Met our daughter here to drop off the grandkids. So we ordered food for us and the kids. We ordered a basket of onion rings which were unedible cause they cooked them to a oblivion. Ordered pasta and chicken steips for kids. Pasta was not cooked all the way, so the pasta stuck to your teeth. Chicken strios were ok. My burger was small and dry for being $12.00. So unless you like dry burgers, hard pasta and cooked to oblivion onion rings I would not recommend this place. We will not return.

We were quoted 1 hr when ordering an online pickup order of 4 pizzas totaling over $100. When arriving an hour later, we were then told it would be another 30 minutes. We then sat down and ordered mimosas ($9.50 each) and paid for them. We were then told the restaurant was out of orange juice. We ordered beers that were cheaper and not even offered the refund for the difference. After waiting for a total of 2 hours, we drove back to our cabin to 2.5 burnt pizzas. When calling the restaurant, Cara Stevens - manager, was completely rude. I was told the crusts were golden brown and they would not refund our money unless we drove all the way back didn’t there. No apologies, no customer service. We watched absolute chaos while waiting for our food and they were not busy, most tables were empty!!!!! We will not be back. Total disappoint in service and product!

We called in a pizza order gave them our credit card. We came in at the quoted time and the order was not even started. I asked for a discount for my pizza due to the order not being placed. The shift manager called the owner at my request and absolutely lied about the timing and the situation. Not happy! I will not recommend— this place is a joke.Pizza was raw on the inside when we got home. What a waste of time and money.

The food was great the service was just disgusting! The young lady that helped us hadn’t shower in about a week and keep coughing and putting her hands in her mouth and threw her greasy hair… every time she walked past the trash can she would touch it! Never washing her hands! Was so relieved when the cook brought our food to us!

Walked in at lunch time. There was one customer in the restaurant. Waitress asked us to order at the bar. Got a simple burger and tots. Burger was past well done. Waitress asked how was the meal, I explained the burger was overdone. Shrugged and left. For over $30 for 2 burgers I expect decent food and service. Would not recommend.

Great little local place. Regular pizza (Canadian bacon and pineapple) was awesome. Vegan pizza was okay, once we added a bit of seasoning it was perfect. Very helpful and friendly staff! We will be back. Thanks!

The place was moderately busy on a Friday evening. First sign of trouble was that you order up front and then pick a table. We were told our pizza would be 45 minutes… hoping that would not be the case we stayed. We very much enjoyed the very fresh and tasty, if a bit limited, salad bar offering and waited…. The time estimate proved accurate. The Payette Lake Supreme pizza was fantastic! Just the less than fantastic and inattentive wait staff that left a bit of an aftertaste…

We've done our best to give Growler's our local business, especially on Mondays. Called in, hold for 5 minutes, then disconnected. Got the order of a small veggie pizza and medium pepperoni pizza called in. I was surprised at the $65 price. I verified this and the server that took my order was friendly and said, "unfortunately, that's the cost." Throughout my order, he said "we're not very busy." 30 minutes later, my husband went to pick up the two pizzas and they said it would be another 30 minutes. He sat and chatted and had a beer and then asked about the order as it had been quite some time and they were not busy. At one point, another server told him that they were "really backed up." End of story is they never put an order in and it was nearing 8:00pm , so we asked to cancel the order. Nobody cared or checked, and apparently "have a nice day" means, " sorry."

One star. There was about 3-4 tables NOT busy at all. One of the tables said they had been waiting an hour and wanted their money refunded. The waitress is also the cook and didn’t answer any phone calls. Asked for the receipt the moment we paid. After the food finally came out after an hour, we asked for the receipt and the waitress said, “I don’t have it. You’re going to have to wait.” Me and a friend got here at 2pm and we have an hour break it’s now 3:08 and still don’t have our food. Many tables have left already because of the wait. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOUR HUNGRY. We NEVER come back.

The first time i ate here it was a Sunday and we placed a to-go order that had a salad bar included. We were told it would be ready in 45 min. We arrived right on time to find out that the salad bar had been put away.I attempted to eat here again and tried to order another salad bar. It was 7:02 and they told me they close the salad bar at 7 so i could not get a salad. The salad bar was still up and all ingredients were still out the entire time we were there. Multiple people also got access to the salad bar that had walked in after me. Not to mention the hour wait time for one pizza when the restaurant was not very busy.

For years Growlers in Donnelly has been our “go to” for pizza. The last couple times, and especially tonight, have been a service disaster. We called in for pizza to pick up. We were quoted a 30-40 minute wait. That was at 5:55pm. It’s 7:30pm. I am still sitting in the restaurant, and no pizza. And I am not the only one. It is probably time to find another option as it is apparent this location cannot handle any volume.

Came in and ordered 3 orders of sliders and a steak sandwich. Almost 40 minutes later and hiving to keep asking, did they finally show up. My wife ordered a steak sandwich, which came 20 minutes later. It’s the worst $70 dinner I’ve had in years. Definitely not a place I would recommend to anyone. The food was okay at best. If I could Rate lower than 1, I would. Don’t waste your time with this place
