My family adopted Dash from Mountain Humane on Dec 31, 2021. She is a beautiful puppy that had a rough start in life. She is living her best life with her 2 brothers ❤️ Not a moments peace, which is how it should be 🤣❤️. The facility is amazing. It is extremely clean and the staff is quite knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring the animals in their care have all their needs (emotional, physical, and medical) met. The staff is extremely attentive to both the animal in need as well as the adoptive family. The process is thorough and all aspects of our dog’s life were explained in detail. Your staff and facility should be the gold standard model for all humane societies in the area. I recommend 10 ⭐️ For the customer service, knowledge and dedication to your animals. If you are looking to adopt take a beautiful drive, explore the area and expand your family. You will not be sorry!

I can hardly use words to express how much I was impressed by this place. Such an amazing NO-KILL animal shelter. This is the best animal shelter that I have visited. The whole facility is very eco-friendly and self-sufficient. The building has built solar panel and smart spray system to save energy and water.They also have different rooms for you to meet with your potential pets. You can either take the dog to playground, or they them to outdoor with or without leash, or you can meet in the acquiescence nook for more intimate interactions. With cats, you can also meet them at the cat cafe to enjoy some purring time.They offer FREE spay and neuter services for dogs and cats. They also have their own medicine area and lab to run tests for animals. Their program is really well-designed and their volunteers are super friendly. They have hiking buddies program where they take dogs out on hikes to bring more awareness of adoption. Also provide many trainings to teenagers and the community. Needless to say, dogs and cats are extremely adorable. I strongly recommend everyone to visit and support this place.

It seems like it is a good place to adapt a cat or a dog. A little bit in the sticks. But a nice place nonetheless.

We will never ever deal with Mountain Humane again the staff is very rude. We have dealt with them before years ago when we adopted 2 bunnies from them and the staff was amazing very nice and happy to help and last week the girl we talked to about fostering a cat to see if the cat would be a good fit for our family before we adopted was very nice we had our dog with us cause we didn't think it would be a problem the girl asked if our dog was update on her shots witch she is and she told us that we could put are dog in a play area while we looked at cats witch was Awesome, but today the lady we dealt with was very rude we had to take the cat back cause she was not getting along with our other cat and we had our dog with us again and the lady kicked us out after she grabbed the cat didn't ask any questions about what kind of home would be better for the cat, I get if it's not ok to bring my dog in with me witch I have seen other people do but there are nicer ways of saying it she could have asked my husband to take the dog back to the car while she asked me why it didn't work out with the cat and what kind of home do we think would be better for the cat. I am really heart broken about having to take the cat back and having to deal with rude staff didn't help at all, I just hope that cat finds a good home and we will never go back to Mountain Humane again.

Nothing was held back.. every detail was available to assure this would be the perfect match. Would recommend Mountain Humane to anyone looking to adopt a pet. I enjoyed the beautiful drive to Hailey and also visited their thrift store on Main Street.Thank you!!!

This is an amazing place, dedicated to helping animals. The staff is friendly and courteous. When I informed them it was my first visit, they took me on a personal tour. It is very evident they treat the animals extremely well. There is a training center and the cat area has an outdoor habitat to venture into. Everything was spotless and well maintained. The two kitties I transported there for a rescue will be treated like royalty

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We took our dog in today hoping we can put him up for adoption because we're having trouble with him getting along with my dogs. Whoever was working today (09/09/2022) around 4 p.m was super disrespectful and told us our dog wouldn't stand a chance to get adopted. Just because he's a big dog. She wouldn't even let me speak and talked over me. There was no reason for her to be treating us so poorly. Horrible customer service!

I don’t ever post reviews, in fact this is the first. I want to describe my resent adoption process with Mountain Humane. I searched online using pet finder where I first saw Blaze, a beautiful 3 year old Dutch Sheppard at Mountain Humane. I sent an email expressing interest, fully expecting not to hear back or at least to hear that she was no longer available. To my surprise within a few hours of my email I received a phone call from Lauren informing my that Blaze was still available for adoption and proceeded to tell me all about her. Lauren went on to inform me that I’d be receiving a call from Victoria to schedule an appointment to meet Blaze. In the meantime Lauren took the time to send me more photos of Blaze and a video.Victoria call as promised the very next day and gave me much more information about Blaze, we schedule an appointment and Victoria sent even more pictures and two more videos.Upon arriving at Mountain Humane you will be impressed with the scope and beauty of this facility, understanding that it’s purpose is to serve pets in a transitional phase in their lives. Blown away is an understatement. Some animals may not want to leave!We adopted Blaze, she is amazing! The staff here is incredible, professional and are so committed to placing pets in the right home, it’s beautiful! This process was first class from start to finish, I HIGHLY recommended this facility to anyone looking to adopt a pet. Bravo to all of the staff for a job well done, thank you!

When looking for the new pet dog in your life you tend to look for the best humane group you can find. The right fit is very important. I have looked at a number. The group I settled on was located about 3 hours from where I live. Yes, it was drive. Yes, I spent time interviewing a staff member, getting a feel that I was dealing with someone who was deeply concerned about me and the dog that I was interested in.Upon arriving at the Mountain Humain location, Haily, Idaho you will be impressed with a new building and business that let's you know you've made the right decision. I have never been in such a clean and classy place designed to bring animals and humans together.

Was fortunate enough to get a tour in the final stages of construction. This is going to be an amazing facility not just for our local Valley but for all animal lovers around the country they're going to come here and check this thing out and be blown away. The opportunity for education for all animal shelters is unlimited. We are so lucky to have this thanks to the generosity of the animal community and all the hard work of the people that work there and that will be working there with all the new jobs this facility has created. The solar array, ventilation and geothermal heating and cooling system is a the model of what should be happening in all construction, not just for a 30,000 sqft. high tech animal care operation. Amazing.
