Delicious sandwiches. Were out of the pannini bread, oh well. Still a delicious turkey sandwich and beautiful reuben with marbled bread. Ordered a milkshake, then reminded them, and hubby went back a third time to get it. That was disappointing. Cute shop with handmade quilts, soaps, potholders, aprons, some woodworking, weaving, etc.

Would give 10 stars if I could! Friendly staff, food DELICIOUS and served very quickly! Ordered the breakfast burrito and it has the most amazing sauce inside along with superb home cooked tasting ingredients like potatoes, eggs and sausage! Generous portions. The ambiance is phenomenal; the walls lined with locally made gifts, crafts of all kinds, foods, art, etc. You can also watch the Brush Creek Creamery Cheese Artisans at work from the gift shop room adjacent to the dining room. The cinnamon rolls, danishes, well, everything was wonderful!

Everything here is made with great care and tastes amazing. The Ruben sandwich is by far the best I've ever had, and it is worth every penny. Do not drive past the Pie Safe! I also highly recommend their breakfast burrito.Update, the breakfast burrito is the most delicious breakfast burrito I've ever had, I'm addicted.

When visiting my sister, this place is always a must stop in! This was my first time eating here, usually we buy some cheese and browse the goods for sale. We had grilled cheese sandwiches and Tuscana soup, I believe. The sandwiches were very cheesy with perfectly toasted on the outside and melty on the inside. Every bite had a delicious taste of mild Mustard. It paired very well. The soup was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious, and dipping the sandwich created a new level of deliciousness! The staff are always very nice and helpful.We also bought brie, plain curds, Labneh, and marinated feta, all our personal favorites. I always look forward to stopping in at The Pie Safe Bakery & Kitchen. Next time, I will try the pizza, as they looked wonderful as they were being delivered to customers.

My favorite part of The Pie Safe? The cheese. And the menu is different every time we go. And the food is always delicious. And taking a nice drive. And the fact that this absolute gem is relatively isolated & is thriving. You just can't go wrong. The Labneh is great. They make the BEST blue cheese. I had the BEST Reuben there one time. Their coffee is very good. You can taste & buy their awesome cheese. Enjoy a nice drive & be rewarded with authentic homemade food.

Delicious and charming. We found this place on Trip Advisor while driving in the area after a rafting trip in Hells Canyon. It was worth the drive from the highway! Beautifully crafted, fresh, and yummy food from mostly local farms was the reward. Their house-made pastrami featured in the wonderful Reuben, and the composed Market Salad was light with a lovely dressing. The cherry pie was out of this world, as was the coffee milkshake. They make cheeses onsite, and you can buy cheeses, jams, and a variety of wood kitchen tools, quilted gifts, scented soaps, and other items in the room next to the main cafe.

Very clean with tables indoors, back room, and outside. Super clean bathrooms. Homemade everything here. Coffee was excellent, they have espresso, pies, pasties, etc. They make their own cheeses here and what a selection. Jams and spreads, breakfast, salads, and candies too. Gift shop items and plenty of parking on the side street.

Beautiful establishment, and incredible food!The Pie Safe is a worthy destination. We braved sub-freezing icy roads the first time we went, and were not disappointed. They make their own cheese and pastries, and it is done to perfection. Friendly staff, beautifully renovated and open building, and great for events.I look forward to our next trip!

Breakfast burritos, avocado toast, and cinnamon rolls - oh my! The food here is delicious 🤤 You can tell that the weather has gotten better because the line is out the door, and people have been traveling from further away.Kid-friendliness: My 3-year-old granddaughter loves the avocado toast!

I had the pleasure of attending a full course dinner here last night and the food was off the chart delicious!!! Omg the cheeses to the Baked Alaska was unbelievable. The friendly staff, the ambiance, everything was just perfect. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back for these. DEFINITELY worth the money😍

Stopped by for a couple of slices of pie. My wife and daughter shopped in the store area while I found a seat. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and homelike. We ordered the cherry pie and apple pie both a lá mode, of course. The filling in both were flavorful with tart cherries and spices apples. The crusts were buttery and flakey perfection.

Pie safe bakery been our go to place for last 4 years and happy to share that we never got disappointed. All these years we got same quality food and warmth by friendly staff. Vibe at place is so vibrant and pleasant that it’s ideal for date, friends gathering or get together. Everything on menu is amazing but nothing can beat HUCKLEBERRY SHAKE and Pecan Pie!!!

We had a great experience at the pie safe. The service is wonderful. Highly recommend the apricot and brie sandwich. They were also able to split our pizza, so we got to try margarita and alfredo. The alfredo is not heavy at all and the margarita had balsamic vinger. The huckleberry pie was fanstatics, a must try. The labneh and cheese are made in house, the labneh with herbs is amazing.

Homestyle food with an upgrade. I’m willing to try anything the Pie Safe serves...they haven’t failed me yet! The cinnamon rolls alone are worth the drive. Try any of the melty cheese sandwiches. Savor their heart warming soups. Admire the fine craftsmanship of the hand made items they have for sale. Before you leave...take a stop in the restroom because even the stalk doors are exquisitely crafted. If you can get a reservation, the special dinners are where it’s at.

Had a great time here this morning with the whole family. Coffee was so good, I had a second. I had a Breakfast Burrito, but the pastries looked amazing. I would have given this a five, but they didn't have much pastries to purchase since it was late in the morning and close to the holidays. I now understand why my son comes on a regular basis.

The atmosphere is nice, lots of natural light and windows create a comfortable feeling. The bakery was fairly busy while we were there, but the food was quick and the service was great. The "magherita pizza" was delicious, the prices were excellent, and the chocolate croissant was worth every penny. Whether you're passing through in a hurry or looking to take an hour to relax, this place will do nicely.

The Saturday morning breakfast specials were delicious! We tried both the Biscuits and Gravy and a half portion of the Eggs Benedict (shown). The portions were just right and the fresh fruit was the perfect accompaniment. The mochas were worth driving 45 minutes - what a treat! We will definitely be back.

I've been wanting to go to the pie safe for 3 years. Their award winning cheeses are to die for and I routinely buy them at the Brush Creek stand at the farmer's market in Moscow. The Pie Safe has freshly baked pies and pastries, wood fired pizzas, and a variety of sandwiches. The grilled cheese was the best I've ever had and was paired perfectly with a vanilla latte! Indoor and outdoor seating in a rustic setting. They sell a variety of locally made goods such as honey, artisan crafts, quilts, and more. Don't miss out on this awesome gem!
