Kate is one of the most caring people I have ever met when it comes to pets, and will go out of her way to help you with anything. She is always there when you have questions about a new puppy or how to help your aging dog. We love Kate, and love having her and her business in the valley. Check out her amazing dog wash set up as well as her huge variety of toys, food and doggy accessories.

5B paws & claws, besides the appropriate name for your cats and dogs. The owner researches the excellent food, litter everything she supplies in her store including the dog car wash. The car wash is quick, inexpensive. If any help is needed from the owner, she's more than happy to help. In addition there is even a special 5B parking space, right in front, to carry out that large bag of dog food. Other people in town, take advantage of that parking space too, not to shop at 5B paws & claws, which is rude, here in our small, yet growing town of Hailey.

It's raining and 40 degrees in mid June. OK for the plants, but I am wearing what I wore for warmth in March.So, of course I go downtown to look around.Four years ago, I got a Mackay Cow Dog (Border Collie) puppy.I needed everything for a dog because without planning to have a dog, I had a dog. (story for another time) String for a leash and a yogurt container for food and water... not tenable.It was then I became a visitor to the 5B Paws and Claws.Now I am a regular.The store has it all. I mean everything I'm looking for from a wide selection of food, beds, leashes, pet toys and every accessory, to an occasional beauty wash for my adventurous hiking buddy who will roll in it from time to time. (there is no water too putrid or muddy to luxuriate in should the need arise, followed by the mandatory dry cycle roll in the dust, weeds or whatever) Ours are mostly fresh water jaunts, but the unexpected pride a dog will display suddenly prancing along with glistening fresh poo on the fur sometimes requires pro treatment at the 5B salon.Yeah it's a great store. But I also go in just to say hello and chat. I really do appreciate the friendship and conversation and go figure, the people that come in are pet friendly.And yeah, I just came home from the 5B and thought, that was a really nice visit.

Best little pet shop in the valley, always a friendly smile and knowledgeable advice. Kate is my guru on pet food! And Gidget, my little Havanese, loves to stop by for a treat. They have much more than pet food, they offer supplies, treats, toys, you name it... even a small do-it-yourself dog wash. And the place is always immaculate. :)

I'm so grateful to 5B because I get the best high end dog food, toys and treats!! My dog is welcome e to stroll the store and pick his treats and toys!! So cool! (On a leash, of course!) Kate the owner is always sweet and helpful ☺️ Best experience ever

Love this place. Always very helpful & knowledgeable. Friendly every time I go in to me & more importantly my dog. Great in & out dog wash for only $15. If I need more than that its to the groomers I go. Great selection of treats & toys too!!!

Dakota and I LOVE 5B paws and claws! Kate, the owner, is SO WONDERFUL! She's always so sweet and accommodating! I have an XL eight month old puppy and Kate has always been so helpful, knowledgable and loving (even when Kota pees in her store 😁). We are definetly loyal customers because Kate always takes great care of us! Thank you 5B!

This store is a fun, even an educational place to get food, and whatever your needs are for your animal. The CS is friendly and informative. I also like the clean environment. It's like a small Disney World. Love going in there. It makes me smile... 😃

Turned us away ! wanted to bath our dog and also buy some products. person there didn't want to clean up after us. Like we don't know how to clean up after ourselves. We would of spent 200 dollars there but after that kind of treatment will never go there again.

I want to thank owner Kate Nixon who helped my baby, Boston Terrier Zoe fight cancer. She lived 18 months longer than she was diagnosed because of Kates expertise in dietary needs.
