We bought two collapsible crates for our GSDs. We are keeping both dogs, one male 40+” and one female 40”, intact, so we need a secure way to transport and to house them without any accidents. What if we go on vacation and Elsa goes into heat? We’re ready to go with these quality crates. And they are a breeze to set up. The smaller crate fits in our car, so the other crate will be collapsed until we reach our destination or campground.We’re very happy with our purchase and we’re glad we only need to buy them once! The wire crates will now serve their second purpose as chicken transport crates to the processors. Chicken feet and necks for the dogs! Win win.

Impact crates customer service has been beyond fantastic! I originally order 3 collapsible crates, pads and liners for my 3 pups but I was so worried about sizing because my dogs are long/tall. Once I received my order they made it easy to exchange since I did have a sizing issue (thought one was too big). Made the switch pretty easy and found out that the one I switched to was unfortunately too tall for the airline we’re traveling on. Impact was more than generous with switching my crate size (again) because of my mistake. They have been nothing but kind and patient with me since I’m struggling with my first overseas move!The crates are impeccable - crafted from lightweight metal so it’s easy to pick up but still sturdy enough that we know our pups will be protected throughout our move. We invested in these crates because we know they’ll last us years to come. I love everything I have purchased from Impact. I have the collapsible crate, wheel cart, orthopedic crate pad and liner, and the grooming pad for my German Shorthaired pointer. It is heavy duty as it should be to do it’s job, so if your looking for inexpensive and light weight, this is not the set up for you. But if your looking for something that will protect your dog as you travel this is perfect! It is well worth the money spent! We travel a ton with our dogs to competitions so it’s well worth it!

We love this crate!!! We recently rescued an emaciated female mastiff, the wire crate we had purchased was not cutting it! We are so thankful for Impact Crates donating Mabel a collapsible crate to keep her safe and secure. Highly recommend Impact Crates!

I was skeptical when I first heard about the High Anxiety Crate but then I read lots of reviews about it and started to loosen up my thoughts about it. Although the price is hefty (for my budget), it brings peace of mind knowing our high anxiety dog (Husky/GSD) is secure and safe when we have to leave her alone, as well as our home being safe from being torn to shreds while we are out. She has grown accustomed to it and it's her safe haven now. We give her a toy and treats when we place her inside the crate. It is very well made and seems military grade and destructive proof. It's also not as heavy as I had assumed it would be, easily carried by two people with the convenient handles. We love it and plan to purchase another in the future for our slightly high anxiety GSD. Highly recommend!

Excellent crate for our high anxiety dog with separation anxiety. It is comforting that I can leave her for a couple of hours without worrying that she will injure a tooth or claw or damage our house by digging out of the crate, something she was working on in her old crate. So I guess it reduces my anxiety as well as my dog's lol. The Impact crate is very solid. I got the white color, which looks less industrial and blends in nicely with our other decor. It came within a few days and was easy to put together. I am very happy with the purchase!

After a major car accident last fall that totaled my car, safety became the utmost importance when selecting a new vehicle. After doing my research on my safety, the next logical step seemed to be, making sure my dog would be safe as well. Since we travel together 4-5 days a week, it's a very real concern. Now that we have the collapsible crate in the back of the car I feel 100% confident in her safety.

A good investment This crate is like one they used in the 1993 Jurassic Park movies.🤣 It is incredibly strong, and well built. Our precious, sweet rescue that is part Great Pyrenees’s, part Shepherd has escaped and damaged every crate she has been in. She would try to escape for hours from other crates until she finally got out. It was amazing!! But it seems that after a short time of trying to get out of the Impact crate, she settles down and waits for us to return. A severe case of separation anxiety, which we are working with her on….she’s worth saving. ❤️🐕 The crate is designed to make the dog feel more secure, I assume. Even though it seems dark and gloomy, I think it is somewhat comforting to the dog. She feels secure inside it. Of course, we still can’t put a mat or anything inside it because she will destroy it, so we put old rugs , towels, blankets inside along with her favorite chews. The latches make us feel like we are locking up an exotic tiger or lion, but it is very secure. We didn’t really have space for this crate, so I wish it had casters to move it more easily It is nice gray color, easy to clean and basically has resale value. Although, these crates are costly, we were losing so many things she destroyed while we were gone (a doggy camera being one) that it seems worthwhile. The warranty will outlast this dog, so, IF, we decided we didn’t need it anymore, we would be able to resell it for a decent price. So, all in all, the Impact crate is well worth the cost and we are 100% satisfied with the crate and the results we are getting. Anyone that has a dog that has escaped or destroyed other crates would be doing themselves a favor getting an Impact. It was also fairly easy to assemble. Also, the packaging was genius!! A quality company, a quality product. Thank you 🙏🏼

