for this grooming department, they saved me getting my dog in last minute and right away when Petsmart failed me! I tried booking with Petsmart, left notes about my dog, and get a call that he’s being reactive and they can’t groom him; however, Petco has been grooming him tons of times and always reports he’s a good boy! So, that tells me that Petco actually takes the time with my dog and handles him respectfully and Petsmart does not. I only did Petsmart because I wanted a Grinch bandana but now I’ll never take him to their grooming and always rely on Petco. 100% recommend.

We bought nearly all of the stuff for a tree frog habitat including the frogs here for our son’s birthday and only 2 of the associates were super helpful but the 3 or 4 we encountered were not. Since we bought the frogs, they continually do not have crickets in stock to be able to feed our frogs.

More expensive than Pet smart which is just down the road. Very few employees to work this store so the service is slow. I didn't even know they have cats for adoption as they are housed in the dog area near the back.

We've been very happy with Petco. We just bought our daughters a freshwater fish tank, and a salt water fish tank, and we were pretty clueless as to how to get the salt water tank started and what we needed for it.Thankfully the very knowledgeable employee Jason was more than happy to get us started, answer all of our questions, and find us everything we needed. He took the time to explain everything in detail to make sure that each of our new tanks would be successful and that the fish would thrive in them.We've been back three times now and every time Jason has been working and willing to help us further. He is not only great with adults, but also very patient and friendly with our two teen children.We are also happy with the rest of the store, it is clean, the animals are happy and well taken care of, the employees we have spoken to as we were being checked out were also friendly and helpful.We will keep going back to this store time and time again. We are very happy there, they have everything we need, and they make it enjoyable to shop there.

My wife bought a couple of bearded dragons. Had them for about three days and our female just died. 0/10 will not ever shop here for pets again. No food, no water, quite possibly a sick female and knowingly sold it.

The groomers are great. We rescued a little terrier that had been neglected, so he is still very nervous. He got a hair cut Saturday but was to nervous to finish his nails. They had us bring him back Monday to finish. He's getting better, we are very appreciative for the patience of the groomers working with him.

The fish staff, James and Chance, are SUPER knowledgeable in both freshwater and saltwater. I’ve trusted them with the first time setup of my saltwater tank and both have done superb! 10/10 would recommend the fish department here

Really loved my trip to Petco today. Brandon was super helpful helping me, a first time puppy owner, choose a food and everything else I needed! Loved the fact he was upfront with me on prices and brands, and offered me a ton of discounts by being a free member. Awesome service, I'll definitely come back!

They have a really pretty new store. Everything is clean and looks great. Everyone seems to be really friendly, but I don’t think they have enough employees. If you want to buy any fish you have to wait what seems like forever. No one is ever there and no one comes and checks, you have to go find someone. It’s also kind of a crowded area there so it’s not a great place to stand around waiting. I’m not sure if it’s a lack or staff or a lack of attentiveness, but that’s the only issue we’ve had.
