For the low rates you can't beat it.The rooms are spotless cable TV and free internet comfortable beds and hot showers. Plus the Wayside restaurant is open 24 hours and only 100 yards across the parking lot the food is great and very affordable.Food & drinks: Wayside restaurant is excellent.

This is difficult because the lady at the front desk was very nice, the cleaning lady was also very nice and thorough. HOWEVER... at 3:00 am someone knocked on our door, we went out to check since no one was at the door by the time we looked out the curtain (park in front of your door/ outside entry type), we saw people hopping between rooms, the guy in the room next to us tweeked out and paranoid about someone in his room who wanted to beat him up. Then another rapid knock at 3:45 am, still no one there except for the tweeker roaming the parking lot talking to himself, then at about 6 am, same knock but we ignored it. Finally, with a knock again at 8:30 am there was a young woman who got to see my very angry face in the window and left quickly. There is some drug activity here. It's a shame because of the great service and one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in but we won't return. And, yes, the police are aware of that situation at that motel. 🙄

For the age of the place its par for the course the place is pretty nice though. I like the fact it is out of town in between Rupert and Burley, and is next to a 24 hr diner/truck stop who also has a gas station open from like 5am to 11 pm and has Tesla stations operational 24/7. I think a few of the folks at this place may be permanent residence there but there nice enough to not be bothered. I enjoyed my stay.Nearby activities: There's a small lake just up the road if your driving but just across the hwy if your walking ( 100 yards from topps) and it's smak dab in-between Rupert and Burley.

One of our worst hotel stays ever. The saying you get what you pay for certainly holds true here. The room was clean but had no towels and maybe half of the lightbulbs for the fixtures in the room. Fortunately the front desk gave me a couple towels and a few lightbulbs that I installed myself in the bathroom.The bigger issue was the fight in the parking lot right outside our room that started at 1030pm, progressed to police involvement and a standoff outside our room from 1120pm til 100am, and finally ended when the police and office told the combatants to go in their rooms or be evicted. Our night was ruined, and we couldn’t even leave for a safer location because multiple officers and police cars were barricaded right outside our room. Why the police didn’t just arrest them is a mystery, but at least they were cited, to which the response was over an hour of heated arguing with the officers about why they have to appear in court.It is certainly a challenge as a hotel owner trying to maintain a property and ensure the safety of your guests. In this respect they failed because the office was hesitant to evict the fighting and disruptive guests because they were “good boys who paid for a week,” which is of more value than guests who are trapped in their room for two and a half hours unable to sleep because of the disturbance outside.I reached out to the owner to give him a chance to respond but he declined.We can only hope things improve here, but beware if you take a chance and stay here. Being trapped in your room fearful for your safety with inadequate support from the staff is not an experience we would wish on anyone.Safety: A fight between “guests” and a police standoff outside our room from 1030pm til 100am says it all.

We got there at 10pm. The lady super nice, affordable price. Clean and spacious rooms.I don't know if I was tired or the bed are the best bed I ever slept on a motel.Love it. I will recommend it

An older hotel off of the highway. The room was clean and comfortable with a restaurant and gas station near by. There was not a coffee maker in the room but there was a microwave and fridge so I was able to make my own instant coffee in the room. Obvious pride of ownership as it was a well maintained hotel. One negative is my credit card was charged twice but was taken care of in a timely manner.

The staff clearly cares a lot about the building which is really nice. They were friendly and hard working. The rooms were kind of gross. Non smoking room smelled like cigarettes and other drugs. Pet friendly room.. the carpet was sticky and smelled strongly of pee. A very convenient location. Within walking distance of a cafe and gas station. The toilet did not work upon arrival. Had to fill with water to fix it. There were some creepy people staying in the rooms that seemed like they were on hard core drugs and some normal people. They got me in last minute so I am grateful for that.

The rooms may not be much to look twice at, but don't let that discourage you from staying here! Miss Tammy was super delightful and accommodating to my wife and I who were traveling thru on our way from Texas to Oregon. She didn't mind that we got in late and was happy to help! The price for the room is adequate for what you're getting, don't expect it to be a holiday Inn or some other fancy schmancy hotel, but do expect great service, a quiet nights sleep, a hot shower and a freakin awesome diner a block away that is 24 hours, has friendly staff, beer, desserts and some damn good food for weary travelers looking for a decent hot meal...and it's not outrageously priced either! I would stay here again and again so long as I get to deal with Miss Tammy or someone as kind and friendly as her! Animals weren't a problem to accommodate either as I have a service dog

This motel is an excellent place to stop if you're around Heyburn or Burley or anywhere along i-84 for that matter. It's right off the freeway. The pride of ownership shows in the care they've taken of the place. Tammy, the check-in Godess, was very helpful and friendly. Everything worked like it was supposed to. Tammy recommended the Wayside Cafe, a half block south, and it was also a great stop. We paid $85 for two queen beds in early August 2023, and felt it was a really good deal. I don't believe the location can be beat.Rooms: Basic but large rooms with fridge and microwave.Food & drinks: The Wayside Cafe a half-block South has excellent meals and a nice down-home vibe.

