Bill and Shelly are great host! We received a very warm welcome, and have found the experience very moving! They will speak with a big smile on their face, which feels quite comforting. They also have 3 dedicated greeters 😀 Willey, Bella and Bandit (those are their 3 dogs), that means dogs are welcomed in this property (you will need to pay a small fees)It’s located in a small town. It has clean rooms with enough cutlery, microwave, freez and electric coffee pot with coffee and sugar. Sufficient parking and good outdoor seating. We will certainly live to visit this place again just to meet Bill and Shelly and their dogs!Rooms: Clean room, the one we got have Freez, microwave, electric coffee pot and plenty of cutlery.Nearby activities: Scotchman peak wilderness has many trails, some are easy and some are challenging. In summer start early in the morning b/c sun still shines the same in the North 😀Safety: We felt safe, it’s small town every one knows every oneFood & drinks: It’s small town have limited options for a vegetarian.

This place was a bucket list destination of my mother's who has terminal renal cancer. We secured a room via phone in the a.m. but I received an angry phone call from the owner wondering if I wanted the room or not when we were still an hour from Clark Fork. I was informed that he was "going to bed" at 9:15. I guess he didn't want my business, good review or MONEY that I was going to spend to make sure my mom had an amazing trip through the area one last time. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECCOMEND!

So apparently, the owner/manager of this place thinks it's okay to pose as an HOA member when he super isn't and go intimidate someone trying to sell their home by lying to them about an outrageous fee the HOA would charge for them to move; $6000 to be exact. And why? No idea. Probably greed or some other selfish reason. Well, thank you so very much for costing two hardworking, first time home buyers our dream house. Thank you so very much. You really seem like a stand up kind of guy. Jesus take your wheel because you need some serious prayer.**UPDATE**: I am WELL aware I didn't stay here and thanks to how the owner acted, I never will. I'm posting this review so people clearly understand who is taking their money.

This place is a real find! We found it by chance about 8 years ago on our way back to Spokane during a cross country bike ride. Comfortable, pet friendly, clean and all we need. Now we come here for our eating adventures, dinner at The Squeeze Inn and Lunch/brunch at The Floater in Hope! Great time!!!

This was a great place. Clean, kitchen in my room. Nice man checking me in. Comfortable bed. We had to leave before office was open the next morning, so we left key in room on the table and we called them later once opened. Just a nice small town. Also enjoyed some GLUTEN FREE Huckleberry ice cream at a local store.

First rate customer service. I sat down and had a coffee in seconds. My order was placed faster than anywhere i have ever been. The food was delicious. The staff was always there even when i didn't need anything. Hands down the best in Idaho i have ever had! Must go here. Everything was hand made and didnt come processed from a bag. Hats off to the chef. He wanted to please and did. Thank you again. The prime rib was amazing for breakfast. Now its nap time.

We are finishing up our ride on the Idaho back country discovery route and the lodge was so convenient to gas and restaurants. The young lady who greeted us upon arrival was so friendly and helpful. It’s clean and well presented on the outside as well as the inside. The owners were so nice as well. They let me pick an apple off the tree which hit the spot upon arrival. They Entertained us with the dogs chasing a ball. I felt like I was at home. Just a great place and people.

Way awesome! Our room was lodge quality with beautiful furniture in a very small community where everyone knows everyone. Very quiet, peaceful. The drive coming from Sandpointe was also quite beautiful. There's a small lounge as well and the Lodge bought our first drink! Way to go Kelly! You're one of our SECRET getaways now.

I really enjoyed this place. It was very quiet and comfortable and I especially like the nice grounds to just lay back and relax. I did have issues with WiFi and had to go elsewhere to conduct some business but that was fine with me.

We, our group of 6 Namibians plus 1 American, stayed at Clark Fork Lodge on our way back from Sturgis to Seattle. This stay was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. Clark Fork Lodge is owner managed and it shows. We certainly recommend this lodge!

5 stars w/o question for lodging that was clean, quiet, well appointed, and very reasonably priced. Excellent place to sit back and simply enjoy the outdoors. Within walking distance from a couple gas stations, a small grocery store, and a local watering hole. Here is a place to truly get away from chaotic city life. Within a 2 hour drive from Sandpoint and Couer d'Alene, Idaho as well as Spokane, WA
