Took my Doberman here for a nail trim and bath. The staff was very friendly and was able to accommodate shampoo for dogs with sensitive skin.

We were very disappointed with the grooming of our Labradoodle who is brushed almost daily. She has fleece like fur and was shaved so short it caused sores in her hind leg quarter around her bones. The groomer said she was “badly matted” when we complained. We were charged $115 for red sores that now have to be treated and healed. Our original groomer retired which is the only reason we tried Pampered Pet. Never going back.

I had an appointment booked 6 weeks in advance, which is fine, all groomers are pretty booked out. However, I got a text an hour before the appointment saying that it was cancelled, but I could take my dog to another place in Post Falls because they wouldn’t have time to groom my dog. So, that changed my commute time from 15 minutes to 35 mins one way. Very unprofessional and inconvenient to get that notification one hour before the appointment, not be able to switch my appointment to a later time/date, and only be offered an appointment at a groomer significantly further than I had planned.

We took our pitbull to the pampered pet grooming and upon picking her up witnessed them “drying” her, her locked in a kennel and then using a blow dryer. They did not brush her to try and de-shed her afterwards at all. Then on the car ride home she clung to me and I looked down at her leg to see that there is a huge bruise. Blood vessels or something. I’m traumatized and so is my dog. It’s hard enough to find someone to want to groom a pitbull, then this. Awful experience.

The staff always took amazing care of our tiny, old poodle. She always went in looking a bit disheveled and came home looking and feeling amazing. The staff is wonderful!

Pampered.. YEAH RIGHT. More like butchered. I can't believe I even paid them. I couldn't examine my dogs at pickup as they were wanting out of there so bad, but the more I look at them at home the more infuriated I get. I'm not the type to leave a google review but this is bad. We brought our 2 doodles in who live inside and are very clean and the first words out of her mouth were "they're such a mess" and when we asked what we can do to not have them shaved to the bone she said we could "take them somewhere else".. this is your job. They are supposed to be doodle experts but scolded us on how "matted" they were. Dog grooming may be an in-demand service right now but they let it get to their heads and don't have any customer service. They then shaved our dogs, made my male dog look horrible and cut his skin in a bunch of places. To top it off they UP CHARGED for excessive matting and they obviously made NO attempt to brush through they just shaved it off as both dogs were done in an hour and a half. No dog needs cut this tight to the skin put a guard on it. Never again. Take your pet somewhere else.
