I’ve never actually written a review before but i really felt the need to just say how incredible the owner is! She seems to do it all and by herself every time I’ve seen her which has been a lot over the years. I’ve come to admire her work ethic because not only does she do it alone she does amazing and she’s the quickest groomer I’ve EVER had. And hands down the best. She does an amazing job every time and the price is incredible ❤️ i appreciate Katrina and her business soo much!!!

I’ve been bringing my dogs to Katrina for a while now. I had two “problem children” at one point—one that was a big old lab that got so anxious and would whap over everything with his tail-the other a small terrier (GIR) who (when we rescued him) wouldn’t let anyone touch him (in fact before we heard about Katrina, we had to come pick him the up from another place un-groomed because of it). Not only is Katrina a fantastic groomer, she is a dog whisperer. She calmed my lab every time (RIP Jackson), & had my shy terrier GIR taken care of quickly with love and care. Now we’ve added a Morkiepoo (Sophie) to our family that is also a super shy shelter dog—and she went to Katrina immediately (she hasn’t even done that with extended family members yet). They just got home from puppy spa yesterday, and they look amazing! Katrina is the BEST. This is GIR & Sophie.

I have been going to Katrina's for years she is amazing! Our pup is always happy to go to get his fresh cut and she groomes exactly how I ask sometimes a cute lil surprise because she knows my pup so good! I took my friend's doggie to Katrina for her and Katrina was very friendly and the shop was clean and little Mick looked like a rock star when she was done. I've already referred someone to her and will bring my own dogs there when it's time. My friend has brought her pets to Katrina for many years and has never been disappointed.

Normally I don’t write reviews, but I have made an appointment twice now and this is the second time I have shown up and nobody is there. The door is locked, I tried to call several times with no answer. The last time I called and left a message she never called me back. I work in the service industry and this is very unprofessional behavior.

She had a good reputation for a while. But last year, I had to finish my dogs haircut. I noticed she hadn't clicked all of his nails either. He later was in pain from the improper nail trimming. She had split his nail and it ended up breaking all the way up. He got an infection. His nail was extracted, pain meds, antibiotics. $165. the worst part is the pain he was in. Then I heard similar stories. I should have sued.

This was my first time going to Katrina because my regular groomer was booked out till August. My pup's appointment was at 3 pm and I did not realize she closed at 4 pm. I came back at around 3:45 pm and my pup was already done! I am glad that I found a groomer that could take him with the earliest availability, fast service, and at an affordable price.The downfall was that after I had paid and got into my car, I noticed that my pup was bleeding! Two of his nails were cut too short, and he was also cut on his stomach. I did go back in and talk to her and she was able to put something on his nails to help stop the bleeding. There were areas that were choppy and it seemed rushed. I am sure she is a great groomer if you have an earlier appointment. If she needed more time, I wish she could have told me to schedule for a different time. I also wish she had told me about whether my pup had issues during his appointment. You definitely get what you pay for. Cheap pay for cheap service.

Was very pleased with Katrina's service. I stopped in with my small dog to have her nails trimmed and she took her back right away. My dog freaks out when getting groomed and around strangers and Katrina got the job done quick and easily, where other local groomers are either fearful of my dog or let my dog boss them around and it takes forever. Will definitely be back for services from Pampered Pooch. Her prices are very reasonable as well.

I am amazed how horrible of an experience my pup had at Katrina's. She has a good reputation and was recommended by a friend.At first glance, my dog appeared ok. But I noticed his hair cut was aittle uneven and a little longer in one leg. But he is scared if grooming and this was a new groomer so I figured he was difficult and let it go. Later that day, I noticed his neck hair hadn't been cut at all. His paws weren't well groomed. I was upset but let it go. About a week later, I took him to the vet because he acted as if he was in pain. I was informed his claw needed to be removed because it was broken during a clipping. He was in danger of infection too. That visit to the vet cost me $150 plus the cost of pain meds and antibiotics. But the pain he went through is what really disgusts me. I'm still considering small claims court.

So My dog got her nails done there and she started to cut them and they started to bleed and she just keep on cuting them and I my dog was whimpering in pain. When we got home she was so traumatized. No concern of animals what so ever! So when I told her you're not getting business from us again. She just said fine by me. no sorry and no concern for my dog at all. Never go there again!.

The only reason I am not giving one star rating is because she does a decent job at a puppy cut. A friend of ours referred us to her because of her rates were pretty low. So we thought we would give it a try. The first time we brought our little dog in the puppy cut was decently done but the dewclaw was not cut. We didn't think much of it and cut it ourselves but than the second time we came in things looked good and than we brought our dog home and noticed a decent sized cut on his leg. I am pretty upset that she didn't even tell me that it had happened let alone apologize for it. The cut is big enough that there is no way she could have not known that it was done. When our friend had told us about this place she had mentioned that she noticed her dog had gotten a cut as well and noticed it because her dog kept licking it. We just chalked it up to an accident and decided to give her a shot anyway. Who knows how many others have gotten cuts like this. I think this is very unprofessional and will definitely not be going back.

I was honered to be treated in such a great manner at The Pampered Pooch. I have taken my pets many other places in Idaho Falls and though some were very good groomers the attentiveness and care that Katrina gives is second to none. I highly recommend The Pampered Pooch to anyone who gets their pets groomed. Prices are very good and her work is amazing! 5 Stars!!

Katrina was super rushed when clipping our dogs claws. She was so rushed she ended up clipping two of our dogs claws too short and one was pouring blood and didn’t even realize the second one was bleeding. When my boyfriend called her to ask how we can help she said we can stop by and she give more of the bleeding stuff but then hung up on him. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