Customer service is great, I love that it's made in the US, too. I have a husky who hates being alone, and this crate keeps him SAFE. He's broken out of THREE wire crates, each stronger than the last, and he just is too strong. My guy even moved the kennels at a boarding facility BY HIMSELF. This crate keeps him in. It keeps him from destroying anything when we have to leave him home and from possibly hurting himself. Seriously worth the money and the staff is so great in answering questions. I'm so happy I got this.

Anxious Dog The crate, although quite large for our house, is just what we needed for our anxious rescue. He tore through the wire crate, nearly killing himself so we needed something more secure. The crate was shipped within the timeframe advised, which was great! I would suggest using the video instructions rather than the paper ones as they are much more helpful! Overall - happy our dog is finally safe and we can feel at ease when we have to leave him alone.

Worth every penny! Brought home a Rottie pup and knew a regular wire crate wouldn't suffice. I am so thankful I spent the extra money to get this crate (40+ collapsible with pup divider) as it gives me peace of mind knowing she isn't going to hurt herself (at least as easily) on it, because especially at this age boy is she a chewer!! A plus... she loves it! Who knew getting her to sleep in her crate would be easier than getting her to sleep on a doggie bed 😂

We adopted a Bully Mix from the shelter in June with MASSIVE separation anxiety. He is prone to self harm and screams like a velociraptor while crated-whether it’s 5 minutes or hours. After a major incident early on, resulting in a very expensive surgery, we learned that traditional crates just weren’t going to work for our pup. We initially upgraded to another heavy duty crate, but because of the bar spacing, he managed to get his mouth stuck-and that’s when we gave in and ordered the High Anxiety Impact Crate. It arrived very quickly. I did as recommended and called to see which items were currently on hand prior to ordering. Customer service was excellent via phone & e-mail. The crate itself exceeds expectations. Assembly was easy enough. The quality is top notch. The door allows him to see out, but doesn’t give him enough room to get hung up due to the holes. The added security of the latches and construction allow us to crate him in various parts of our home instead of having to seclude him in a room alone-which seems to comfort him, especially being able to see our other dog. And I am not sure if it’s due to being louder in the crate, darker, or having more of a small den like feel-but he doesn’t scream nearly as much. He seems to lay down and even somewhat relax, which we have never been able to accomplish previously, even with high doses of medication. If you are on the fence, just know, it’s absolutely worth the investment. It’s given us our freedom back, and I’m confident it’s the safest option for our little guy.

I love love love my Impact crates!!! My Malinois puppy is a little demon and the regular collapsible crate is enough to keeps him safe and contained. He doesn’t have any sort of crate anxiety but he is still going through crate training so he does scratch and paw at the door and this has kept him much safer than a typical wire crate. I have the 40” wide and tall and I can easily fold it down to less than a foot high and take it with us for travel. The crate pad is so snug he hasn’t even bothered with it and he’s definitely a chewer.I loved it so much I ordered a second. So worth it!

I was so lucky to find impact when I did. My Australian cattle dog struggled with severe separation anxiety when he was a puppy. We found impact and just knew we had to try it. It CHANGED our life.We got the collapsible crate that we could take everywhere, my dog loved it and just wanted to sleep there even with the door open. His separation anxiety decreased significantly and I had peace of mind living him at home.Impact changed not only my life but my dogs life. They would be forever my go to crates.

