Great place 😁staff is fun, extremely friendly and helpful. Cute market in a small Idaho town just off the interstate. They have gas, groceries and wonderful fried chicken to satisfy your tummy. Better than some of the big town markets. Highly recommend this place. Small towns are the best😁

Brock the white girl with the black that was working at 2pm Sunday is disrespectful words I can’t say. From the chicken and potato salad to the sodas I just bought to she slammed all of them across the register cracking the rotisserie chicken pkg and I can’t drink either of the drinks I just bought for today… until tomorrow … I am tiered of buying stuff in your store just to have ruined at your register because your cashier thinks it’s ok to disrespect customers until she apologizes to me… I won’t spend another dime there… AND SHE LAUGHED AT ME ABOUT IT… I was about to spray her like I keep getting sprayed because of your disrespectful employee…

This is an awesome local grocery store. They have a great selection for a small grocery store. The cashiers are friendly, yet slightly distrustful of outsiders. The produce is good, and the beer and wine selection is awesome. The parking lot is never full, so you don't have to park on the street. It's really not very far away from very much in Glenns Ferry.

You will not find friendlier people or better prices anywhere. You have to drive off the interstate and drive into town, but it's only a couple of minutes. They have groceries, reading material, gas and even fresh flowers. Highly recommend.

I will never shop at this store again , worst experience of my life I've had better customer service at walmart and that's shocking to say the manger was very rude to me and wouldnt even stand some what close to me ,she was like 15ft away from me. I was treated rudely in front of all the customers , and the workers are never friendly they dont greet you when you walk into the store and hardly talk to you when cashing out. Never going there again. They lack actual groceries I saw more junk food and candy then actual foods.

Kind friendly employees, store is pretty clean..2 stars for that. Other than that, I'd rather buy anything anywhere else if there was an option.Check expiration dates! (Explination at the end)The price of everything is extremely high, there was a time I went to check out and the girl working the register actually went back to check if the price was correct.Again, check expiration dates. That's the main thing, is a lot of their products are way way past their due date. I understand a few days.. maybe even a week but we're talking 6+months on some things. I get it, you're the only store in that part of the small town but no need to take advantage of the residents there. I only visit the town, but quickly learned to stock up on things I might need as I pass Mountain Home..

I like the staff well the ones that actually acknowledge you. Sometimes you can't even get a hello when you walk in, shop, then pay. I've seen several people not even get spoken to while paying for their stuff. Buying anything bread related is a bad idea. I've come home and had bread molded in the middle of the loaf. Not visible when it was purchased. I've grabbed things off the shelf and they are way passed the date. If you aren't one for checking dates....avoid.

Have shopped here for 7 years and find that Southside has always strive to make the shopping experience enjoyable, friendly and hometown proud. When they do not have something, it just takes a request and the owners will do what they can to get the item.

Salsaid is like an all new store now. Reaching out to the community for organic foods locally sourced and grown. Is an all new meat department. The produce is fresher than it has ever been with a lot of locally grown items.

I travel a lot and stop here sometimes. I won't be back unless its in the morning. I was there Monday night and the older woman (Helda?) couldn't be bothered because she was too busy chit chatting with her boyfriend. Terrible customer service. If you have cameras you should check them. I am sure sales are down on her shift.

Great store with lots of options and good prices. Stopped there for a pit stop and the bathrooms were clean and the staff were really friendly. It's got just about anything you'd need!

Southside is an expensive and extremely unhealthy place to buy groceries. Their inventory of produce is lacking in both quality and quantity; very little of it is actually fresh. There is more candy and processed junk food than there is anything else. It makes it hard to root for a small business when they're profit comes at the expense of their customers' health.

I'm a semi-outsider ,kinda local,who shops here alot. Of the 2 choices in town this is the best bet. Best meat selection,Brock has great sales, and cuts meat in store,so ask he'll get it for you! They will carry alot of fresh local produce. Vast variety, forget it. Organic? Nope. Health foods? Nada. This ain't no warehouse store, pretty much western family brands,or name brands. Glenns Ferry ain't fancy and neither is Southside. But you'll find what you need, and you can ask for what you want! The fried chicken is yummy,the cashiers friendly, and unlike Walmart you won't have to wait an hour to check out.
