Staff is always very friendly and attentive, but this store has stock issues with certain products. We recently placed an online order, which we frequently do, and half of the order was removed due to an out of stock set of items. No notice was given. No explanation could be provided about missing order items (I had to look myself to realize why it happened). It was mostly irritating because we lost a substantial discount in the final bill because the missing items dropped it below the required threshold. We would have made other selections, but again, no information was provided.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My 2 goldendoodles came in to get their regular face and tail trim and a bath, they had no matting or anything wrong. We told them to just give them a trim and my 2 dogs came out completely shaved in the middle of winter!! Don’t go here for grooming, they’re still obv my 2 cute dogs but not wha we asked for, considering it’s $130 per dog.

Great staff at this location whenever we go. Went in today for some aquarium supplies and Ellen the cashier was amazing. Helped us with all of our questions and great customer service. Definitely the best Petco in the Boise area.

DONT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. They lacerated my dogs nuts and had to send him immediately to the vet for stitches. Two weeks of a cone and medicine, yay. The vet already had their card on file, gives you an idea of how often this might happen..

The guys who run the fish department are very professional and knowledgeable. They also take very good care of the tanks. The selection of fish is great also.

Wow! The two people working were so kind and helpful. I was kind of a nightmare and wanted to purchase a cat tree that was already built (there wasn’t one available in the box), not only did they help me disassemble it to fit in my car but they also price matched the discount found online with no hesitation. So appreciative for their help! Definitely will be coming back to this location!

I had a great experience there. I used to be a Petco dog trainer and I listened in on their program and I was very happy. I currently am self employed dog trainer and I would definitely recommend them for public classes. I also scored on some clearance clothes. Best price ever.

I don't usually leave reviews on retail places but cashier by the name of Christel was a little rude. She repeated total to me rushing me when the payment screen or donation hadn't even came up yet and then she completely changed tunes when the next set of customers behind me even greeted them happily (which I didn't even receive) before I even finished the transaction. It was just a simple and quick transaction and the experience in the store had been just fine until then.

They usually have ferrets, which is a huge plus. Typically, pick up my cats paper litter here. Sometimes they have kittenscand, and then it's a mini outing tovpet them

Unprofessional. The staff thought we couldn’t hear them saying rude remarks about us on their headsets. After they were done having their gossip session about our fish tank, they left us and other customers waiting at cash register unattended for about 10 minutes. This is our third bad experience with them and the other store in Nampa. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

There could be more things for cats and if they're going to charge you for a bag, they could at least tell the customer beforehand. Instead, I found a 10 cent fee on my receipt.Other than that, my cats enjoy eating Pleasing Paté canned cat food better than Fancy Feast.

Probably the cleanest Petco I've been in. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Bought some cat toys that keep our cat up all night playing... so that's a good thing for her at least.

My female boxer pup just finished Puppy Level 2 training with Petco trainer, Danielle P. I am so happy I enrolled her through this course. It is amazing how much she's learned and grown in the 6 weeks. Danielle is a delight to work with, she is very thoughtful and really cares about what she does. If you're hesitant, you will not be disappointed if you go with Danielle as your trainer!

Hours were updated 5 weeks ago to claim this store is open until 8PM Mon-Fri. Drove 30 minutes only to find that the actual hours end at 6PM. If you can’t even handle something as essential and basic as letting customers know the appropriate operating hours, you can’t be trusted to be competent in any other regard.

Dropped off my puppy at 11:15 for a basic wash. Didn't receive a text or call that she was finished. Went in at about 1:20 to find out what the hell was taking so long and they forgot that she was "done." She wasn't done, because she was actually still wet. Let her sit in a cage for who knows how long for whatever reason. The lady "helping" me was also really rude and dismissive of me entirely.

We have been shopping at Petco for years. It's a good place to find specialty items for less common pets. We also like their Petco brand canned catfood. Like any specialty store, they can be pricey, so we choose carefully when shopping here.

Megan at Petco in Eagle is a great groomer. All of the folks there are friendly and give great service. We drive past other groomers to come here.