Where do i begin? The heater didn't work, windows don't lock (and slide open VERY easily), there was a joint and urine in the toilet, drug residue on the counter, reaked of mariuana, dirty room, people constantly coming and going, and you hear EVERYTHING because walls/doors are paper thin and not sealed. The manager was nice and offered a different room, but it wasn't any better. Ended up canceling the room and going somewhere else.

I just needed a bigger bathtub for arthritis symptoms and while bathtub was bigger the overflow drain was way low. The toilet looked like it had urine in it apon site but I could tell it was hard water stains, using many different things that could be easily taken care of. I didn't plan to sleep in the room but with two beds it would have been nice, had it looked at all hygienic, unfortunately the manager had to chase her cats out upon arrival and the sheets was stained floors was dirty and there was a complimentary modello in the fridge. My I suggest renting your rooms out by the hour?

The best maid service I've gotten very nice and helpful but the management are tweakers ,not a place for children, the rooms are clean are a little run down not worth the cost though. It's pet friendly that's a plus. Wouldn't advise staying longer than 3 days. Needs new management and few improvements only gave it 5 stars because of the maid service ,The only reason worth staying.

Just what you need when you're traveling. Nothing more, nothing less.Stayed as a solo lady roadtripping in spring 2021, and had an uneventful stay. There's a lot of road noise, which I don't mind, as it's pretty much like background static to me. Space was serviceably clean, beds were nothing to write home about.Cons were that I couldn't keep my bathroom window open, because of the smell of the dumpster. I also couldn't get the TV to connect to anything.Works fine, would stay again if traveling.

Staff is very friendly, they try and make sure you are comfortable. The manager and her son are nice people. Rooms are okay for the price. If you are into extravagant motels this isn't for you but, if you don't mind no frills - this motel is for you- people keep to themselves for the most part. I must say- don't come here to cause problems because these nice people don't deserve it. Give respect- get respect. One more thing- if you need room service- you need to be patient.. don't expect it fast but you'll get what you need ( that comes with the room) .. ( they get to you as soon as possible) be patient- they are nice.

This is an older motel, but it it has been maintained and is clean. The staff came through for our family during a very difficult time. The Manager and her daughter are amazingly kind and helpful. We would stay here again without a second thought. I do wish the ac worked a little better but overall we were comfortable. Thank you for being there for us.

Stopped here on a road trip with my dog. Stayed based on recommendations and try to support local non-chain locations. Room was un-kept, no towels ... called and asked for some and never arrived, even went to Office, rang bell, no one answers (around 7PM.) It doesn't appear room had been cleaned in some time; food was left in microwave ... overall ... avoid.

Manager was very sweet and even offered me a temporary job while I was staying there. . I stayed in the motel for 1 week and worked for 9 days straight.I was complimented by the manager on the great job I did cleaning the rooms. I cleaned my room the day I left. Like I said the manager was great until I called to pick up my paycheck. She claimed I left the room "trashed". I cleaned my room exactly the way I cleaned all the rest. The owner is not going to pay me and I am currently fighting via Dept of Labor to get my money..Buy the way it is illegal to hold a paycheck without written consent of the employee or for tax purposes.It is a punishable in a court of law. You would think the owner would not do something so hurtful or illegal. I don't think these people have their heads or hearts in the right place. I was not just a temporary employee I was a guest and I have never been treated. so poorly. The rooms are great but do not work for them. This is my opinion of the owner and management of the motel. It isn't just how it looks on the inside, it's how you treat people as well. I pray they treat the next employee with more respect. Oh yes I almost forgot, I was staying in motel courtesy of a local church because I was homeless and out of work and the manager knew I was having a difficult time and needed that money. I am sure they will justify themselves in some manor and that's alright. I just think the public deserves to know how they operate outside of the great rooms which are due to the spectacular maids they have there. Good job girls.

First we selected a non-smoking room yet it reeked of old smoke. There were no clean towels. One of the over the bed lamps cover was missing. The rooms smoke detector was missing. The website said the room we selected hat two QUEEN size beds but only had double. And the TV didn't work. I'm giving 2 start rating only because the staff was friendly.

I booked 3 rooms for two days. When I got to my room in the morning someone else was in it. Ran out of hot water during a 15 minute shower. Walls are thin. Bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. House keeping needs some work. Also looks like at some point all the doors to every room have been kicked in at one point in time.
