This was a fun diner with amazingly friendly service. Just what I was looking for -- fun photos on the walls with someone slingling breakfast goods in the back!We had Biscuits and Gravy and the Beck's Hash Breakfast. I would recommend 👌! Right by the train tracks and fun, old town feel** when she asks if you want the half order of Biscuits and Gravy ID suggest saying yes...we got a whole order and it was HUGE!

After we had been seated and ordered, about an hour later were told they didn’t have what we ordered. We placed a new order and the food was terrible. The hash browns were burnt almost black. No picture but let’s just say we didn’t even take the scraps for our dogs to eat. Very dissatisfied and disappointed that the cook AND server felt the food was good enough to deliver to us and our 2 year old daughter to eat.

This place is very homey and the patty melt was delicious. I have to admit when it was first brought out I thought it was awfully burnt but after I took a bite I realized it was just dark bread. There were only 2 employees, a table of 4 and me and my boyfriend and it took FOREVER to get our food so that’s the reason for 3 stars. The handicap bathroom is laughable. I am not handicap and had to squeeze around the sink to sit on the toilet so definitely not wheelchair accessible.

I've eaten here before so I know there are some menu items that are delicious. However, in general I'd say most of the food is average. I feel like service is always pretty good here whether there is many or few people eating here. Socially they could be more conversational to those that enjoy that as part of their experience but I'm not complaining since I like not having to strike up a conversation all the time. The atmosphere is good I just think the ambiance could be more defined.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu but this time I went with my nephew and as far as I know there is no high chairs or anything of the sort.

My husband and I dropped in for dinner and a beer after a hot day of vacationing. I had a roast beef with peppers and onions. My husband had a hamburger with the works. Both came with a choices of sides. Our food was hearty and good. The appetizer, mushrooms, were not cooked enough. Our waitress took care of that quickly. She was an excellent server who was there to refill drinks and get our food to us when it was still hot and without interfering with our conversation. It’s a quick stop off 1-84E (second Glenns Falls exit) and is close to the state park. We recommend this restaurant.

The Dill Pickle soup is a must! My wife had the Angus Filet Mignon with green beans...TASTY! I had the "Johny" burger, with sautéed jalapeños & onions plus pepper-jack...1/2 lb patty...Juicy and tasty, with Tots -- one of the more perfect forms of potato. Staff of five Divine, lovely & friendly women -- an excellent combination!

My husband and I went to Glenn's Ferry for his birthday, and new years eve. We spent 2 nights there and ate at Beck's Railhouse for all of our meals. Night one, Prestina cooked probably the best tri- tip steak my husband has ever had, while my chicken strips were hand battered, and delicious. For lunch, the cook Mike made our burgers. Mine was cooked to perfection and the cheese was so melted it was sliding down the burger! Yum! New years day, Alesia served up the most amazing biscuits and gravy! Oh man, so dang good! The portions are very large so come with an appetite!We also spent time in the attached Derail bar where Cheri, Mike and the other bartender (they called her Rosie but I'm not sure that's her actual name) were on top of our needs and made sure we weren't in need of anything. If you ever have a chance to stop in to this establishment, you won't be disappointed. Very friendly, top notch experience. To the staff that took such great care of us, thank you all. For the excellent service, the friendly environment and the full bellies. We will definitely return!Dietary restrictions: We mentioned that my husband has food allergies and they paid close attention. We never found items he couldn't eat on his plate.

EDIT-Guess I really struck a nerve that the service AND food is better at Mcdonald’s. LOL. YES they use a microwave and i will go in there and take a picture of it. If it’s not microwaved, it’s burnt AND undercooked, like how do you burn and undercook a pancake at the same time? I used to do that as a kid but for a full grown man to mess up such simple orders is super sad. Don’t even get me started on the waitresses bad attitude, always on their phones or staring into the abyss. Food is unappetizing at best. Rude servers. I tried to give them another chance today being it’s one of the only restaurants in this town but it is so gross. Everything is microwaved, no one knows what’s going on or what they’re serving to who. DO BETTER. I truly have no idea how they manage to mess everything up, even a simple pancake. So disappointing honestly and just a gross environment that smells like cigarettes and undercooked food.

I'm so glad Google prompted me to review this "Bar& Restaurant"!! We we're so hungry and I just gotta say they were AWESOME!!First of all, the Ladies were really nice🙂!!! You could kind of feel like a harmonious vibe going with the staff and I thought that was 👍. They had all these neat carvings on their tables relative to the Oregon trail.. Very Unique... & the FOOD!! OH MY!!! IT WAS SOOO BOMB!!( GOOD) My Rueben sandwich was sooo melty and yummy!!! Tots cooked to perfection!!with Fry sauce... My fiance's BLT was screaming too! We will definitely be going there again when traveling between Twin Falls & Fruit land

This was literally one of the best chicken fried steak dinners I have ever had, not much else to say other than the whole meal was done perfectly. Salad was fresh and delicious as well! The perfect comfort food after being on the road all day yesterday. I was so thankful to Beck’s RailHouse for being willing to take my to-go order even though it was past closing! ❤️ I appreciated that so so so much, as this was not something they had to do. Everyone was so extremely welcoming and kind when I walked in, I already cannot wait to come back in again! 😊

I’m a full-time RVer, and just happened to stumble upon this little hidden treasure. This fantastic little restaurant is a piece of americana. Great service, great food, great prices. It’s a wonderful, wonderful little restaurant.

This is a small quant little restaurant/bar. I like that the bar is separate from the dining area. We had lunch with our small kiddos with the intent of having breakfast but we passed the cut-off time. We ordered the Idaho Cheesestake sandwich and 1 pound hamburger with fries. It was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We are definitely returning whenever we are in the area.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was good.

I gave them a one star, our meal wasn't ready when we got there to pick it. The reason was because they ran out of prime rib but could pick up the phone to call to make changes to our order. Then we had to wait another hour for them to cook my steak ..then they failed to inform us that they had no vanilla ice cream for our root beer floats. So then we had blackberry floats.(which were nasty) We finally get home to eat our meals and boom another negative.. they burnt the shrimp and the clams...😫😫🤬🤬😫😫 What the heck is going on... So bottom line is if you want to spend an extra hour to wait for your food and then to have your order totally not ready and then to not have what you ordered.. then this is your place...lol..
