Family Dollar Homedale is nicely stocked and clean. The help is so friendly. Love shopping at the Family Dollar stores. Busy at times where maybe one more helper BUT ones that are there gets everyone taken care of and out the door happy. Thank You.

So, one thing I don't get about family Dollar, is nearly all the items cost more than a dollar.... Maybe I'm just a bit older old man, but sometimes I get offended easily.Regardless with my silly attempt at telling a joke, the store was kept in pretty good condition, and I was impressed by how the employees seem to go out of their way to actually make sure that people weren't waiting in line.Generally speaking, it's a dollar store, and for the way this place has been set up it looks to be in pretty good condition.

Pulled up and there was a lit cigarette on a post that blew off onto the ground my wife and I go out and she went to put it out an employee came out and picked it up to continue his “smoke break” my wife said you shouldn’t leave your cigarette lit when you go back into the store not everyone wants to smell it. He replied then go somewhere else we continued in he came back in and continued to harass us through the store telling us how buying candy was just as bad as cigarettes and “look what it did to us” I asked for the manager he said that would be me I ignored him to avoid confrontation he walked out and he then flicked his lit cigarette and bounced it off our brand new car. I am appalled by this kind of behavior from a store manager

Visited the store today found alot of good clearance sales cloths just one problem make sure you check your cloth or wash them before wearing I found dead bugs (roaches maybe) inside of the cloths. Other then that store looked a little bit packed but presentable and customer service was good.

Ok. I love coming to this store for the few things I need without having to drive all the way to caldwell for bigger stores. That being said today was oneof the worst customer service experiences yet. The guy at the register was not friendly. He had what I thought to be ear phones in but they could be a hearing device. It didn't help that after he threw my stuff in a bag he leaned onto the counter and proceeded to take his phone out and look through it. No training here. Definitely needs improvement. The truck driver who was delivering freight to the store was more pleasant than the guy working the store.

The worst experience I had ever had in the years that I have been coming here. While shopping to keep my 5 year old son calm he's allowed to use he's tablet,while doing that my son was told by one of the workers to turn it down. There were like 2 other shoppers in the store.

If I could I wouldn't leave any stars! Inventory is horrible and they have some horrible employees for the most part. You can be waiting in line for quite a while. The lady checking you out couldn't care any less about doing a good job and moving the line. While the other employee is sitting in her car in one of the front parking spots smoking and on the phone. They have lost a lot of my business. I would avoid this store if at all possible!!!

You have to watch yourself in and around this store make sure you don't loose anything and keep your stuff safe.This store in particular seems to go through a lot of staff and the place is honestly a little sketchy from time to timeBUT!! They really do keep a nice store! They have great deals and a few odds and ends you don't see much in the rest of the town for Fairer prices. The people that work there are just trying to finish their day or night shift. They'll help you and are friendly to an extent.If you need some good supplies, different toys, and something for the current weather your in they have a few things in stock you could useWinter: good snow shovels, kids jackets, some camping gear, clothes fit for coldSummer: pools, pool toys, garden and lawn ornamentsDepends on season for different items sometimes.

I know that due to labor shortage and not being able to find help. Things aren't always good but I think they're doing a great job even with the struggles they have. Please be patient and respectful everything isn't always the employees fault.

This store is a disaster!! I don't know if they are short staffed or WHAT! I have been in 4 times since the very nice remodel, first time waa very nice cleaned up, freight put away! Last three times...you can't get through the aisles, freight is everywhere, empty boxes and only one employee in sight! This is a busy store get them some help!!

Horrible store. I dont frequent Family Dollars as a rule and now I know why. There have been several thefts in and on the premises. Anything from cars being stolen from the parking lot to wallets disappearing into thin air. The store is Dirty and unkempt.The excuse that the store personnel can't help you shows their lack of appreciation to their job.

I haven't visited here for along time! Mistake. Great selection of major brands, that for Homedale with only a grocery store this is a great find. The prices were much cheaper than Albertsons. COVID precautions in use.

There are some good deals if you look for them, some dollar items but not a true dollar store. Bread is above price but if you are in need of some items, it is a good place to stop and shop.
