What a great treat in Council. Perfect for locals or those just passing by.They offer coffee, tea, Italian sodas, treats, and a great environment. They also have a small giftshop, and FREE Library inside as well as a small library box on the outside of the building. And even more amazing treat, was that I found the book I illustrated for sale in their gift shop, ('I saw a purple bubble' is an illustrated poem for children, so if you pass by buy my book. Hehe!) The barista is talented and friendly, exactly what you want at a coffee shop. The locals are also friendly. The atmosphere is clean, bright, and adorably decorated. Highly recommend stopping here if you're passing through this little town.

We love supporting this small business. Every time we have went to visit it’s been busy. The barista and owners are amazing. It’s so great to have this little coffee shop in this beautiful small town. Thanks for all you do Council Mountain Coffee!

We were staying in the area and needed to do laundry so we stopped by. It was a clean place and we were able to get amazing drinks and even play checkers! We enjoyed the locals and the conversation. Definitely a place to visit again.

Amazing service. Absolutely stunning prices, and great tasting coffee. I’m a Dutch bros & Starbucks kind of person and I like her coffee over both of those franchises! It’s also cheaper! She’s so sweet and makes amazing drinks. I made this my morning stop on my hour commute everyday. I’m amazed still even after stopping through everyday.

Skylar is kind, welcoming and makes the best pumpkin, caramel, chai, iced cold expresso drinks. The pastries are good and the laundry mat and bathrooms are clean. May the Good Lord bless this establishment. 🙏

I have stopped a few times and only once was it good. There is no consistency between baristas. I ask for an iced caramel breve and I got a iced coffee with caramel (not the same). My kids wanted Italian sodas and normally those have cream but to our surprise no cream. The coffee just tastes watered down. On a positive note it is a cute place and the people have been friendly but just seem to not know anything about espresso.

I really want to like and support a local business, however several things happened to receive a 1 star review. The staff was friendly but I could tell they got annoyed when I asked for fresh shots rather than the ones sitting on the espresso machine from 5 minutes ago (how dare I!) Then I was asked if I was okay with no ice in my iced drink….since the fresh shots melted the ice (who trained these employees on how to make drinks?). Because of that I asked for a larger size cup of ice to dump this watered down drink into, and I was then charged for the larger size drink due to their insufficient coffee making. The other drink I ordered was just plain hot coffee, this drink was ok besides only being filled 3/4 of the way up…..

Nice little coffee shop. The young lady was very friendly. My mocha was good, a little heavy on the coffee which I like. They also had muffins and other treats. Stop and say hello.

My bicycle riding partner and I stopped for a morning coffee. We are riding from Astoria, OR to Yorktown, VA. And after being greeted by the owner before we were even off our bikes we were offered a fill up on our water bottles!After one minute of conversation it was discovered that Greg and the owner were both from Missouri (or is it Missoura). From that ensued several minutes of extremely enjoyable discussion while we drank our VERY good coffee.We also had some great conversation with a patron who was obviously a regular about his service in the VietNam war.Thanks to everyone we met there today, it was a memorable experience.

Very nice, cozy place to hang out. Lori has yummy pastries to go with the coffee. You can also get your laundry done as you sip coffee and do business on your phone/computer. You don't hear the laundry noise.

This has to be one of the friendliest businesses in Council Idaho! The laundromat is clean well-maintained and has an adjoining door to the coffee shop. The coffee shop serves excellent coffee, however the coffee is surpassed only by the friendliness of the owners and the people who are behind the counter! This almost makes doing laundry an experience to look forward to!

This café is conveniently located near main road in Council.We tried iced mocha and ice cream; both are gross. Also purchased one bag of huckleberry coffee.Friendly service.

Good coffee. I asked for a dark chocolate mocha and they didn't have the dark chips but they put in a dark chocolate syrup and it was really good!!!Parking: Decent amount of parking.

My 80 year old mother has recently been taking her laundry there every week to wash her laundry. Mind you that she broke her hip last November, so she just shuffles slowly. She backed up in your no parking area, just to unload her two bags. Mr Malvich proceeded to raise his voice at her, ordering her to move her care immediately. I grew up in Council, that is not the way things are done up there. Its a small community, we help each other out. Have a little heart, try a little kindness. You could have even offered to help. Most of all please do not ever raise your voice to my mom ever again.
