Had a big group riding from Plummer to Harrison on the Trail of the CDA so we called the day before to see if they’d stay open just a bit later than usual so we could make it on time to get soft serve ice cream. Tim agreed and met us out front when we got there. Super friendly! Chatted with us for a bit, gave us some great ice cream, and made us feel at home. Can’t wait to go back next year! Thanks Tim!

My local grocery. They don't have much to offer but when you are miles from anywhere they can tide ya over til you can get there. Best warmer food I've ever had! Hands down it's always good and I dont eat gas station warmer food! Great sandwiches and sundae bar in summer...sometimes wish the essentials weren't so pricey ( a local sometimes needs an emergency toilet paper run hehe) and the reap primitive most basic wipe is gonna cost ya but they are there for ya so can't beat that. The staff is great and owners love to chat it up with anyone new In town. Love this place. The place in harrison where everyone knows your name.

This little country store and liquor store has all of the basics. Including fresh bread and produce, a deli with fresh made to order sandwiches, hot and cold items, fishing and camping gear, as well as being a friendly place that you don't mind spending a little extra time just to chat at checkout. The staff knows all of the locals by first name. It's definitely a country hospitality kind of country store.

All roads lead to Harrison, ID for ice cream. One year ago and soon again tonight, we (a group of Spokane Valley cyclists) rode from the Trail of the CdA's trailhead in Plummer to the Harrison Trading Post for some well deserved ice cream. 32 miles of saddle time was enough to enjoy this well deserved treat! Can't recommend the Harrison Trading Post enough, stellar service and ice cream on top of it! Thanks to the Tim for providing us with was the best ice cream and service along the whole of the Trail of the CdA's! See you again tonight on this 100+ degree day for another round (scoop ;) I mean). Please stop in when you're passing through Harrison to the Trading Post whether on bike, foot, car or boat, the ice cream is still delicious however you choose to get there! #harrisontradingpost #harrisonidaho #irideforicecream

Great vacation spot. Harrison ID sits toward the beginning of the 70+ mile bicycle trail. We had a blast. Don’t expect too much customer service in the busy season as they can become understaffed .

a drive along the scenic byway was as much of an experience as it should be. stopping in Harrison to find an old fashioned shake or something seemed like the thing to do. we stopped in at the Harrison General Store and found what we were looking for. Soft serve ice cream cons and a group of cyclists to talk to about the trail they were riding nearby seemed to be enough for another trip that direction for a ride on the trail with a couple days of camping somewhere nearby if there is somewhere close there! I won't be the one riding but I'll go along for the ice cream! We are from the Wenatchee National Forest so being in the same type of atmosphere out here really brings it home. The John Wayne Trail- Palouse to Cascades Trail in South Cle Elum Wa, just before Snoqualmie Pass is where we live so its easy enough to get on and off the trail, and beautiful also

We were in to get syrup for our pancakes and asked if there were fresh berries available in town. the folks said no, but then thought they might have some in the back. They GAVE us a quart of frozen Huckleberries!!!GREAT Folks!

We love visiting Coeur d’Alene but especially the little town of Harrison. We always seem to make our way over this this town by boat when we visit CDA. We have always went to get ice cream at the store on the marina but recently after walking around the town we stumbled upon this store after seeing an ice cream sign. The owner of the store was SO sweet and they had the best, homemade rolled ice cream we have ever had. The boys both got some and they were a great price and could have easily shared one with the size. We will always revisit this little store for their rolled ice cream. Thanks guys!

Great little general store in tiny but charming Harrison. Get the hand rolled ice cream - it's fun and tastes amazing. The store is in a building that was a hardware store a century ago for added historical flavor. The proprietors here are also super friendly!

Went in because the ice cream shop was closed. Deli was closed due to problems with City water supply, out of individual ice cream bars, but they did have Ben & Jerry's. Good selection of items for camping (bratwurst, marshmallows, etc.)

Not only can you find (almost) anything here but they also have a deli shop inside. Tim, the owner, will give you some local tips and tricks. Get your snacks, dinner, wine, sandwiches and drinks here.

The shelves were pretty bare and disorganized for a grocery store. Seemed to say bakery on the outside but only wonder bread on the shelves.
