Really enjoyed the enclosed hot spring here! The amount of guests in the pool at any given time is managed and capped, so it rarely feels crowded. The changing rooms recently had their floors redone, which is nice, but now so not drain very well. The bar is open to guests while they wait for their turn in the water. There is even a nice shallow section that is appropriately warm for toddlers.

A nice hot springs pool option not too far from Boise. Not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. This would be a great place to unwind after a day of rafting on the Payette. I'm sure I'll be back!

Terrace lakes is the best place to get food and have drinks in Garden Valley. The atmosphere is always welcoming and friendly and the staff are so fun and make you feel exactly the way a small town should, like family. The pizza is BOMB and the view from the patio is the best in the valley. If you’re trying to decide where to go for a great vibe in Garden Valley, the locals go to Terrace! Plus, at times you can see lots of wildlife on your way and it’s just beautiful being immersed in wilderness and mountain life. Check out the hot springs pool too. Friendly staff. Food has always been delicious here, that is up until our last visit. Kids were hungry while swimming. I ordered food. Cheeseburgers were missing the cheese, no big deal. Kids were done swimming so I loaded them up and took the burger inside to ask for cheese. While I was waiting for staff, the person cooking let's out a huge burp then coughs right over the food prep area (not covering his mouth) grossed me out beyond words. Especially knowing my other two kids had already started eating their food. As soon as I got back in my truck I took everything and tossed it when we got home. If that was just a glimpse of their "safe food" practices I can't imagine what else is going on. I worked in the food industry myself. You cough in your darn arm or try to cover it some how. Waist of $50 and a total disappointment that commen sense isn't at hand for food being made for guests.

Unfortunately hot water main broke while we were there, but they were fixing. Coffee maker did not function but they gave us a free coffee. Rooms small and dated but bed was comfortable. The cabins seemed nicer so would go with that option next time. Great location! Beautiful area. Excellent value- room was inexpensive. I felt bad giving just the 3 stars for the room since some of this was beyond their control. They were very accommodating.

The worst hospitality experience at any hot spring resort ever... I was shocked and disappointed by the lack of hospitality, and the bad management decisions to voice one set of rules when I arrived and to enforce a whole new set of rules at their leisure (or incompetence). I will never go back.

We only came up to go into the pool, and we ate at the lodge. The pool is nice and it was warm, about 95 degrees. It was very comfortable and you could bring your own cooler. Weekends will be busier. I would like to try the golf course. It looks really nice with all the trees. The lodge restaurant food was really good. The service was exceptional and again the food was delicious. The second time, we went up there. We tried their pizza, and it was great. This would be something to order while you're at the pool. The atmosphere is quiet at times and feels great being up in the mountains. Great place for family adventures.

This started out as just a pick off the internet, but ended up as one of the most wonderful destinations we could of picked for our 59th wedding anniversary. The room was a comfortable cabin in the shade of the pines, quiet and close enough to the pool and restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, and went the extra mile to help us celebrate our anniversary. The pool was warm, clean and clear, and the grounds were nicely tended to. The restaurant was clean and orderly and the food was very good and reasonable. We are not golfers, but there was a lot of activity on the course, so I guess it was popular. We absolutely recommend this establishment

It's a little piece of heaven up there. I honestly hate to review because it's been a secret getaway for a lot of locals like myself for years. But the secret is out, so I might as well support local and give them a shout. I grew up going here, and now I own a cabin just up the road from the lodge. I'll continue to go here until the day I die or move from Idaho.

Cool place to go. Went in January 2023 for some swimming in the hot pool and lunch in their restaurant. Amazing views and beautiful drive from Boise. Very surprised how busy the resort was for a mid Jan. day at a golf course resort. Kids sledding down hills, lots of folks in the pool. Couldn't even find a place to park. Plan for very slow service in the restaurant (wasn't very busy). Bar with pool tables, shuffleboard, and a nice view. I had an excellent Bloody Mary. They serve alcohol pool side and although it was crowded the pool was a perfect 101 degrees.

A local favorite. Terrace Lakes offers great food, hot springs pool, golf and a great setting. This time up we sat out by the pool and got a sun tan. We ordered a pizza, hot wings and deep fried mushrooms to take back to our cozy one room cabin. It was all super good. The pizza was honestly one of the best I have had in a very long time. The wings were prepared with a dry rub and cooked to perfection. It was a great experience and only one hr drive from Boise.PS: Please don't tell anybody :-) let it be our secret.Food & drinks: One of the best pizzas I have had in a very long time. And the hot wings were perfect just the way I like them.

We enjoy the location of this resort. In winter a nice soak in the hot springs pool, surrounded by pine trees and fresh air just soothes the soul.Grab a snack or enjoy a beverage at the club house. Feels like a throw back to the 80's in the two story bar/restaurant.And in the summer months they have a great golf course or tennis courts.Open to the public. Or be a member by buying a cute mountain property in the neighborhood.

Decided to get away during the week and take in some hot springs. Choose Terrace Lakes because it's a short drive from Boise and heard good things. We checked in around 3pm. Lady at reception was nice but not personable. I thought the rooms were upstairs from where we checked in. No, upstairs is the restaurant. The motel is across the road. It appears to be a converted mobile home. Be prepared, the rooms are small and very basic however they provide everything you need for a night or two. A bed and a bathroom. On arrival the water was not working and this effected the motel, restaurant, and hot springs pool. We wanted to use the hot springs pool right away however we couldn't because the water pump was not functioning resulting in cool water. We ended up in the restaurant/bar which is spacious with big screen tv's, darts and pool tables. They also serve a variety of good food. After a couple of hours we decided to try the pool again, no luck. The water temperature had dropped quite a bit. We called it a night and would try again in the morning. Next morning, the pool was still not up to temperature. We decided to leave since there was nothing left to do. We stopped in Crouch for coffee, to find out the only coffee shop is closed on Wednesday. We went to the local grocery store where they had fresh hot coffee available for a reasonable price. Overall, I'll try again but will go in spring or fall for a day trip. Not recommended during the winter.

Not impressed. The so called motel (old run down mobile home) is a joke. The rooms are the smallest I've seen, not to mention the plumbing (drains not draining) water smells bad and the mobile home aka motel is leaning so you can't stand up straight. I expected much better for a "resort" . Everything is run down including in the restaurant and the bar and the pool area. Felt like i stayed in a run down mobile home park. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful. I don't plan on returning. Also wish they would have told me there was a golf tournament going on the weekend I planned on being there when I reserved it.

When checking in, we had to wait our turn. We signed the check in receipt, we were handed the key, and the girl walked away. I had to ask where we went. I know she was busy, but dang. The motel room was clean and SMALL. The bed was very firm. The kitchenette was a small sink, a microwave and mini fridge. It was located in a hallway, it had a locked door at the end that apparently went to a different room, through which we could hear our neighbors clearly. The shower/tub combo was a high step to get into and the tub is small. The pool was amazing!!!! Warm, clean, pool noodles and balls to use.The restaurant was ok, they seem short staffed. The staff was friendly. We don't golf, but the course looked beautiful!Overall, a good stay for the price! Beautiful location!!!!!!

The cabin was clean, and so quaint! We ate at the restaurant/bar, the staff was great and the food was absolutely amazing!! Had clams for an appetizer, sirloin steak for one main dish and a mushroom burger for the other. (Btw..sirloin is divine, but when they are out they are out!)Played some shuffle board, the environment/atmosphere is wonderful.(They have pool tables, dart boards, and big screen tvs upstairs in the bar area, as well as shuffle board. The resort also has a heated pool.)Recommendations for anyone who likes having a room in the woods, but doesn't like hotel settings.