GAMECHANGING CRATEThis crate has changed my life. While I was very hesitant to make this kind of investment, it was highly recommended by my trainer & I have been thrilled since its arrival. My dog, a weimaraner, has struggled with anxiety & some OCD behaviors. in the past. I set up this crate in our living room with some of her favorite blankets & she & our other dog began racing each other for who could relax in there in the evenings. Eventually, she started opting to go in the Impact Crate for overnights (instead of her dog room upstairs) & now is doing amazing with multi-hour crating during the day! I now feel confident about leaving town and her being able to stay with our dog sitter instead of requiring someone to come to our home. Thank you, thank you, Impact Crates!

Both of our dogs use Impact crates for at home and on the go. As people who travel a lot, having collapsible crates is a big deal to us—and the Impact crates deliver on that. My dogs aren’t escape artists thankfully, but knowing that they have a well built, secure space to be in when left alone is a huge deal to me. And I love that they are based just 1.5hrs north of us! Seeing their facility first hand and seeing how the crates are made was such a neat experience. Supporting a family owned, local business that actually makes quality products is something I feel very passionately about. But it all boils down this: they make amazing crates. Love my crate! I needed something more secure for my border collie because she often comes with me to work. I wasn’t comfortable having her in her wire crate or just left out. This makes me feel much much more reassured knowing she is safe.

The design has helped tremendously with my dog's separation anxiety and they look way better in my home than the traditional wire ones! We purchased two 40” crates for our 60 pound Weimaraners. They’re perfect size and look amazing in the house. I feel safe leaving my dogs in the crate, vs a wire crate that they could get caught in. The customer service team was always so willing to help and answer any questions. I also love that they’re built right in Idaho!

Beware... Impact will resize crates at any time and drop support for them. I ordered a 40+ crate in March for my malinois. I have a puppy coming in the near future and now need a puppy divider. They since resized the kennel in April and refuse to carry or produce puppy dividers for a kennel that is less than a year old. What a waste of an investment.

we love our collapsible 40” wide + tall for our 80 lb shepherd and Wolfdog. we travel extensively and the sturdiness of the kennel and the portability makes it easy to take with us. it sets up in less than a minute and collapses down to 8 inches tall. we stay in a lot of airbnbs and having the dogs put away in the kennel gives me peace of mind they won’t destroy anything while we’re gone.

Impact makes a top of the line crate, and it's an added bonus that they're a local company. I'm always appreciative of a company manufacturing in the US. As far as the crates go - they're beautiful! We use our crate for traveling and trialing. The collapsible option makes it easy to set up and break down at events, but I know it's sturdy enough for my doberman in the car. I have peace of mind that my precious cargo isn't going to turn into a 70lb projectile if we are ever in a car accident. My dog gets to travel in safety and style. At home, I know she's not going to get herself into trouble when we're out by eating or chewing up kiddos toys, because she is safe in her crate. Impact has even branched out into collars and other dog accessories. We recently got a collar and I love that it's durable and has a nice quick release, which is so clever for agility trials when she needs to run without a collar on. All in all, we're thrilled with our Impact experience - from working with the sales team to get just the right crate, to the end result of a beautiful crate in our home and car!

I love this crate. I got one for my 95 pound German shepherd and it has been the best thing ever. We crate trained Atlas when he was 4 months old but he was about 45 pounds and he was nearly impossible to keep in other crates. Impact crates has literally been the only crate that has been able to one last him and two help him find confidence. Now he loves his crate and uses it daily as his space to chill. 10/10 would recommend. If you plan on traveling, consider their collapsible version. Takes about 5 minutes to set up and is built for a bull!

I have the high anxiety dog crate and it is a extremely durable crate that has been maligator and land shark tested. The anxiety crates are made to order and could take some time to be delivered but is worth the wait. I highly recommend this product.

Our house was hit by a tornado, and we needed another kennel for one of our dogs. The collapsible kennel literally made it to us in less than a week. Customer service was top notch through all 3 kennel orders. Kennels are extremely well built. Definitely worth the investment. Thank you Impact!

Took 3 weeks to ship even though website and confirmation email said 2-3 days, got it and the mechanism that allows you to secure it open was missing on the back panel…no way to use it. Contact customer service and am told a specialist will contact me in 2 business days.
