They kept our dog in a kennel without water or letting him pee for almost 4.5 hours after our 12pm appointment.My wife called at 4:30pm to check on him due to the extreme wait, they said he's the next dog up... what's the point of having appointments if they're just going to kennel them for THAT long.We asked them to shave him head to toe completely for the summer, they didn't even do that. He's very uneven on his head, with very long hair on his ears and tail still.When we walked out of the groomer our dog peed for about 30 seconds, showing he was holding it for a LONG time, then we got him home and he drank his entire water bowl, showing he was kennelled without water or bathroom the entire time.I wish I could give negative stars, we'll be going elsewhere for our grooming needs forever.

I took my dog in to get groomed, after her being there 1 hr they called to tell me they would have to shave her to her skin because of her matted hair clumps around her neck. It's December!! I was said no.. when I picked her up I was told the ONLY way to get thru the mats would be to shave her to her skin, I was told the lady had groomed dogs for 20 years and knows what she's doing.. good thing I didn't listen to them. I came home brushed her out, used my cheap clippers and had her neck hair cut short not bald!. I was trying to avoid the cold weather for myself and my dog.. I guess if there's any work past using clippers they can't handle it??? Very disappointed to have wasted my time waiting and driving to Emmett for nothing!! The lady was also very snotty. Would not recommend!!

Our sweet mastiff nervous for her first time but staff was so patient and kind with her. So friendly and knowledgeable. Loved our first experience and will definitely recommend and go back. Thank you bunches for all you do for our fur babies!!

I took my dog to be groomed on September 25. They said she acted like she had never been groomed before which was alarming since her past groomer loved her and groomed her since she was 12 weeks old!! When I brought her home I noticed she had lots of hair that hadn't been trimmed and small cuts on her nipples. Today, September 30, she had to go to the vet for what I thought was a cut on her cheek. Turns out she had been burned by the clippers! We now have an ointment for it and hopefully it will not get infected. 110$ and a bad haircut later. We will not be going back.

They are reasonably priced for their services. The runs are indoor /outdoor, indoor is climate controlled with heat and AC depending on season, plus fans to circulate air well, the indoor part of the kennels are always clean when I've been there, odor free. The owner is very nice. They accommodate supplements, feeding your food or theirs. Highly recommend.

So today we dropped off our beautiful golden for her summer cut. When I made the appointment back in May, I had high hopes with how booked out they were. Everyone said Katie was the best - so we dropped her off. I had already told them the instructions over the phone - cut pretty short but leave her feathers, no blow dryer because it scares her. They asked once again what I wanted and it seemed like it would be good. Normally it takes about 8 hours to cut and air dry her - we got the call she was done 4 hours later. She had barely anything trimmed off, uneven cuts along her ears and back of her legs, loose fur coming off everywhere, and she seemed stressed out. My husband showed me our baby girl and I couldn't believe how panicked she was and how awful it was - barely anything off for $55 and a stressed out pooch. I called to let them know I wasn't happy with the cut, and Katie said "Well you asked for a blown out golden cut - I don't trim goldens." I HAD ASKED FOR IT TRIMMED. After belittling me and saying I didn't know what I was asking for, she reluctantly said we could bring her back. Definitely not taking her back after that attitude and how obviously she had been blow dried and was terrified. DON'T TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR ANIMALS!

I visited Sunset Grooming and Boarding and went out to view their boarding area for the dogs. The first thing I noticed when I walked to the back was how freezing cold it was cold it was and that was with me wearing a jacket. The dog runs are inside outside however there is no protection from the cold wind blowing through the kennel. None of the dogs had any bedding at all or food or water. They had long-term boarding dogs and when I questioned about where their bedding was the worker tried to ignore my question. I kept asking where their bedding was if they got it later in the day or if you're supposed to bring in your own bedding or what. She finally admitted that the dogs didn't have any bedding because all they do is poop and pee on it so if they do that they do not get any bedding at all. There were several dogs being boarded here and none of them had any supplies. This is absolutely ridiculous and cruel. They had French Bulldogs shivering in the kennel and would not provide them any bedding because of them using the bathroom on it along with all the rest of the dogs. That should not be happening. All these dogs had to lay on was a cold concrete floor. It was very sad and the dogs were shivering. Regardless of where the dogs are using the bathroom these people are being paid to care for the dogs basic needs and not to abuse them regardless of the situation. This was absolutely cruel and I'm absolutely shocked at the heartless and cruel manner in which these dogs are being treat. These people need to be shut down or they need to be held accountable for the condition of these dogs. I would definitely NOT board my animals here ever.

The woman that worked there was no where to be found when we arrived, we waited for 20 min. When she did arrive she was rude and not very friendly with the dogs. Then she told me I couldn't leave my dogs food or bowl with her??

Katie is the greatest, I get my wheelchair stuck in the driveway every time I take Lil Bit in for her nails. Katie will do her nails first then gets me unstuck, which isn't easy since it's gravel ./
